Freedom. We long for it. We fight for it. We will do anything to get it.
Yet sometimes we forget to live in it!
This weekend while our family celebrated the freedom and independence of our country, I was reminded what freedom means and how easily I take it for granted, especially as a Christ-follower. Yet Jesus said, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.“John 8:36
In Christ we are free!
- Free from guilt that weighs us down and sin that holds us back.
- Free from labels that define us and doubts that limit us.
- Free from grace-less expectations and obligations.
It was for freedom that Christ set us free. (Galatians 5:1). Let’s take hold of this truth, and LIVE #FREE in the power of HIS promises and the purpose of His plans for our lives!

FREEDOM from Mommy-Guilt
Do you look at other families who seem so “put together” and wonder why your’s doesn’t isn’t? Does mommy-guilt over your child’s “issues” ever keep you from enjoying motherhood and where your kids are in their journey of growing up?
There have been times when I could answer “yes” to both questions. And during those days or weeks, or months, I miss out on what God has for me as a mom.

I would love No More Perfect Kids…. being free of mommy guilt..

No More Perfect Kids. While my kids are now grown and on their own, I continue to read and pass along appropriate, welcome advice / suggestions, especially for those who either don’t have much time to digest a book or aren’t avid readers.
I would love the book. I need to grow in the area of expectations and obligations. I tend to over-extend myself and with health issue, I’m not able to meet some obligations and expections of not only others, but myself and I don’t like feeling guilty because of it.
Freedom, I know it in my head but the last two years I’ve found myself locked up in a prison of past issues. There have been so disappointments and some relationships that just threw me for a loop and I just have a difficult time getting up again. I would love to have the conference call, just to be able to speak to someone and possible receive some motivation to move forward in faith. Thanks Renee.

I would love the Conference Calls…..right now I am working on being a better wife and mother through letting Christ heal the small places in my heart that I have left under lock and key. This conference call series would be amazing for letting God heal my past pain so I can live an abundant life in Him. Knowing who I am comes only from His view of me – – not anyone of this world. Either but I would benefit most from the Limitless Life. God recently revealed to me my calling and I want to have a life without LIMITS that I give and only accept those from the Lord. God chose me to be a shepherd for the little people. I never thought in a million kazillion years that He would choose me to be a leader for children and their families. It is an honor that is so unimaginable! I want to become MY best for HIM and to do so I know I would benefit from Living a Limitless Life for Jesus! ***Doing a Happy Dance at this very moment while trying to type!!!!***

I love both but I think the freedom from mommy guilt would help me. I am expecting my third child (a total surprise, thought it was menopause 🙂 ) and I keep thinking that I am not doing a good job with the first two and what am I going to do with this third one. Thanks and blessings!

I would like the Limitless Life. To be living a Limitless life for Jesus would be the best!
I would feel very blessed to win the conference call! The area I feel I need the most help is my spiritual life and trusting in the Lord and letting go of my past sins. I think that is what is holding me back from being a better mom, wife, and friend. I long to let go of guilt over past mistakes and past wrong choices and live in true freedom, as your post so encouraged.
I would love to win this for my daughter! She is trying to get pregnant and I know that she will need this type of ministry!

Limitless Life because, well, I’m not quite living that way now and I surely believe God would want me to live Limitless.
