I’ll go first: I’m 46 and live in North Carolina. In my free time (which I wish I had more of) I love to sit on our back porch and read, and relax or play games with my family. I also love to watch a movie with my husband.

  1. Good morning everyone, I am 48 years old & I live in Maryland. In my spare time I love to just enjoy the great outdoors. I love going to the beach (my favorite place to be). I love going to the park with my doggie & best friend Harley. I love to go camping, hiking, boating, fishing, riding on motorcycles (wish I had my own Harley to ride, if I had the courage to get my license I would). Unfortunately I do have a lot of spare time (too much) which I’m trying to fill up more now with going to church & being in fellowship with other church members. I just started working with a woman at my church so she can teach me how to become a better Christian & become closer to Jesus. Guess that was a little more information than what you asked for, I’m much better at writing out my thoughts & interests than talking about them.

In my spare time I love to go to the beach (EARLY MORNING) plant my chair, listen to worship music and just spend time with GOD.       I have just learned to knit. I am 51 years old, a mother of two, and a grandmother of two and another one on the way. I read every night before bed for enjoyment. Our growing season here in Maine is so short , we have time to plant a vegetable garden and I enjoy my flower beds. I look forward to sharing more with you as a grandmother and as a woman of God.     My name is Susan and I’m 32. I live in Massachusetts. I don’t have much free time at the moment, but when I do get some I enjoy spending time with my family. When the weather is nice, I love going to my parents house and sitting on their porch swing and reading. I also enjoy watching movies with friends.

  46. I am in Purmela Texas and I am 64 years old. In my spare time I love to travel, crochet, study more in depth God’s word. I am a Women Of Faith Leader which takes up a lot of my spare time, but so rewarding when you see their faces when the event starts.
    I have 7 grandkids that I love to go visit, by the time I get one visit to each it is time to start over since they are so spread out.

          • My 11yr old daughter is really wanting to travel to New Zealand after all the publicity from the Hobbit. We were just reading about New Zealand in National Geographic for kids. My oldest son really wants to visit the Austrailia Zoo. He’s a huge fan of Steve Erwin. We live in Indiana in the USA. I’m 42 and I like to watch movies with my husband after the kids are asleep. I also like to read to my children who are 6, 11, 13 and 22. In my spare time I like to borrow lots of books from the library mostly cookbooks and how-to books.

          • Hi Nancy the weather here is great. We just heading out of summer into autum.
            It’s lovely. I live in a small town called Timaru which about the middle of the South Island
            On the east coast. We have the sea on one side and mountains on the other.
            The bad weather generally avoids us.
            We watch it go around us. 🙂
            Scenery is amazing. If you are into the outdoors
            Our place is the place to be. I walk to the beach in 5 minutes
            And drive to the mountain in about half an hour :-). Beautiful.

          I am a Scottish woman living in Glasgow and Iam 56 years old and have 4 grown up children. I like doing bible study and going on adventures to investigate God’s creation absolutely anywhere e.g walking in the hills, visiting remote islands in Scotland and reading up on cosmology. I love spending time with my children and husband when we go on holidays to the islands in Scotland.

            I would love to visit Scotland. I am 39, mom to, 4,7 and 10 year old girls and a 13year old son. I love to watch the kids activities but in my spare time for me, I like to work out and read my devotions and God’s word. I am glad to be doing this study and cleaning up broken pieces that have been hidden from view and preventing me from truly knowing the Lord’s love.

      • I live in East Bernard, Texas which is about 30 miles SW of Sugar Land! It’s a small farming community. I am 54. My husband and I enjoy hiking and camping. We love spending time with our grown children and their spouses and especially with our 18 month old grandson. My favorite thing to do when I’m all by myself is to watch birds in our back yard. We have such a wonderful variety. Glad to meet some sisters who are close by!

If you look on the website, they have support group meetings and you can request to be a leader and you would choose request to lead face to face study/support group. I know they have an online support group for women over 40. Just at thought…..
