Please print and post your word and verse for the week. Continue reading chapter 6 and asswer questions 1-3 at the end of the chapter. We’ll chat about them here soon.

Ya’ll make my heart smile so big!! {And just in case you wanted to know – I’m 45, live in North Carolina and in my spare time (which I rarely have), I love to watch a movie with my family, read a good book or be outside soaking up the beauty of God’s creation.} I wish I loved to cook and be crafty like so many of you!!

    free time… depends which week. In my free time I love to catch a nap (sad but true), hang out at my blog (you can see I don’t have much free time by my absence), paint my nails, read or be outside on a long run.
    It’s funny cuz lately I’m so busy I’m too tired to read, write or paint my nails so I just snooze or catch up on The Voice episodes with my family.

    I just turned 50 on FEB 13th
    I enjoy studing the bible, spending time with my family and friends ,Cooking, out door activities (such as biking, Hiking, kyaking/canoeing, Skiing, walking our dog, gardening, photography)

  8. Hi everyone! I live in North Carolina and I am 49 years old. Many things that I enjoyed doing in the past are now on the “back burner” because of my health; things I thought I would still be doing at 49. Every time I get depressed about this, God teaches me over and over again that He is my answer for everything yesterday, today and tomorrow! This winter I have not had the energy to commit to a weekly Bible study at my church, so what does God do? He provides an incredible teacher online for me to learn from! (Thanks Renee for allowing God to use you in such a powerful way.) I am thankful that God has given me the ability to enjoy being with my family and friends, reading, writing, taking shorts walks, cooking (only because I like to eat!), singing and listening to music; and most of all, time with our Lord. I have so enjoyed reading everyone’s posts; this is so cool connecting with women from so many different places!
    I wanted to share one more thing that really got my attention about spare time. A friend shared with me from her late mother’s journal this quote: “You can never find time to do anything; you must make time for your accomplishments.” Ain’t that the truth!

  10. The first step in moving from AM to FM is to recognize the throght for what it is, as it says in 1 Corinthians 10:5
    “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

    I am 54 years in to the journey God has planned for my life

    I enjoy Christian music (singing, listening,compiling playlists on a particular topic), reading, and travelling with my husband since we are now empty-nesters

    My sister and I live in different cities, and have talked about doing a Bible study together for many years. This gives us the opportunity to do just that!

    I am 42 years old. I live in MN.
    In my spare time which is very small since I have 7 children and work every weekend so I can be home during the week, I like to spend time with the family, like watching movies, going for walks, going to farm shows or tractor shows, read sometimes my devotional books like confident heart,and sometimes a good christian fiction book, cook and bake and read cooking magazines or new cookbooks, garden and go camping with the family.

    2. 45 (had to sit and think about that…and a little surprised that I’m not 44)
    3. TOO MUCH free time and it is not good for my sanity. Moved to GA 2.5 years ago. I have no friends, although I know some people to say “hey” to, no family near, can not find a job. Trying to keep my head up and this study helps me use my brain, redirect some bad thought habits/patterns I’ve let develop, and a bit ofspiritual growth is always a blessing. I’m blessed with an amazing husband, 3 great kids, 3 dogs and a cat running around….many, many blessings.

  20. I am from Michigan, and after living in 3 other states, and another country, I am back close to where I grew up!

    I am 27, and nervous about being closer to 30….. 🙂

    I LOVE spending time with my husband, just relaxing on the couch, watching TV, talking about our lives, or praying together (the list goes on). On my own, I like to read, watch sci-fi TV, and work on my novel. And I love being able to learn about confidence in Christ! I’m learning so much from the book, and God has given me confidence by pushing me out of my comfort zone so I can better be used by Him! 🙂
