I’ll go first: I’m 45 and live in North Carolina. In my free time (which I wish I had more of) I love to sit in my backyard and relax or play games with my family. I also love to watch a movie with my husband or as a family, or read a good book.

  1. I am 46 and live in central Illinois in a small farming community right between Bloomington/Normal and Champaign/Urbana. If you blink you may miss us! In my free time I love to take walks and spend time with family and friends. Since it is summer.. I enjoy sunning and resting (with lots of sunscreen on!)

  4. Hi, I am 55 and from eastern North Carolina. In my free time I love, love, love to read. I also enjoying spending time with my children and grandchildren. Love the ocean, however do not get to spend enough time there. That may soon change, as school gets Out for the SUMMER!@

  5. I’m 40 and I currently live in Brussels, Belgium where we are on a 2-year assignment.
    When I have spare time, I like to play with my family, write friends or read a good book with a cup of tea.

  6. I’m from New Jersey. Well, I’ve lived here for over 20 years, but I’m really from Pennsylvania.:-) I’m 48. I love to read, play word games, be in, watch, learn more about nature, and being home with my family.

    I am 25 and I am from Huntsville, AL.

    I enjoy ministry in my free time – Bible studies, cooking schools, health lectures, etc. This used to be my full-time job, but since I can’t do it like that right now … it’s done between multiple jobs & school.

    I also enjoy learning – through the study of God’s Word & other educational avenues.

    • I enjoyed reading down through this community of comments! I am 54 years, 55 in June. Young or old depends on the day. 🙂 I live with my husband of 4 1/2 years in the mountains of SW Colorado. Together we have 7 children and 8 grandchildren with one more due in a few weeks. In my precious few spare moments, I enjoy reading, quilting, walking, watching movies with my husband, and travel.

  9. I am 56 and live in Beaufort, SC. When I have spare time, I enjoy being with others, working in the flower beds, sewing, crafts and being outside enjoying what God has created.

  11. I’m 37. I live in a small town named Kirbyville Texas population 2024, I think at last count. I enjoy being outside in the mornings by myself sitting on the porch reading the Bible. Then when the kids get up, I love spending the day outdoors with them.

  13. I am 49 and live in VA. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my children and my husband and taking walks together. I am excited to soon be a grandmother so I will enjoy spending time with my grandchild.

      My husband works at the Dayton airport. We live in Springfield but want to move closer to Dayton/ Vandalia in the next few years.

  16. I live in North Carolina and just turned 50 this past year. In my free time, I love to read, go to the beach, spend time with my high schooler and college age child and hang with my “peeps”.

  17. I live in Wilmington, NC. I am 44. I enjoy my morning ” God Time”, gardening, cooking, going to the beach with my boys, and learning to sew.

  24. Hi I’m Adrienne, I’m 33, I live in Henderson, nv and am loving this book!!! It is so encouraging and it is ministering to my heart greatly. In my spare time, when I have it which is rare these days..lol. But when I do have spare time it’s with my family and close friends. I love crafting and decorating and love going treasure hunting!!! But most of all and before anything else my most favorite and precious time is with my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

  25. I am living in Okinawa, Japan, right now. I am 41 yrs old and love to make cards and scrapbook, basicly anything with paper. Just started making things from scratch in the kitchen. Today I made english muffins, who knew 🙂

In my spare time i like spending time with my friends and family, reading a good book (haven’t done that in a while though) , listening to music , exercising , Knitting, watching movies and looking up funny pictures and stories (laughing is one of my favorite pass times so i guess it could be included in this list)

    I am from Dayton, ohio. I am 36 as of last Friday. Right now Zumba Zumba and praise the Lord I’m no longer unemployed. I have part-time job and I start tomorrow. After being laid off twice. In addition, they seem very excited to have me on their team. Little anxious but that is good.

  48. Hello everyone. I’m 53, from Knoxvile, TN and in my spare time I love reading and working in my vegetable garden. I love spending time with my family and friends. This Bible study has been such a blessing for me. I have two adult children and have been trying to adjust to our empty nest for 3 years! I am thankful for more time with my husband.

    I live in Honolulu Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. I am 47- I have only four legged children- 3 boys
    1) brown & white Chiahuahua named Bear-Bear (he’s alpha all 4# of him) 2) Diamond blk & wht Chiahuahua / Terrier (he’s my snuggle bug all 10#’s of him) 3) Chance 35# (named him chance because I was giving him a chance to live) he’s white w/ spots (he’s my sweet pea) SO you already know one of my hobbies is spending time with my boys, I also like taking long walks (this is when I spend time with our Father) I love to Stand up Paddle board when I get the chance to get to the beach- Just because I live in paradise… don’t mean I get to live at the beach–we gotta work hard to live in paradise… but when I do get to the beach I also Thank God for all the beauty he created. I also love to read, read, read 🙂 and watch movies- the latest “The Lucky One” and “The Vow” (I liked the books better) “A Joyful Noise”
