Ya’ll make my heart smile so big!! {And just in case you wanted to know – I’m 45, live in North Carolina and in my spare time (which I rarely have), I love to watch a movie with my family, read a good book or be outside soaking up the beauty of God’s creation.} I wish I loved to cook and be crafty like so many of you!!

Hi. Wow God is amazing to bring community together like this!
I am 53 years young. I work full-time but my life’s love’s is time with my family in Christ, my daughters and their growing familes and growing in learning to follow God’s plans for me.
I am from Pennsylvania, I will be 33 in March, and in my free time (what is that??) I love to read.
My name is Tammy, I am just about to turn 41 years old. In my free time I enjoy surfing the web.

From Atlanta, Ga now (but lived in Jupiter, Florida for 26 years)
In my free time, I like to go on dates with the Carpenter to the park. Sometimes, we will just sit and talk. Sometimes, He will meditate with me on His wonderful book He wrote. And sometimes, we just hug each other and let each know how much we love each other.
I live in Winter Garden, Florida, I’m 42 and I love creating thinking and innovating in any way.
I haven’t been able to keep up with the study and I’m so disappointed–I’m working on three studies at the moment:
James McDonald’s Downpour–a study on revival–we just finished the section on “Myself in the dirt–a picture of repentance”
In Christ’s Image Training through Francis Frangipane’s ministry–We’re in a module on humility at the moment
I also just started the 12 step study through Celebrate Recovery–I’m not quite sure what I’m recovering from, but we’re almost through with denial and moving into powerlessness.
Are sensing a theme here? I sure am. I’ve been gradually moving toward understanding that I have nothing of value to give and that I am powerless to even obey the simplest of HIs commands, no matter how much I want to. I can look like a good girl, but inside there is nothing good in me without His transformation. I’m slowly learning how to have confidence and trust in my Father and His ability to care for me and make me someone new that is conformed to His image. I’m not done–I still have so much to learn. I rely on myself far too much, still.
I’ll try to catch up, but it may take some time.

I’m 37, live in the beautiful Pacific NW in Tacoma, WA, and in my free time I LOVE to be with my 6 nieces and nephews, read, and….snuggle with/pet my two kitties. Although I am NOT the crazy cat lady!! Oh, and since buying my first house a couple years ago, I like to think that I’m a gardener as well. 🙂
I live in North Carolina, and am 40 something! I love reading, doing word game puzzles, Facebook games, and listening to music. I have gone back to school so that takes a lot of my free time, but I love spending what free time I do have with my family.
I know I’m late in posting but just want to encourage you and let you know that I am doing this study all the way from Wellington, New Zealand. I am 44 years old. I bake when I have some free time.

I am actually applying to be a Teacher Leader for a group of students who will travel to New Zealand next spring. I’m hoping to be chosen so I can see this beautiful country!

I don’t have much free time between going to college, homeschooling, writing Bible study lessons for church, and of course all that goes with being a mom. I would enjoy being able to play my guitar and gardening.

I’m really enjoying Confident Woman. I’ve got behind many times due to my husbands’ illness but it has helped me get through these trying days. I came from an abused home before I met my husband and he tries to make me feel better and it helps but what has really helped is this series on Confident Woman. Gods’ word is so powerful and is bringing healing to me. I’m 61 yrs. old and I enjoy playing Rummikub with my husband and friends in my spare time.

Love to read, do Bible studies, and watch sunrises on the Tennessee River
Renee says, “No one will ever want you. You’ll never be good enough.” At 16 while pregnant my boyfriend dumping me said to me out of real concern. “But, who will ever want you?” Luckily, I was already a Christian (just) and looking back years later I realized it was the Holy Spirit in me who was my confidence through those times. God gave me the strength and wisdom to just move on and not try to hang on.
“Recovering from the heartbreak of being unwanted and rejected, I began to find my identity and value of who I was in Christ.” I love that. I can so relate to that. That is the difference in why we seem so confident when we really know ourselves well and all we struggle with along with all of our fears. Our confidence, while not perfect, is found in who HE says we are. That is so very different than the world’s confidence. We look strong to them who find their confidence in this ole world’s wisdom.
I love this. “The more you reaffirm who you are in Christ, the more your behavior will begin to reflect your true identity!” SO TRUE…………….
I love this sentence, “As I heard these words, my thoughts were aligned with God’s truth. It changed my whole perspective.” SOOOOO incredibly true. What we look at, what we focus on, what we listen to is PARAMOUNT!
