  1. I literally found your book because I did a goodle search on “I don’t feel like I measure up.” It’s been overwhelming me & I feel like insecurity is washing over me. The example of Eve was so pertinent. I was in a physically/emotionally abusive relationship for 16 years & this year I got married to a man that is so good to me & my children, I feel like I have everything, so why do I feel so inadequate? I don’t know, I’ve probably lost sight of all the goodness & restoration God has done in my life. In any case, I was encouraged by the post & am planning to try to read the book was if I can find it.

  8. As I am doing Beth Moore’s study – Secrets – it is showing me the same as the prayer. That He is already there – let Him lead us and things will go as they are suppose to – not the way we want them too. Learning to pray and leave it in His control (not ours) is a new form of peace.

I am so glad that my Father’s love toward me is unfailing and that He will pursue me because He desires to be in an intimate relationship with me. His love for me is simply overwhelming and I have been blessed more than mere words can express. Thank you , Sheila.

    Renée Your raffle copter has been so broken, I had so many tweets, and Facebook, and Pinterest URLs but I couldn’t load them all the time I had trouble, I hope that you’re able to go to my pages and see them, but if not I hope that they generate a lot of publicity for you. I know that with the tweets at least I’ve gotten so many retweets, favorites…. As soon as I put one out I get five things back on it, it’s crazy your editors and publicists are doing a great job. Along with hundreds of people I don’t know!!! same thing with Pinterest, I have all these strangers pinning off my board! LOL it kind of feels awesome to be part of something so big!

    But what is even more awesome and I wanted to write you a few days ago on Friday well, actually Thursday- I found it Thursday night on Christianbook.com. I saw that #AConfidentheart #devotional had been put out for free. And I didn’t know if I was able to tell anybody, I didn’t want to ruin your contest by letting people know it was free…. But man oh man, was I singing praises! I felt so blessed. All I wanted was to win this book, I had been entering everywhere, and I have been praying, I read your story and it touched me and I knew I needed this. In January my friend told me when a confident heart the full book had gone for free and I did get that. But for some reason, after reading your proverbs story, I felt I needed the devotional. And I felt so blessed to see it for free, and I was so excited because I know a lot of times it goes on to Amazon next day. And I just wanted to get a hold of you and find out if I was able to share it! Then your email came out saying that it was free for everyone, and I cannot believe the generosity of your heart. I had read in your blog where you had gotten so much feedback from your story and I knew that you just felt that everyone deserves to have the blessing of this book. To do a free giveaway in the middle of all this contest is just unheard of. You’re an amazingly gracious and generous woman and to God I pray blessings on you 7×7 and more, and I pray that the people who did respond and picked up your book I pray that they read it, and I pray that they’re touched by it and that God opens their eyes and their hearts in the name of Jesus Amen! Thank you again!

    Also, I signed up on your site to get your weekly emails, I was looking forward to the continuation of the story. did I miss that somehow? Or has that not come out yet? Thank you for EVERYTHING. I mean not only the give awayS but taking the time to write multiple places and sharing yourself openly, and then doing giveaways on top of that, and then when a raffle copter broken you extend the giveaway and send out emails on how to even get that prize later and you’re right on top of it within seconds on some of the emails I’ve sent, I just think you spend an extraordinary amount of time on details and I really appreciate it. (Slowdown?:). ).

  16. I would love to win Shell’s Prayer Journal because I believe her prayer has helped me conquer my indecision about trusting God. I am going through what could be a very dark, defeated time in my life…but following this prayer there is no room for doubt. Step by step and verse by verse she has set the stage for faith to rise up in my heart..&it does when I read her prayer. It is like Sheila introduces me to Jesus & then leaves do He can love only me. So intimate & caring…I can’t remember being prayed for that way in a long time.
