Confident, Strong & Free: It’s closer than you think!

We’re celebrating the release of my NEW Confident Heart Devotional book!

  • If you’re ready to live the life of faith God’s designed for you and become all He’s created you to be, this book is for you!
  • If you have read the book but need daily encouragement to refresh your heart and continue in your confident heart journey, this book is for you.
  • If you’re looking for a gift of enoucragement to give a friend who needs to know about God’s unfailing love and grace, this book  is the perfect gift.
  • If you know someone who has walked away from God, this book is for them.

Here’s a peek inside:

“I can’t do it all! I am not cut out to be a wife, a mom, a daughter, a speaker, a writer and all the other things God has called me to.”  I had barely opened my eyes, yet I already felt beat up by feelings of inadequacy. My thoughts were against me, and my feelings were too. About that time, my radio alarm came on and my thoughts were interrupted by Twila Paris. With confident assurance, she sang truth to my soul, telling me it was not a time for fear, but a time for faith and determination. She challenged me not to lose my vision or be carried away by my emotions, but to hold on to all that I had hidden in my heart, and all I believed to be true. Then she reminded me of the most important truth of all: God is in control.1 As my thoughts aligned with God’s truth, my whole perspective changed. I went from feeling afraid to feeling determined, from feeling out of control to knowing God is in control.

Every day we have a choice – to either to let doubt beat us up or to let God’s truth build us up.

In the same way a radio has AM and FM frequencies, our thoughts do too. They are either AM (against me) or FM (for me) thoughts. Honestly, we are often our worst critics and have a lot of AM thoughts. And if our thoughts are against us, our feelings will be too. The next time you get feelings of inadequacy, stop and identify what you are thinking that is making you feel that way. Then compare your thoughts to God’s thoughts found in the Bible. Do they match? If not, find a promise in God’s Word to replace the lie that has filled your heart with doubt and start thinking about that promise. Even say it out loud and pray the words, asking God to make them true for you in that moment.

For instance, when doubt comes against you, telling you that you’re weak and all alone, focus on the truth that God is for you! You can be strong and courageous because the Lord your God is with you. He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6, NIV)

Then why not turn that truth into a prayer – claiming  how much God is for you: God I’m so thankful You are for me. Because You are for me and with me, I can be strong and courageous in this situation. You promise You will never leave me nor forsake me. I’m choosing to think Your words that are for me instead of listening to the doubts that so easily come against me. You have full access to God’s power and His promises to live with a confident heart. But it won’t just happen because it’s possible. You have to take action! Just like I tuned into a Christian music station the night before, let’s be intentional about tuning our thoughts into God’s thoughts toward us, today and every day! Lord, help me remember today that You are with me to fight for me against my enemies of insecurity and feelings of inadequacy. In all these things, I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

When I say: Everything and everyone is against me. God says: I am for you! “What, then, shall [you] say in response to these things? If God is for [you], who can be against [you]?” Romans 8:31 (NIV)

  6. Tiffany Green says:

I have been doing Proverbs31 Online Study for a couple of years now and through it God has been changing me. At times it been a hard journey but God is so faithful. Thank you for allowing God to use you in such a way to encourage others. The Quote at the top of the page is so true in my life – “Don’t allow your circumstances to speak louder than God’s word.” My Husband and I just moved to a new community because of my first big job out of college and are trying to seek a church community to be apart of and fellowship with. More lately than ever I needed to be reminded to turn my thoughts towards God which seem to be my biggest struggle and not dwell on my circumstances at the time. Since our move I have been struggling with anxiety and praise God for all he does – I finally found a doctor who is willing to help me with the medicines I have been struggling with for about over 5 years – but I know my mind is more of a battle for me at least than the medications. Thank you again for writing this book I hope to read it. I pray and know it will encourage so many people. 🙂

    • Tiffany – Congrats on your new job! I will pray for you and your husband as you seek the Lord for a church home to be apart of and for the anxiety. Keep renewing your mind with His Word and Praises!! This scripture helps me – Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
      Be Inspired!

    • This is encouraging, Tiffany!

    • Tiffany– through reading ACH I found the courage to get help for depression & anxiety. I started meds & professional counseling & am a completely different woman than I was 3 years ago. I am filled with so much hope & excitement over my today & tomorrows even though my circumstances have not changed–God has changed me! I pray He continues to lead you along a healing path. He is faithful to give grace to the humble… I’m so glad you are getting the help you need. Keep gathering here with us on the blog and please let me know how you are doing 😀 Prayers for you, sweet girl.

