I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for creative and affordable Christmas gift ideas for teachers and co-workers, and I love it when I find one that keeps Christ at the center of Christmas.
Several years ago, my friend Tracie share the cutest idea using the word COCOA written on a gift tag and tied to a Christmas mug. It went something like this:
C is for CHRIST, the reason for Christmas!
O is for ORNAMENTS that decorate our tree and remind us to decorate our hearts and homes with God’s love.
C is for CELEBRATE as we give gifts and remember all God has given us.
O is for OVERJOYED! Instead of letting our hearts feel overwhelmed with the busy season, let’s choose to be overjoyed with the facts that Jesus was born.
A is to remind us that in the ABUNDANCE of holiday activities what we really need is the abundant life Jesus offers through a relationship with Him.
