Do you long for lasting confidence?

I shared a few of these thoughts here a few weeks ago but wanted to share them and a few more here again this afternoon. You see, in just over 15 days, I’ll be doing something I’ve never done before. And I planned it with you in mind.

You…the woman who senses God has more for her but  just isn’t sure how to find it, hold on to it or live in it.

I wish we were meeting in a coffee shop so I could look across the table and say this, because if I could I would!! Will you go on a journey with me – a journey of finding out just how much God has for you?  A process of uncovering lies that hold you back and truth that can set you free.

Free to see just how significant you are to God.

Free to live in your God-given purpose, passion and personality!

Free to walk away from guilt-induced doubt and live with grace-induced confidence!

I’ll be hosting an online study right here beginning next month, and I’d love for you to join me! It’ll be you, me and women from all over  gathering here beginning January 16th to read through my book,  A Confident Heart. We’ll walk through each chapter together and discover how we can overcome self-doubts and strong or even subtle insecurity by learning how to to live in THE security of God’s promises! I’m so excited about all God’s laying on my heart for our study, and I’d love for you to be part of this special community where we’ll share encouragement, prayers and stories of all that God is doing in and through us!

  3. Blessings to you, I signed up and am finally really truly ready to see what God has in store for me, I don’t know why but honestly I feel a little scared. I believe God by nature made me a noble, sensitive child with a servants heart. Unfortunately even though I was born and raised into a Christian home(my grandfather was a preacher & evangelist) my father had many personal issues & demons he was fighting with which he unloaded on us (his children as well as my mother). I don’t really remember any happy memories with my Father, just a lot of emotional pain. He intimidated us, belittled us breaking our spirits into a million little pieces, so you can imagine how our teenage & young adult life became…..we made alot of bad choices, a nightmare for my Mother. I always struggled in my spiritual life with trusting God cause my earthly father had let me down so bad. Some of those bad choices resulted in being told I would not be able to have children and if I did they could be born unhealthy. I’m married now to a wonderful God fearing man & have 3 beautifull girls with the middle names Grace, Joy & Hope. Thank you Jesus! cause you still do miracles. I know that God wants to heal me completely & I’m afraid of facing the pain which I have concealed for so long. Please pray for me. I have not purchased the book for financial reason, my husband has been struggling to find a stable job (he’s in the Construction field in Calif.). He’s been working a temp. job which has the potential to become a permanent job for him. Please keep him in your prayers. God Bless you & I hope I win the book. 🙂

    • Dear Susan, I so FEEL for you! And you will be in my prayers. My husband is going through a similar thing. Unemployment is out of control it seems. Thank God he is a sub teacher, but like the temp job, you never know. Keep hanging in there!!!

  5. I’m so excited about this! This study starts on my birthday so I take it as a sign from God! Yay! I’ve been reading through A Confident Heart and I love it. Can’t wait to dig in deeper and learn how to let go of my performance driven life and truly let God show me unconditional love He gives to everyone.
    Thank you for letting God lead you to pour into women who truly need to know they are smart, kind, important, loved no matter what satan throws at them… Blessings to you!

  6. I am glad you are doing this…I would love a free copy, it would help a lot. I am asking the Lord to rescue my heart with whatever means He wills. Thank you for your heart to want to walk this journey out with other women. I pray you find all the grace you need.

  13. I really would like an opportunity to read your book. As a victim of severe emotional abuse growing up, I have a really hard time finding ant worth in myself. I am involved in several women’s Bible study groups and signed up for yours because I’m hoping eventually I can find out who i am in christ. With finances so tight I cant buy the book but will try to follow along in your study the best I can w/o it. I’m sure God will fill in the gaps. Thanks for doing an online study & making it free so us struggling can still get gods words…Bless you for your kindness.

That is a hard thing to do during the holidays!! So right now I’m feeling kind of lonely spiritually and emotionally!! I would live to do this book study with you!! Honestly, I think I’m a little bit afraid of having to face my insecurities. Sometimes it’s easier just to pretend that I am an emotionally healthy person when in reality, I know I’m not. God is revealing this to me with gentleness and love…I must get healthy so I can be my best for Him! Please pray for me that I will be consistent, open and honest with myself and with God while going through this study. I pray that my heart and the heart of all the women participating will be softened and prepared to accept what God has to offer…FREEDOM in HIM!

  41. I’ve been struggling with this very thing for years. I did the Doubt Diet and felt God move in a big way in my life. Now, a few weeks later, I’m struggling again. I wonder where is it that God wants me. I want to make an impact for him and believe he’s called me to nurture and help other women, but then I get the doubts and it hits me hard. I have struggled with depression on the way to discovering my calling as well. I think this study is just what I need! I’m excited to do it and I’m thankful that God is using you so much in my life as well as the lives of other women.

  48. I think I really need this. I’ve signed up. Just this morning I had a conversation with my daughter about some of this very stuff. I’m encouraging her to live her life, the very life God gave her and the plan He has just for her, and not compare herself to others. But all while I was trying to impart Godly wisdom, I was really wondering how she could live the way I’m suggesting when her own mama hasn’t lived it for her to see. My heart is heavy with the thought that my daughter will struggle with same of the same things I have struggled with. Looking forward to the study!

    • The words you wrote yesterday mirrored everything in my heart lately. Why at age 50 am I still struggling to know God’s will for my life? Why can’t I just let go and let God? There is one thing I do know. This Bible Study sounds exactly like what I need to get my questions answered and grow a confident heart with God.
