Welcome Encouragement for Today friends. If you found your way to my cyber-home through my P31 devotion, I’m so glad you stopped by! I pray you are sensing God’s pursuit of you today even as you stop by my blog. No matter where you are or what you are going through HE is there with you. Here’s a little something I wanted to share today:


Is there baggage that is weighing your heart down and keeping you from God’s best for your life?

We’ve all felt the weight of loss, the fear of failure and the hurt of negative comments from people in our past or even in our present. It could be someone like a parent who criticizes us, or a friend who rejected us. When we let life’s hard stuff and other’s harsh words sink into our hearts and stay, it can cause us to believe we’re not worth anything.

That kind of insecurity can make us doubt our selves and make us settle for less than God’s best for us.

Are there things that have happen of words people have said to you – or about you – that have crippled your hope in God’s ability to do great things through you?

God wants to send people to help us know and believe what He says about us – instead of all the critical words we’ve listened to for so long.     I am so looking forward to participating in this online study for the second time. This time I am reading the book with a christian counselor so I’m hoping that surrounding myself with God’s heart, your heart, my counselors heart, and the many hearts of your subscribers I will conquer this war within myself.

    I have been following your 7 day doubt diet but have only recieved day 1 and day 3. Is there a place I can go to catch up?

    I am so looking forward to this journey and on-line study as this has been exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have been living in fear and anxiety way too long and I’m ready for change. I want to love more freely and become the true authentic person that I can be and i’m confident that a “confident heart” will help me!

  5. I got an email from Proverbs 31 ministries today about the online Bible study using your” A Confident Heart” book. I read what the book covered, and was literally in tears. It’s like you wrote the book just for me! I would love to join the study, but, unfortunately, due to some recent tragedies, I cannot afford the book right now. So I was wondering if you would be offering the bible study again at a later date? I think this is just what I need, and would love to have the opportunity to participate if you do it again.

  10. I have constantly sold myself short in life because I didn’t think I was worth anything more. That is never God’s will and I suffered from all my poor choices.

  12. Just wanted to say thank you for accidently signing me up for the online bible study. I think God was in charge of that. It’s funny how he knows what we need and when we need it. I’m going to try to obey him and finish this study. I had join an online study of Let it go. I really have enjoyed it gotten slack. Sometimes there’s just not enough time in the day. Thank you again.     This study has found its perfect timing in my life. In the last year, my world has been spinning out to control and the once confidence woman I was, is no where to be found! I’ve already read the first chapter and my heart is starting to feel and hope for the promises of God to take up residence…again.

  16. I had “A Confident Heart” as a sample on my Kindle for several months. I finally purchased it a couple of weeks ago & I think it is the best book investment I have ever made! I heard Renee’s blurb on the radio today & decided to check out the website. I am so excited to be a part of the online study! I am trying to get the Women’s Ministry to offer “A Confident Heart” as part of the Bible Study for next fall.

  20. I got this book on Kindle last month and have already read it but I am so existed to go through it slower this time and join you all in a bible study with it. I am doing the unburdened heart now so this will be just perfect. May GOD bless this study and speak to our hearts as he heals, transforms and uses us for his glory. AMEN!

  21. Our God is so amazing! I have been struggling with past hurts, and unforgiveness more then I wanted to admit. Just yesterday I opened up to my pastor, and she is happy to meet with me. Then I came across this Bible Study! Not by chance. By Divine intervention! Thank You Lord!

    • Have you checked out the unburdened heart bible study? I too have been dealing with past hurts and anger and resentment. GOD is working miracles in my life now though and P31 and all the wonderful women are playing a big part in that. God bless you on your journey.

  22. I have had the book but illness got in the way your last study. I am looking forward to the study. We are just finishing Let Go and Let God. I started blogging but I am afraid of the rejection so I have only posted on Melissa Taylor’s blog hop. I also would like to write. Need the confidence to put myself out there. I still have back pain so I am limited in the time I can sit and write. Blessings…. Diana

    I’m very excited about this study. Tracie Miles spoke at a women’s retreat here 2 weeks ago. She encouraged me in my writing, and said that your book had helped her so much. She said it was the book I should read to help me be confident enough to launch the blog God had been calling me to write. I have started the book and she’s right it’s what I need. Today I launched the blog: http://IAmNotPerfect-Yet.com. I wasn’t scared! Wow! Can’t wait to start the study and see if it gets even better! 🙂
