I ma trying to subscribe using the link on the right of the page but it keeps redirecting me to a Google account login. I don’t use a gmail account but still want to subscribe (and hopefully NOT miss anymore) but I can’t get it to accept my yahoo email address. Help?! 🙂

I think the timing of this couldn’t have been better and considering that I haven’t been a subscriber to your blog since a year or two ago, it is a wonder that I received this email at all. It is a wonderful, amazing reminder of how God continues to work in our lives even when our faith falters and we reject him. I feel drawn to reading this as if it was written for me and am feeling an anticipation that I haven’t felt in a long time. I feel blessed by your gift, thank you.

I wish I could download the free Kindle App to then pick up your devotional but my iPad is first generation and doesn’t have enough “go power” to support the Kindle app.
My husband and I are about to go into Christian Counselling (tomorrow at 10 actually 🙂 to address his recent “coming out” as an atheist and I am hoping for prayer surrounding us as we enter this new valley together.

I needed this prayer this morning. My mind is racing of everything I need to do, but when I read the prayer, my heart slowed, my mind focused on my Lord, Praise you my Father! Give me peace, let me focus only on you, I know you will guide me through this day.

Thank you for your free devo today. I read your book “A Confident Heart” and honestly, it changed my life. It was a very difficult book to read. I could only emotionally handle about a paragraph to a couple pages a day . I journaled while I went through the book, allowing God to take me to some dark places in my past. I’m happy to say that the book, along with rest and http has helped this woman’s heart grow in confidence.

Thank you for this Encouragement for Today post. Especially today, Valentine’s Day, when a person like me, who hasn’t been in a relationship in years, feels completely and totally left out of the celebration of love. Not trying to have a pity party. It is what it is. But, thanks still for the reminder that our Father loves us when no one else will.
