I would love to win this prize so that i may participate in your Monday night Bible Study and possibly share it with my neighbors. I love Lysa's books and personally feel "stuck" in my Bible Study – like I just do it to check it off my "to do" list. I feel like the person that said sometimes they feel really clsoe to and in tune with God and other times they feel like they couldn't be further away from God. right now I feel in the far away valley and I would love to win this so the Bible study group I particpate in can use it to collectivly become what God is calling us too. We are just finishing up Beth Moore's study on the book of Daniel and it has been awsome! Would be great to follow it up with this one! 🙂

I feel that God wants me to lead a women's Bible Study…my spiritual gift being wisdom and my passion being seeing the Christian growth of young women around my age (23). I'm getting married in May, moving to Syracuse, NY with my husband, and likely being a stay-at-home wife. I'm excited about meeting new women in that area and starting a Bible Study group in our home.
I think this book and DVD would be a great way for me to get started!
I want this because my "One Thing" to accomplish this year is a more personal relationship with Christ that I am accomplishing by being in God's word every day!!!! I have gone "through the motions" for a long time, but I truly want a close relationship with Christ!

I would LOVE to have a copy of Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl. This offer has come at a time when I have a huge burden for the young women in our church who float around on the fringes. Just yesterday I decided I needed to have regular 'Gal's breakfasts' to encourage and teach them. I was thinking about WHAT I wanted to help them with when I found out about this…help with how to teach prayer, Bible study and authenticity as well as coping with life's struggles and finding joy in the process. Lysa, this is SO inspired!
To know God intimately, the real true God is my desire I set this as my 2009 life focus- I still strive and struggle in this area- so this year I am seeking all the guidance available to me, this book sound as if it would be a great help to me in this Journey of Intimacy with God. Why do I want to win? Because I want to share this book/DVD series with the beautiful ladies that I've been in Bible study with for the last two years. Some of our studies have been great and some not so great but I believe we have all glorified God in our desire to know more about Him. What would be better than going through this study with these ladies to learn how we can take our time with Jesus to the next level. *sigh*
I would love to have victory over everyday life. It is so easy to let the fruit of the spirit blow out the window on the way home from church… I want to glorify God everyday, even when I'm tired, cranky, stressed, and out of patience. I have not considered myself to be 'a woman after God's own heart' nor the wife and mother that I ought to be according to God's word. It is too often that I do the things that I do not want to do. Often I fail and even become complacent…but my heart's desire is to be more like Jesus – sold out – advancing His kingdom. Not a hypocrite or a Pharisee, but a true witness in every way for Jesus!
I have been on the milk way too long and sadly I admit that ought to be further along…but oh that is my desire.
Anything that would help and encourage me in my walk with Christ would be a blessing. Thank you for what you make available to all us women!

I read Lysa's book and LOVE it. God has been nudging me for a while to do this Bible study with a group of friends. Over the last 2 weeks he has made it clear this is something he wants me to do this summer. I would love to win the DVD so our group can use it for our study. I am excited about going through the study with you on your blog! It will help me as I prepare to lead my first Bible study completely on my own.
i so desperatly want to find god in my life one minute i feel he's there and then the next i feel lost, forgotten & forsaken by him.i was going to church but i just didn't fit in i never felt good enough or christian enough. when i went to the womens bible study class i have never felt so out of place and scared it was high school all over again on the outside of all the cool people looking in. if i won this maybe i could get the knowledge and feel confidante to go back to church and show them that just like the bible teaches i am good enough and if i didn't fit in with them i would still have the confidence to know i fit in with god and he's all that matters. i want that knowledge thats why i would like to win.
Although I have the best, most supportative family, I feel all alone. Although my husband has a decent job, I feel lost as what my job/career should be to help support our family. I just can't find my way, I don't know how to find my way….. I feel alone.
