Ya’ll make my heart smile so big!! {And just in case you wanted to know – I’m 45, live in North Carolina and in my spare time (which I rarely have), I love to watch a movie with my family, read a good book or be outside soaking up the beauty of God’s creation.} I wish I loved to cook and be crafty like so many of you!!

I am a mother of two super active toddler boys, so I have no free time right now. In fact, what is free time? I don’t remember it if i ever had it, which is a good thing because it would probably make me long for it too much if i remembered. But if I did have free time, I would go to the beach with a book, or wander aimlessly through a store all by myself without someone pulling on my arm saying are we going yet? I might even try on an outfit that wasn’t yoga or lounge pants. (though shopping may not really be a hobby but its a nice idea…) but reading for fun, wasting away the hours on an adventure, they are just not in the cards for me. In fact I’m even writing this one handed cradling one of my little men who is up with the croup, giving me a chance to check up on email while I hold him upright so he can sleep better.

I am 57 years old and currently live in the Arab country of Qatar. About two weeks after this study is over my husband and I will be moving back to our home in Calico Rock, Arkansas after living in the Middle East for seven years.
In my spare time I like to read, work in my yard when I am “home”, and spend time with my family.
I want to add a prayer request: My sister in law, Toni, has cancer. Please pray for healing. I am claiming that if we believe we receive our requests made to God. Thanks.

Praying for the Lord’s infinite healing powers to cure your sister in law. Fr peace for her family as they support her through this difficult time. And wisdom for the doctors that are treating her. James 5:15 – “And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”

I am from Cleveland, MS, and I am 54 years old for a just a little bit longer. Whenever I have a little time and I do try to make it a point to find that time, I like to “play” outside. I love to be outside raking leaves, pulling weeds, sitting in my swing reading my Bible or working on a Bible Study. My co-workers don’t think that is “playing”, but it’s what I consider my “play time”. I also spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking/making desserts and other things to share.

I live in the great state of Texas. I am 51 years old. I absolutely love to read. I love to read so much that about 4 years ago, I looked at my Bible and thought, this is crazy, I have tried over and over again to read this cover to cover. I do not have that problem with any other book, and this is the most important book I own, therefore, I made the decision that I would read no other book until I had finished the Bible. So I picked it up and read my NLT Bible cover to cover in 89 days. Thinking it is about time to do that again.
