“You are a chosen [woman], a royal priesthood, a holy [daughter], a [woman] belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of HIM who has called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9, NIV

Please print and post your word and verse for the week. Continue reading chapter 6 and asswer questions 1-3 at the end of the chapter. We’ll chat about them here soon.

Ya’ll make my heart smile so big!! {And just in case you wanted to know – I’m 45, live in North Carolina and in my spare time (which I rarely have), I love to watch a movie with my family, read a good book or be outside soaking up the beauty of God’s creation.} I wish I loved to cook and be crafty like so many of you!!

    In my spare time (ha) I love to read a good novel, play tennis, or watch one of my favorite chick flicks (while eating popcorn and chocolate covered peanuts…sshhh).

  2. I am forty years old and I live in Texas. I love to REST in my spare time, which includes reading, going for a walk (by myself) and spending time with my family watching movies in our living room. I also enjoy scrapbooking when I get the chance.

  5. Cheryl Boyd. I am 55. I live in Kitty Hawk, NC. I have lived here 32 years. In my spare time, I love to hunt beachglass. I also like to take sunset pictures, cook and craft. I love spending time at home with my family. And I am enjoying this bible study. I really appreciated the clarification between condemnation and conviction. It is really helping me do discern and sort through alot of my past and put some things away. That absorbed right into my spirit and I thank you.

  8. I haven’t participated in the roll call or comments yet. My name is Tori. I live in Decatur, IL and in my free time I LOVE to read and okay okay okay….I admit it….I watch TV……. Am working on finding healthier activities in my free time. All the knitters in the group (and a new grandbaby) have convinced me that I want to learn how to knit. I already know how to crochet. So, I bought a book and have watched a few helpful videos but have to admit….my stitches keep falling off …. just about the time I start making progress. This is actually quite a good metaphor for my life……needless to say, this study is good for me. Thank you ladies for your comments, inspiration, and the sisterly LOVE!!! God bless! ooops just realized I forgot to tell my age. Now how do I go back after I’ve already hit post comment….oh…..guess I can’t tee hee.

  13. I am from St.Louis Missouri. I have one son who is in the sixth grade. Been married for 17 years. I am 43 years old. What I like to do in my spare time is Bible study and cooking. I also play the piano for small church and it is such a joy to do it. I did it for 6 years before my husband and I got hitched. I have enjoyed this study and am getting a lot out of it. I took it the first time and decided to do again.

    what is your age, 31
    what do you love to do in your free time? being a mom, wife and woman of god. i love to read , scrapbook and watch christian flims.

    i had the pleasure to meet renee at a speaking engagement and have a group photo taken with her with my women’s mistry group at church. she is a great speaker and i love reading the book , watching the videos and listening to the cds.

    i ahve heard renee speak at women of faith conferences as well. i can’t wait to see her back in the dayton oh. area so i can see her again.
