Today I wanted to share with you a “LetGodLoveYou” Prayer written by my sweet and amazing friend Sheila Mangum.
“Lord, you are GREAT and most worthy to be praised. (Psalm 145:3) There is NONE like You. (Jeremiah 10:6) You are the God who sees. (Genesis 16:13) You see Your daughter in desperate need of Your love and attention. (Psalm 121:1-8) Your heart yearns for her wholeness. (John 5:5-7) Your desire is for her heart to explode with Your love. Your love is safe for her. It will not wound. (Psalm 147:3)
Your love heals and delivers. It will NOT leave. (Deuteronomy 31:8) Father, stoop down this minute and give Your daughter the attention she needs today. (Psalm 18:35) She feels alone. She feels weak. Therefore, fill her days with laughter, love, and beauty. (Proverbs 17:22) Strengthen her spirit to receive Your healing love. Even if she feels like running from you, chase her down. Prove to Your daughter You are faithful no matter what! (2 Timothy 2:13)
Give her encouragement when she expects it the least. (1 John 4:19) Give her mercy when she feels the least to deserve it. (Ephesians 2:4) Give her whispers of love into her heart. (Psalm 73:26) Let her taste and see that You are good. She is fortunate because YOU are Faithful and True! (Revelation 19:11) “O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the woman who trusts and takes refuge in Him.” Psalm 34:8 (AMP) Father, wipe her tears today and love her BIG. (Revelation 21:4)
Friend, let’s Let God Love US as we RETURN TO OUR FIRST LOVE today. (Revelation 2:4) In the Mighty Name of Jesus we have prayed. Amen and Amen!

Oh please God answer all our prayers Lord, and grant us Peace as you do. God is making changes in my life, I’ve always considered myself a prayer warrior, but now I have a morning prayer I dedicate to Him, and I’m changing to want to be more obedient, I’m facing confusion, and I pray about it. God brought the answer to my door last night, a group of people from the church down the street, that I have been thinking about visiting came to invite me to tonight’s service. Me and my son went to attend. I’m sure we will go back and attend and check it out some more. I know God wants me in the fellowship so that I can be of service. I’m just not sure which church to attend. I always had a personal relationship with Christ, I’ve just never been a churched person. There’s a lot of turmoil and confusion and fear in opposition and pain in my life right now, I need help, and if I look at it the Lord is helping me, but it feels so distant. I have to remember feelings are just feelings.
blessings,
Kelly

This prayer is such a blessing. I felt that God was telling me to read over my lunch hour, but I wasn’t sure what He wanted me to read… I opened my browser and saw Renee Swope’s blog as a bookmark, and felt a whisper to click. From Renee’s blog I found the link to this prayer, and God is SO GOOD for leading me here today. It’s the drink of water I needed in this moment. I am going to share this prayer with my friends! Thank you so much!

Wow – this would be so wonderful. I recently realized I found it easier to pray if I wrote out my prayers, when I’m saying them in my head, my thoughts start to wander. so I got a pad of paper and started writing, prayers that wouldn’t even last a few minutes, lasted much longer as I wrote about what was on my heart, and people to pray for. Thank you for continuing to inspire me to do more for God!

I really needed that prayer. I’ve been havin a rough time for the past year, I have been away from church and trying to handle things on my own.s When I pray sometimes I wonder if God hears my prayers. I need him so badly. Thank you for helping me to stop and listen to Him instead of trying to figure it out alone.
Linda says

This comment is in regard to the prayer and journal. I subscribed to Shelia’s posts a bit ago and God used it in a big way. Her prayer encouraged me and gave me hope b/c I have to confess I had almost lost hope my situation could change but last night & today(Monday) a breakthrough in my marriage situation occurred. There is chance for hurt and a long uphill climb for my husband & I BUT there is now a small flame of hope and for the first time in months my husband asked me to pray with him-I think the prayer revived hope and faith in God and soothed some of my hurt and its like after I confessed my hopelessness God came and answered-this is kind of a rambling comment but I think I just mean the prayer meant something to me AS nd was a huge help and enjoy encouragement-so thanks to all at P31 and praise to my Great God and of course must continue to have faith b/c I have a bruised hear and healing takes time so please pray for my marriage if you read this and pray that the breakthrough we had will really be just that-a break in the wall and a pushing away of Satan so that are marriage will survive and not just survive but flourish for the glory of God.
