I shared a few of these thoughts here a few weeks ago but wanted to share them and a few more here again this afternoon. You see, in just over 15 days, I’ll be doing something I’ve never done before. And I planned it with you in mind.
You…the woman who senses God has more for her but just isn’t sure how to find it, hold on to it or live in it.
I wish we were meeting in a coffee shop so I could look across the table and say this, because if I could I would!! Will you go on a journey with me – a journey of finding out just how much God has for you? A process of uncovering lies that hold you back and truth that can set you free.

I’ll be hosting an online study right here beginning next month, and I’d love for you to join me! It’ll be you, me and women from all over gathering here beginning January 16th to read through my book, A Confident Heart. We’ll walk through each chapter together and discover how we can overcome self-doubts and strong or even subtle insecurity by learning how to to live in THE security of God’s promises! I’m so excited about all God’s laying on my heart for our study, and I’d love for you to be part of this special community where we’ll share encouragement, prayers and stories of all that God is doing in and through us!

I am truly blessed to receive this email and invitation for this online bible study. I so want to have a Confidant Heart in my Lord. I am so tired of being on fire one minute, and then losing that fire the next. I don’t want to doubt His promises to me, but walk confidantly in the reality of them. Being a single mom of two teenagers with a full time job which I am blessed to have, I have truly seen the goodness of God in the land of the living! I am so looking forward to this bible study and I pray that it would bless many women and a double portion for you!

I am so excited to start this study. I have realized while participating in your 7 day Doubt Diet that I am severely lacking in any type of confidence at this time. When my husband of nearly 30 years divorced me in May of this year, it felt like my entire world crumbled around me. It never dawned on me that it also crumbled all confidence in myself and even in God. Yes, I know with everything in me that God has always been there and probably cried right along with me at the crumbling of my marriage. I am just starting to come to some semblance of terms with the situation and your book is really helping me realize that I can have the confidence that with whatever happens in my life the one truth I can count on is that God’s will is always sovereign and He will walk with me through all this.
I downloaded your book to my kindle the day it released. While, I do love my kindle, I am realizing that this is one book that I am really wanting right in front of me. It is a book that I find myself wanting to make notes in and refer back and forth through the book. Possible with kindle, but not all that easy.
Really looking forward to this online study. Plan to let my Bible study group know about it and see if they would like to take this up as our next study and go through this together. We meet once a week and it would be perfect.

I’m sitting here after reading this link from a sister on our Church group wall and thanking God and just leaping in my heart with joy to join in on this much needed bible study. I signed up and am looking forward to purchasing the book and to over come doubt and discouragement. Just a few months ago I was in a phone conversation with another sister of mine and as we talked she said to be confident in Christ in all my surroundings with people and the discouragement and doubt woithin yourself will vanish, well I thought “what a great key to pounder and seek guidance in prayer over. So now here I am. Thank you God for answering my prayer! God is so faithful, and good all the time.

As women we are in a spiritual battle daily, attacked mentally, physically, emotionally, & spiritually. We need to come together daily & prepare ourselves. I am so excited to get started! I have struggled with never feeling good enough for over 20 years. I have been married for 19 years but just prior to getting married to a guy I dated in high school, I dated a godly man for 2 years. We had a wonderful relationship and even started talking about marriage. However, due to the pain from his first marriage, he was afraid to make that commitment once again. We both believed in our hearts, after much prayer, that we were supposed to get married but he just couldn’t push past the pain. As a result, I didn’t feel “good enough for a Christian man”. Because of this I ended up “settling” for the marriage I have not which has been difficult as he is a non-believer. I married him knowing that I should not have but believed it’s all I could have! We have a wonderful son and daughter and I never want either one of them to struggle the way I have! Fortunately, because of my faith, my children love God and live for Him!

I remember being so excited about your study. I bought the ebook; couldn’t wait for the printed copy. I did read it, but didn’t follow the study with others. This has been the result of a mish mash of reasons. Vacation, faulty ereader…..
Anyway, I am really looking forward to this study with you; I promise myself to be sooo dedicated. No vacations in sight and I hope my ereader cooperates.

I have signed up for the study and am praying I will somehow be able to get a book by the time the study starts. Unfortunately, my husband has been unemployed for 10 months and there just is no extra to purchase even the smallest thing like a book. How do you turn down an invitation to have a “Confident Heart”, I felt the invitation to join this Bible study was for me personally. Actually it was. I haven’t read the chapters available yet, or ordered the book, or really told myself this is a commitment, I just acted. I want, need and am working on a Confident Heart. I feel “stuff” welling up inside me lately and with confidence I know it can overflow. It’s scary to be happy and move forward with life, but I am ready! Thanks Renee for invite. I picked up your book, “A Confident Heart” a few months ago and I just started reading it.
God has truly blessed you with the gift of writing books that comes straight from your heart for women, such as myself who need to not only learn about self-doubt, but, to also face them as well. I truly believe in my heart that every women who signs up for this on-line Bible Study will become a “Confident Woman” and overcome all their fears and doubts and stand firm in God’s promises…Amen!
As I was reading the names of all the women who have made a comment, there was one in particular that touched my heart and I do hope that you will consider “Janet, Nov 29, 2011 @ 5:54PM request and to blessed this woman/angel as she calls her, a complete stranger, who by faith took Janet into her home so that she wouldn’t be homeless. I’ve signed up. I am hoping this will draw me closer to God. I just lost a dear friend that I have been with for over 18 years. My little kitty K.C. I know that it may be strange to say that a cat can be a best friend but she was. She was so sweet and we shared a lot of special moments. From the beginning I felt God put her in my life as a reminder of how much he loves me. At times it felt like she was a little angel in a fur coat. She died in my arms on Monday night (28th) at the emergency vet clinic from cancer. They gave her something to relax and she was comfortably laying in my arms facing me. I was the last thing she saw before she died. I miss her so much and my heart is breaking. I know God will bring me through this time of great sadness. And I know there is a season for everything. It’s just hard when those seasons end. I am looking forward to the next part of my journey with Him.
