I’ll go first: I’m 45 and live in North Carolina. In my free time (which I wish I had more of) I love to sit in my backyard and relax or play games with my family. I also love to watch a movie with my husband or as a family, or read a good book.

  4. Hi, I am from a small town in Manitoba, Canada (pop. barely 2000). I am 41 and enjoy reading pretty much anything with words. I am surprised at how much I have begun to enjoy reading blogs, there are so many put out there by God’s girls which provide much encouragement and inspiration.

      I used to visit my cousins in Winnipeg when I was little. I still remember the zip code – R2G2J7. It was Star Wars like. 🙂

  5. I am from South Carolina. I am 32. I enjoy being with my husband & kids in a relaxed atmosphere!

  6. I live in Mississippi. I am 29 years old. I don’t have much free time but when I do get a little, I love to read, play with my kids, watch movies with my husband, paint, scrapbook, or just whatever comes up.

  7. I am 36 years old, and I live in Flower Mound, TX. I have twin boys that are 6, and they pretty much consume all of my free time! One of my favorite things to do is journal, and when the boys were born, I created journals for each of them where I write to them little love notes, memories, scriptures and prayers. We also love baseball and being outside every chance we get.

  8. I am 44 years old and currently live in Strasburg, Virginia, but spent the majority of my life in Point Pleasant, WVA. In my free time, I enjoy reading and learning about new things.

  9. I am 59 years old and live in beautiful Hobe Sound, Florida. I enjoy Bible studies and cooking is my passion!

  10. I am 33 and live in Pennsylvania. I enjoy spending time with my husband doing almost anything!

  12. I am from Kimberly, Alabama (just north of Birmingham) and I am 58 years old. In my spare time (which like so many is scarce) I like to sit on the deck with my husband and enjoy the nature we have around us, birds, rabbits, dogs, and I love to fish in our pond. In the evenings I love to read blogs of all the followers I have on my blog and others that I follow!

  13. I’m 61 and live in Indiana. If I’m not playing with my grandkids or sitting on the porch with my 89 year-old mother, I’m reading or playing in a flower bed. I also spend a lot of time on the computer looking for a site like yours that is geared to women my age who have no children at home.

  14. I am 42 (will be 43 in July), I live in Eden Prairie, MN. In my spare time I love to read Christian fiction and scrapbook – both traditional (paper) and digital! Hanging out with family is another favorite!!

    I am Cindy from northwestern Virginia (Winchester) I am 53 and I love to cook, yardsale, spend time with family,and read. I also am a volunteer with Soldiers Angels http://www.soldiersangels.org and I love that.

  16. Hi everyone! That was fun to scroll through all the posts to learn a little bit about you all. I’m 60 years old…wife, mom, nana. I’m 9th of 10 children so have lots of extended family most of whom live in the northern Illinois area. I LOVE spending time with my family. I also am blessed with a wonderful church family. I live in St. Charles, IL. In my spare time I love to make quilts and crochet rag rugs.

    Glad to meet y’all
    I live in the mountains of Arizona with my husband and four dogs. I’m 62 and In my free time I volunteer at Circle L Ranch Rescue/Sanctuary. I help socialize dogs and take them to adoption events and do home checks.

    • Christine that is awesome! I love animals and adopted our golden retriever from a rescue in Tennessee! I admire the work that is done on behalf of our four-legged friends!

        Sure wish more people knew about rescues and all the great dogs available. I love hearing about successful adoptions. Keep spreading the word.

      I too think that is great that you volunteer at a rescue! I’m one of those people that sees a possible stray and turns around and tries to catch them. I am only able to catch about one a year. Some have been just a matter of re-connecting them wit their owners. 3 we have fostered and found homes. And we kept 2, 1 a poodle that I found almost 10 years ago and a Pomeranian that I found about 5 years ago. I love all animals, but dogs the most. It’s nice to hear about other animal helpers!
