I’ll go first: I’m 45 and live in North Carolina. In my free time (which I wish I had more of) I love to sit in my backyard and relax or play games with my family. I also love to watch a movie with my husband or as a family, or read a good book.

  1. Hi everyone. I am 52 years old and live in Manitoba Canada. In my spare time I love to read, knit and spend time with my family and dogs.

  2. I’m from Minnesota.
    Over the weekend my Dad passed away. I got to spend his 2 last days with him. He really couldn’t talk. It was so very, very sad to watch him die. The grief and tears comes in waves. I ask the Lord what I should do. He wasn’t saved. God showed me what I need to say to him. I do believe in his last hours he did get saved. Funeral is tomorrow. Now both Mom and Dad are gone.

    • So sorry for your loss! Know that the Lord is holding you close. He loves you!

    • Debbie, I’m sorry for the loss of your dad. Hang on to the the Lord and what he showed you – let that bring comfort to you, He loves you! May the memories of your dad shared with others also bring you much comfort and healing. I’m also from Minnesota (Bloomington). ~Jodie

    • Debbie, my heart goes out to you, I lost my brother on Easter Sunday, both my parents are gone now too. I don’t know if my brother was saved either, but he talked of the Lord often, I won’t know till the day I go to be with the Lord where he is~~~my hope is he is with everyone in Heaven. Prayers for you that God give you peace and rest in the days ahead.

      I am so sorry. My step-dad passed away Feb 8 and my Mom Feb 26. All I can say is give yourself time to heal and take care of yourself. I’m going to grief counseling offered through hospice and that is helping me. I have several new friends at my Bible study at church that I have cried out to at times. Hang in there!

  3. I am from Alberta, Canada and am 53. I like to spend time with children and grandchildren, read, and bake for family. Reading all the posts is like taking a mini vacation and meeting new friends. God’s blessings, strength, and comfort to all you lovely ladies.

  4. I am 57 years old. I live in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I enjoy sailing with my husband, spending time with my three beautiful daughters. I adore my three grandchildren, so much fun watching them grow. I also enjoy biking, spending time at our camper in North Carolina on the Currituck Sound with great friends.

  6. Hi! I’m from Colorado and I’m 42 (soon to be 43 in June). In my free time I love spending time with my husband and family, friends, laughing, reading, making greeting cards and when I can get having time to myself….

  7. I am 44 years old- I cannot believe how fast time goes by! I live in northern nh in a small one blinking light town. In my free time I like to worship the lord through song and the piano. I also love to spend time with my wonderful family.

  8. I am 43 years old, I live in Petal, Mississippi. In my free time, I enjoy God, family, freinds, walking reading and soaking in the beauty all around me that my Heavenly Father has given. My favorite time is praise and worship in which I am free to express my love back to God.

  9. I am 42 (really?). I live in St. Joseph, MO. (Where the Pony Express began and Jesse James ended).
    In my free time, which, like alot of us, I don’t seem to have much of, I enjoy walking, jogging, bike riding or just chillin on the couch with Jesus. Since my kids are older, 20 & 17, I have been enjoying more time with my husband just doing whatever we can find to do! Our whole family enjoys being outdoors. 🙂

  10. I am from Wausau, Wisconsin and am 45. In my free time I like to read out on the porch or on the back deck if the Wisconsin weather allows!

  11. I am 46 and live in central Illinois in a small farming community right between Bloomington/Normal and Champaign/Urbana. If you blink you may miss us! In my free time I love to take walks and spend time with family and friends. Since it is summer.. I enjoy sunning and resting (with lots of sunscreen on!)

  14. Hi, I am 55 and from eastern North Carolina. In my free time I love, love, love to read. I also enjoying spending time with my children and grandchildren. Love the ocean, however do not get to spend enough time there. That may soon change, as school gets Out for the SUMMER!@

    When I have spare time, I like to play with my family, write friends or read a good book with a cup of tea.

  16. I’m from New Jersey. Well, I’ve lived here for over 20 years, but I’m really from Pennsylvania.:-) I’m 48. I love to read, play word games, be in, watch, learn more about nature, and being home with my family.

    I am 25 and I am from Huntsville, AL.

    I enjoy ministry in my free time – Bible studies, cooking schools, health lectures, etc. This used to be my full-time job, but since I can’t do it like that right now … it’s done between multiple jobs & school.

    I also enjoy learning – through the study of God’s Word & other educational avenues.

    • I enjoyed reading down through this community of comments! I am 54 years, 55 in June. Young or old depends on the day. 🙂 I live with my husband of 4 1/2 years in the mountains of SW Colorado. Together we have 7 children and 8 grandchildren with one more due in a few weeks. In my precious few spare moments, I enjoy reading, quilting, walking, watching movies with my husband, and travel.

  19. I am 56 and live in Beaufort, SC. When I have spare time, I enjoy being with others, working in the flower beds, sewing, crafts and being outside enjoying what God has created.
