Renee, it is such a blessing to go through your book over and over. It always speaks something new to me and the videos and study guides help bring your message home. God is always working in us–we just need to be still and listen and process and allow his healing in!!!
I am so thankful to have another opportunity to go thru this book again…I. gained so much from my first book study and need to hear this message again!

I originally bought your book last year, and have been side-tracked for a long time. Actually I think it is a deliberate attack from my enemy to keep me from reading it. Have viewed all three sessions and am looking forward to more. Question: Is this the study or is the study still to come? I really want to do a more in-depth study and then to share it with other women in a small group setting. So winning the DVD would be AWESOME!!! Or maybe starting a small group of women and doing the study is just the kick-in-the-pants I need to get going. And it is definitely the kick-out-of-my-life that I need to give to my enemy! I even started my own blog last year and wrote a piece on Rejection. Thank you for your book. Are you sure you didn’t write it for me?
This hit home with me about what we look to to fill us up looking for approval. I’m dealing with this right now and I needed to hear this today.
Thanks Renee! This is such a great reminder to go directly to our God to help us find what our hearts need- what we are looking for in our life. It’s usually more of Him! He does satisfy our every need!

I heard you at She Speaks years ago. You are so precious. I loved your reference to the scripture in Proverbs. I wish I had seen this visual before I spoke at a recent teen conference! Very helpful information, and such an appropriate message for women to hear.

I love the videos about the book. I am really looking forward to doing the online study with the proverbs 31 group and being about to refer back to my notes will be great! Renee did a great job on illustrating how we fill our lives up with so many things, when all we need is God, so we can be satisfied with him and able to do His Will.

Amen sweet friend. It helps me so much to be still, quiet my heart and journal my thoughts with Him. And then to read a devotion that reminds me of His assurance and love. Many days that is what going to the well of His love looks like for me.

I have loved this video series. Thank You ! I want so much to be filled with my heavenly father. I long to feel satisfied and content. How do we keep the FULL feeling ? There are alot of times when dealing with everyday stuff that i forget to turn to my father. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed that i may bust if I try to fill one more space. I can not wait to start the online study.

Renee: This video really spoke to me, as has your book. This is so important for us today as we are facing more and more attacks from the culture. Our young women are being indoctrinated by an anti-God, superficial, material, agenda that will only leave them miserable and unable to fill the God-shaped hole in their hearts. Your book is such a breath of fresh air that can empower us to go out and help the younger generation fight the spiritual attacks, as God calls us to in Scripture. I hope to use your book and videos to help women in crisis seek the only Truth that will set them free.

I am ready for another go around with Confident Heart. Why is this so hard to get through my thick “heart”. I know it, but I just can’t practice it consistently. “consistency” that is the key….

I am right there with you friend. But don’t be too hard on yourself. 🙂
We’ve lived for years and years believing lies and doubts about ourselves. So it’s going to take time for all these new truths to change us from the head to our heart – more than not just one or two reads through the book. For me, Im seeing progress but also realizing it’s a lifelong journey – yet one that has been so worth working through these past 3 years!!
I think the key is to keep going back to the message of a Confident Heart and asking Jesus to speak to us again and again.
To show us what doubts we’ve stepped back into believe and what truths we need to take hold of each day – each moment – so that we can keep being transformed by His truth.
Remember the bathroom light and shadow story in ch 1 and 5 – and how we learned that it’s not about trying harder, but turning sooner when we recognize our self-doubts?
Praying for you, and right there in process with you and Jesus!! Love that we’re in this together!

Good Morning:
It is so good to have a “refresher” on A Confident Heart. Hearing you on the show this morning just gives me a reminder that the Lord, loves me and has His plans already layed out for me – all I need to do is be ready to stand still and listen.
The reminder of Proverbs 19:22, is my verse for today.
The empty jar example is so true and has helped me to remember to fill my jar with things and people that mean the most to help them and me in my walk with the LORD.
