The more we grasp God’s love for us, and let Him really love us, the more confident and secure we become. Living loved changes everything. When we live LOVED, we don’t have to earn love. We simply ARE loved.

I am blessed to be a part of your personal journey. Thank you for sharing your most intimate thoughts and struggles. May these words of wisdom help to encourage me to be not only the woman that I need to be but to also be the sister in Christ, wife and mother that I long to be.
Thank you is not enough.
I’ve already read the book and loved it and want to go back through it again and the devotional would be wonderful to go through. I would love to give it to a friend of mine while she recovers from a really difficult year.
Thank you so much for your encouragement!
I have purchased this book but have not read it yet. I would love the devotion to go along with it. I am in the middle of a couple studies now but can’t wait to start on A Confident Heart because I have always lacked confidence. I would love a copy for my best friend who had to move far away from me and has mentioned wanting to read it as well. Maybe we could do a long distance study together.
Thanks so much for all you do!
Just from reading your short post on the devotional I realized how much this could help me in my walk with the Lord. so much going on in my life that needs to let God take over and do the work He desires in me through my trials. Instead of always asking “why” as my husband and I do, we need to change our focus and hear Him minister to us through the trials. blessings and thanks for sharing your heart and the heart of God.
I am already 52 and still feel less than who the Word says I am. I look forward to being around godly women but then I feel worse about myself for days because after I get home I examine what I said or shared in prayer request or my lack of spiritual maturity or a thousand other things. It gets to the point that I am hesitant to continue to go to Bible studies or ladies’ gatherings. Isolation seems enticing. That is why I would read your book. I would give the other one to a lady I know that just went through an ugly divorce and is feeling pretty rejected about now. Thank you.
I have a precious friend who suffers with low self esteem.
What a blessing your book would be to her.
thanks for the reminder and help to get this right. I also loved the book “A Confident Hear” I downloaded it for my kindle so I will have it for a long time. Really enjoyed the study as well. t#letGodLoveYou, #AConfidentHeart, #Devotional
Thank you so much for helping us all to remember that God loves us BIG! I so needed to hear that today! My best friend is going through the hardest of times with her husband who has just had a stroke and my heart breaks for her and her family. I would so much love to share the message of Gods love with her!
After battling a year of cancer with my husband and the drugs and alcoholism with my son and awaiting hearing for my son, it’s been a total trial and tribulations thing for me. After losing both if my parents at such a young age I often times wonder that simple often asked question of “WHY?” Me and over and over it seems like the simple little road in life gets rougher.
Just when you want a break in that tunnel, it seems as if
Something yet stumbles along, and that’s when
I ask myself WHY me again, is it worth it going through this again?!
I desire to live in holy confidence because of humble dependence on God. I’m encouraging a young mom who needs encouragement. She would love the “when I say/God says” encouragement.
I do not have a website yet, but I do have a Pinterest Board. I love all that you do and teach, thank you and God bless you too.
Hi. My beautiful 4 year old son was diagnosed a month ago with type one diabetes and while this is a very treatable disease my husband and I can not help but grieve for the lost innocence of just being able to be a child and run and eat and play. He now gets poked 6-8 times a day and insulin shots 6 times a day as well. Thankfully we have our faith and know that our God is a mighty God and that our Ethan sits in the palm of His hand. On the other hand I turned 40 this year and had my first mammogram. They have found something questionable so I am going in for a biopsy of my left breast next week. I just keep repeating Isaiah 41:10 over and over again…my mantra. I could use some encouragement so the book would be a blessing.
The 2nd copy would go to my sweet mother who loves the Lord and could use some encouragement as well.
I have spent the last two years of my life learning to walk away from the question of “why” in my life and accept that God knows the why; I only need to follow. Each day my mantra is “your will not mine”. As God is my witness I will follow his lead and let go of my own imagined needs. My days are filled with gratitude; my patience with life and the people of whom I interact has taken on a life of its own and I feel empowered each and every day. The hardest part of loving God is understanding what it means to stand in complete faith; I struggle with it everyday. Having complete faith is like jumping out of an airplane, you have to have faith that your skills and training will ensure that the chute will open correctly and take you safely to the ground. With God you have to have the faith in his word that everything he has promised he will fulfill; albeit not necessarily the way you, yourself, would have envisioned it. Hence the necessity for an open mind. May God bless your day as he has mine.
I am a homeschooling mom of 3 kids and a new baby. We live in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil for my husband’s job assignment. We miss our church friends and family in the US. We have been unable to find an English speaking church home in the year we have been here. We are moving back to the US in 5 months.
I am struggling spiritually and emotionally because of this. We do attend a Portuguese speaking church monthly but my husband and I are not getting fed like we were.
If I win I will share the other copy with my bestie in the US who is also a homeschool mom. She is an awesome mom/wife who has always put everyone before herself. Her family lived with her mom and grandparents for years to help them out with the grandparents care all the while her husband worked 2 jobs and went to school and she was homeschooling her kids. When we moved to Brazil they rented our home. I love the fact that my best friend could live in our home. What a blessing for thier family of 7 to be independent for the first time in over 4 years.
Renee, I posted on your blog on Feb 5, and Lost Butnothopeless posted after me asking some questions. I answered but haven’t herd anymore. Just wanted to make sure she got the help she needed. I would share one with my future daughter in law
I’ll try to find that post and let you know. 🙂 Thanks for checking. That is very thoughtful of you!!
Renee, I can’t wait to get your devotional. I love the way you speak about God’s unfailing love. Through your words you really bring a clear connection to Him. Love you!!!
That is my heart’s desire Halona. Thank you for the gift of your words!
This is awesome. I am working with someone now that needs to know she is loved and I will share this with her.
You are so thoughtful! I hope this will be an encouragement to her too!
