I’ll go first: I’m 45 and live in North Carolina. In my free time (which I wish I had more of) I love to sit in my backyard and relax or play games with my family. I also love to watch a movie with my husband or as a family, or read a good book.

  7. I am 48 from summerville SC, in my free time ,I injoy running and I love to read…and there nothing like spending time with my family and friends.

  10. I am from South Carolina, The Greenville/ Spartanburg area to be exact. I am 38 years old. I don’t have much spare time as I am the mommy of 4 little ones. The oldest is 4 years old and the baby is 5 months. If I had free time I have a list a mile long that I would love to do such as sewing, reading, knitting, writing, and all manner of things. 🙂

      I know your step-daughter and her Mom. We used to go to Maranatha Baptist church before we moved to Springfield. My daughter Amanda Crichton, knew Tiffany then. But they have not kept in touch. Anyway, not many on here from Ohio. So just wanted to say hi. ~deb

  15. I am 36 (will be 37 in July), from Martinsburg, Pennsylvania. When I manage to get “free time” — which can be difficult with 6 kids ages 5 months to 10 years !– I love to scrapbook all my pictures of special memories and everyday things. I must admit to being a photo addict!!

  16. I’m from Baltimore, Maryland and I just celebrated my 59th birthday. I enjoy water aerobics and line dancing altough I’ve not had much opportunity to line dance since my foot surgery back in January and I am a Hospice volunteer. Also I love singing with my church choir and watching the Hallmark Channel – all of their stories have happy endings!!!

  19. I am 52 and live in Virginia. In my free time I like to read Scripture, theology and Christian non-fiction, do word puzzles and relax with my husband and teenage sons.

  20. I am from Indiana, and I am 40 years old. I enjoy reading, working out (great for stress relief!), listening to praise and worship music, playing games with my kids, relaxing with my hubby. I really love just sitting outdoors, drinking my tea, and enjoying the beauty in the different seasons.

  21. My name is Christie and I live in the great State of Texas! In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking and traveling to different bed and breakfast! This is my “mom” break! I am trying to learn to “rest” more which is very hard!

  22. I am 43 and live in Cedar Rapids, IA. In my free time I like to spend time with my friends and family. During the summer there is nothing better then watching my God Sons play baseball.

  25. Hi, I’m from Illinois and am 54 yrs. old. I like to sit on the patio and enjoy the birds and flowers.
    I enjoy spending time with my family and dog too, also studying God’s Word, participating in Bible studies.
    I used to make quilts and am hoping to do that again soon!

  26. I am 58 and I live in Washington, DC by way of Oklahoma City, OK. I love to do many things! My current favorite things to do are outdoor arts & crafts with my grandsons, to run around the back yard playing with super soakers with my daugher and grandsons (most recently was yesterday afternoon), and to sit on my patio reading and cooking on the grill.

    I am from Colorado!! Soon to be 45 * june* I enjoy spending time with family, jet skiing, making greeting cards. Loving on my dog and my new ducks!!

I love being there and watching our younger son come and go…admiring the man he is becoming. And, then taking a moment to send a text to our oldest son (our Sailor) telling him we love him and miss him.

  47. I’m 34 from Joliet, Illinois and I enjoy reading, writing and running. I thoroughly enjoy time with those I love but I’m learning that being alone doing these three things are what helps me refuel.

    • Hi! I am also from Joliet! I am 32. I love spending time with my two sons (ages 11.5 and 15 months). Most of my time is spent with them these days because my husband is working a lot right now. We are in desperate need of a date night. Right now I really enjoy relaxing in a nice hot bath while reading a good book by candellight.

  48. I am 38, from Ontario, Canada. I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time with friends, volunteering – especially where my kids are involved. I would love to start sewing again… and playing the piano without having to be ‘perfect’!!!

      • I am 54, originally from Pittsburgh, PA but now live in North Carolina. In my free time, I enjoy reading a good book , singing, and also spending time with my family and friends. I would really like to get back to some more quiet time with my husband, we need a date night real soon.

        Thank you for giving me a great big smile! I love that you’ve listed ‘laughing’. Right there with you. I was struggling the other day and told my kids I just need to laugh about something. Long and hard. Everything is more enjoyable when we are laughing. And, I hear it’s good for the abs! 🙂

      • 41 I live in TEXAS.I like to swim with my daughter and take walks and do the confident heart bible study with her too shes a teenager I want her to have a confident heart early in life.

    • I am 62 and live outside of Memphis. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, golfing, and studying the Bible.

      • I also live outside of Memphis in Burlison. I’m 32 and have 5 children (4 boys and the youngest a girl). I love reading, horseback riding, canoeing with my husband, and spending time with my children.

        • I am 49 and live in the Memphis area under the same roof with 2 beautiful red-headed daughters (21 & 16), a gorgeous adopted niece (23), a wonderful mother-in-love, 1 female dog (Whippet), 2 female snakes (yes, you read that right), and one extraordinary, estrogen-immune, God-fearing, mild-tempered, and very loving husband. All we’re missing is the partridge & the pear tree – I don’t have the free time for those!

          When I’m not busy with female drama, I enjoy sitting on my patio with the Lord and His Word, and playing couch-potato tennis (Wii) with my hubby in the evenings.

          Although I’ve lived here all of my life, I’ve never been to “Graceland” – I’m waiting for the true “GRACE LAND!” Am I the only one who is bothered by the fact that Memphis is known for the “blues” instead of for the “joys”? And for the “king of rock-n-roll” instead of for the “King-of-kings”? I find it ironic, but reckon (Southern dialect is Biblical! lol) that it is up to believers to turn that image around.

    • I am 54, live in Winnipeg, Canada, and in my spare time I love to read one of my many waiting Christian-help books, or humorous Christian books, with some of my flavored organic coffee substitute. An added bonus would be “in a hammock”. There is one I spotted on a walk in my neigborhood – perhaps one day I will work up the courage to knock on the door and ask if I could boorow it for a couple of hours!
