Beloved: greatly loved; dear to the heart.
There is a reason God calls us His be-loved.
Because we don’t have to “do” anything to be loved — by Him.
When we live loved…
We can be still…. stop striving and remember that He is God.
We can choose to find resting place for our restless hearts in HIM
We can stop scurrying and hurrying because “doing more” doesn’t define us
We can rest secure knowing His banner over us is LOVE.
You are loved…not because of what you do but because of who you are.
HIS {greatly loved, dear to HIS heart} beloved!

Hi, I do believe this is an excellent blog. I stumbledupon
it 😉 I am going to return once again since I bookmarked
it. Money and freedom is the best way to change, may you be
rich and continue to help others.
This was such a good chapter on NOT worrying – and trusting God. 🙂 Easier said than done some days, or when we forget God is in complete control – all the time! He does care about what we care about, and is always working out everything for our good and for His purposes.
I love this verse Renee added in Chapter 9, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'” (Psalm 91:1-2
Another great chapter to ponder, think about, pray over and then put some of these things to action!
I have long known I’m more of a Martha personality type. I have been struck reading this chapter (like several of the other chapters) that you are writing for me personally. The truth is a balm to my troubled heart and a buoy to grab hold of in the turbulent waters. I’m thankful. I’m trying to train myself to think of myself as the Beloved of the Lord – such a term of endearment. It’s going to take practice, just as thinking of myself as God’s Masterpiece. I’m grateful for what the Lord has taught you, Renee. I’m asking God to reveal what I need to learn – I long to know.
I used to be a Martha–now I’m more of a Mary…it is SO much better to be a Mary….It gives me great comfort knowing that God is always with me…He gives me rest…He holds me in his arms……My favorite part of Chapter 9 is Psalm 25:4-5~”Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.”
My husband is facing serious health issues and our finances are in crisis. I read your P31 from a few days ago regarding Praying God’s Words – I am so needing to gain confidence in my prayers, and your guidance is just what I needed. I am not a great memorizer – but the first verse I learned was Hebrews – God’s Word is living and active. I didn’t really get that – until I read your application, to make His Word living in a situation and active in my life and those I pray for. What a revelation!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much, and God bless you!
Today my husband lost his job. Was fired from a contract position for ‘poor performance’. We have cut everythinhg we can and are still in the red. Now I know what people mean when they say they see red. All I see now are bills that won’t get paind, a child that will be denied, and my pitance of a paycheck go for nothinhg. How can I BE-LOVED in this. Where is God?
He does love you keep that in your heart and in your head. Don’t let that be stolen from you.
He does love you – God is right there with you, he will be with you every step of the way in this.
And he will NEVER abandon you ever.
I can think of all kinds of practical advice but that’s not what you need right now I don’t think
You need “My Beloved Child I am ALWAYS with you in good times and bad”
Cling to him and trust him. God will make a way
Whenever a job site is being renovated, it looks disastrous, hopeless and the furthest thing from what you would ever want to reside in.
God IS working ALLLLLL things for your family’s good and favor. And when this RENOVATION season has passed, you will find that His RESTORATION will surpass everything that you ever hoped or needed. Let Him work and watch and see all that He will do for you all!!
Just remember when the floods came up and the rains poured down, the wise one was not shaken because their foot was on solid ROCK…..the ROCK of God’s promises of HOPE! Keep praying for His peace and vision and Keep the faith, your Heavenly Architect is at work!!
So encouraged by your transparency Renee that a Christian sister I admire still struggles. My worry & fear almost beat me last year as satan really attacked my thought life and marriage.
I loved your visual and physical of writing down your worries and giving them to your cross.
I need to do this and not take them up again.
Bless you for your transparency and gift at sharing.
Thank you for your encouraging words, and for continuing to share the message of Christ to the world.
