Today I wanted to share with you a “LetGodLoveYou” Prayer written by my sweet and amazing friend Sheila Mangum.
“Lord, you are GREAT and most worthy to be praised. (Psalm 145:3) There is NONE like You. (Jeremiah 10:6) You are the God who sees. (Genesis 16:13) You see Your daughter in desperate need of Your love and attention. (Psalm 121:1-8) Your heart yearns for her wholeness. (John 5:5-7) Your desire is for her heart to explode with Your love. Your love is safe for her. It will not wound. (Psalm 147:3)
Your love heals and delivers. It will NOT leave. (Deuteronomy 31:8) Father, stoop down this minute and give Your daughter the attention she needs today. (Psalm 18:35) She feels alone. She feels weak. Therefore, fill her days with laughter, love, and beauty. (Proverbs 17:22) Strengthen her spirit to receive Your healing love. Even if she feels like running from you, chase her down. Prove to Your daughter You are faithful no matter what! (2 Timothy 2:13)
Give her encouragement when she expects it the least. (1 John 4:19) Give her mercy when she feels the least to deserve it. (Ephesians 2:4) Give her whispers of love into her heart. (Psalm 73:26) Let her taste and see that You are good. She is fortunate because YOU are Faithful and True! (Revelation 19:11) “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the woman who trusts and takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8 (AMP) Father, wipe her tears today and love her BIG. (Revelation 21:4)
Friend, let’s Let God Love US as we RETURN TO OUR FIRST LOVE today. (Revelation 2:4) In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed. Amen and Amen!

Today is Feb 14 and I am going thru a divorce that has been going on since October 2012. I filed, my husband married my and my children an after a couple years stepped away from our “family”. He would go to church or games nothing “family”. 4 months into the divorce he said he needed to make amends with a fellow deputies widow. A “religious” woman. She prayed with him for our marriage and that is where he is today. This hit me this valentine day. It really spoke to me that I am Gods Valentine and that is where MY worth is. I am still married til our new court date in April and I believe God can heal but my husband has to want that. That is why I would like a journal.
There are so many hurting women in my life right now. I would love to share this with them.
I would love you win
What a wonderful prayer! This is my first Valentines alone and this prayer was a great reminder of God’s great love for each of us no matter what we are going through? Thank you so much!
Thank you for this prayer! It was such an encouragement to me!
God’s word is so powerful and beautiful! Thank you, Sheila for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift and reminder. Reading this prayer made me smile on the inside. His love is amazing and so very real. After experiencing what feels like a lifetime of heartbreaks, rejections and fear, God’s love is setting me free. Thank you Jesus for loving me sweetly, deeply and unconditionally. You have my heart and I am grateful.
My heart has been battered many times in the past few years. I have been made to feel unworthy in two major areas of my life. Living with an angry and depressed alcoholic has taken it’s toll on my confidence. Not being able to share honestly my situation is difficult. I have also had the “rug” pulled out from under me by those above me several times. I don’t know where I would be without Christ and His word. When I feel like I can’t go on He lifts me up through faithful peaple like you.
I would love to experience your prayer journal and would also love to sharing the gifts I will reap from it. God bless you and continue in Jesus Name.
God’s love never ceases to amaze me! Just when I am feeling the lowest, unloved, and lonely, he sends this prayer in the middle of the night for comfort! Why is it we turn to God as a last resort and not the first resource of power and love?
I love reading your stories….they stir my soul. I have always loved Isaiah 54– at a turning point in my life it helped me to survive and I still stand on the truth written here. Thank you for your prayer for those who may have put their expectations in things other than God alone. You seem to have experienced things that help you to encourage and comfort those who need to be comforted. God’s ways are mysterious….thank you!
I would LOVE to learn how to let God love me. For my daughter. I see her young heart hurt-when she feels alone, unlovable, unloved, and sometimes worthless. I can speak truth to her, but honestly, I still have those exact feelings too. And then the words I tell her are hollow at best. I want so badly for her to know fully, truly how God cherishes her and values her, that she is never really alone and that God sees her as beautiful even if she doesn’t feel beautiful or when her peers reject her.
He has such an unfailing and unwavering love for us and what a joy that brings everyday!
Give her encouragement when she expects it the least. (1 John 4:19) Give her mercy when she feels the least to deserve it. (Ephesians 2:4) Give her whispers of love into her heart. what a powerful statement, prayer, something that I will be meditating on it daily..thank you I needed to read this!!!
I love the verses in the prayer. I would love to win a prayer journal. I love you, Renee. I love your book. I needed this prayer. Recently went through a difficult situation. Claiming God’s word was all that got me through. Blessings Diana

I am currently reading your book a confident heart and I love it. Thank you for listening to your friends and your heart and writing. You sure have a beautiful heart and way of sharing the love of The Lord with women everywhere. I love this prayer and all of the prayers posted. I have enjoyed learning how to pray confidently and with scripture. I would love to win the prayer journal but know the right woman will win. Thank you
How beautiful and powerful to pray His words back out loud!
Thank you. I needed to pray this for my daughter who is struggling with some post-partum depression and some PTS.
What a beautiful prayer and so needed. I would so love to have your prayer journal. What a blessing that would be to this mama of four boys!