  7. Kathleen mills says:

I can’t wait to get this book! It will have to wait for a little cash in pocket, but it is on my must have list. I find my self in my late 40’s feeling like I can’t handle anything! Where is that confident, “I can handle anything” (and did,) woman I used to be in my 20’s and 30’s? Having had my sweet children later in life, I am in the midst of middle school challenges, and I struggle to keep up with running the household, work and family life. Trying to pray my way through it,

    • Constance says:

Just wanted you to know……………you are not alone. You have God, what few or many friends and family, and the knowledge that at the least I am just like you. Our children are the same age, we are the same age, and I too struggle with household, homework, sports, family life, and I own a business. And I do not know how to say “no” to the church, PTA, sports association, and whatever other community service bites at my heals. I will add you to my prayer list for the next month. I feel your struggles. Love from an unknown sister, Constance

    • Girl–I’m right there with ya!! I’ve learned to let a few of my kids’ moms into my circle & can call on them for help… I pray you find girlfriends to give you a hand. “God is an ever present help in time of need.” Ps 46:1

    • Hello Kathleen,
Aparently you have touched a sore spot in the lives of many women. You are not a lone, my dear. But we have help from God almighty…

    • Hello Kathleen, Constance and Lisa et al,
Kathleen, you are so not alone. I am old enough to be my kids’ grandmother! I was 39 when I married my wonderful husband and he was 34. I suffered a terrible elevator accident, postponing our attempts to have children. After that, plus 2 miscarriages, I gave birth to our son who was born with Down Syndrome. I turned 44 just 3 weeks later. He is 17 1/2 now. We then adopted our daughter from Romania. She is 15 1/2. I am 61 now. See what I mean?
Anyway, I work full time as a nurse. My husband has a business and travels a bit, my daughter was recently admitted to a psych ward for 10 days and is possibly pre-bipolar. I recently completed 5 months of chemo therapy and am now in radiation treatment for 7 weeks; for breast cancer. I used to believe I could do just about anything. I now know I can not and yet am experiencing such grace from God that I think this has all worked together to draw me closer to Him. Here is what I struggle with and this is the reason I think I need to add this book to my exhaustive “To Do” list; I have been questioning God and last week even had a brief period of being angry with Him. How can He heap all of this on me at once? I am wondering now if He had to crush my own belief that I can do so much on my own. Nevertheless I want to have the complete confidence that I can meet all of these demands and glorify Him with my attitude and with the God Glorious outcomes that He will produce in His time.
Well, sisters, have a blessed day! Isn’t God’s gift of fellowship so wonderful?
      The other Kathleen

      • Hang in there Kathleen,

I am a breast cancer survivor myself. I know much of what you’re feeling. God understands our anger and shock over such a diagnosis. He will be there for you however through all of your treatments. Even when we are angry He understands and forgives us. God has great plans for you! Don’t despair. He’ll be walking right next to you through this difficult time and you’ll come out stronger because of it.

      • Kathleen,
I pray you get your hands on a copy of the book devotional and place all of your confidence in your King! Thank you for sharing your story!

        Renee Swope’s Ministry Team

  8. Would love to read this book! My confidence has definitely been shaken as I have struggled with anxiety lately about everything. I just keep praying for God’s guidance in my life. Thanks for writing this book.

    • I have passed through some very difficult anxiety myself this past year…now I am just combating the fear. Be confident with baby steps. Walk by faith and not by sight! I am on the upswing! I don’t know you, but you are on my prayer list now! Smiles, hugs, peace.

    • Hello Michelle,
I wish you happiness, peace and love!

    • Hi Michelle Sorry, but there with you and prayers and peace your way!

I have been thru a lot in the past 2 years being diagnosed with several different diseases and having to have joint replacements. I struggle with my Confidence level because I am only 50 years old! My mind wants to do so much but my body is not cooperating and I am blessed with 3 Sons, Daughter-In-laws, 8 Grand Children and 1 on the way and I want to be a positive influence in all their lives! I would love to have the devotional to add to my morning quiet time & Bible study!!!

  59. Jessica Lambert says:

I am doing the online bible study now with P31OBS and I would love this devotion book to go along with it! It is a daily battle and struggle to remain confident and not let the enemy steal our joy and confidence! This devotional would be essential in helping maintain the right attitiude!

  60. Brenda Yohman says:

I’m unable to buy the book right now but am excited to be entered in the drawing to perhaps win one. I just can’t get enough of your Proverbs 31 encouragements and the other ladies there. So I imagine the book would be like the jackpot of encouragement. Thank you
    Stay Well

  61. I would love this devotional – I am enjoying the Confident Heart OBS and this would really help me keep the truths that I learn fresh in my mind. I need to study more about who I am in Christ and how confident I can be of His unfailing love. Thanks you and God Bless

  62. Rita Scott says:

This book looks like the thing I need to help me in gaining confidence with God’s help. Thanks for what you do in helping others.

  63. Stephanie burr says:

I don’t know where I opened a door to fear in my life. I have struggled with it for many years and knowing I serve a one true living God that can take that away. Once you allow or unknowing allow that in your life it’s not alone. Many other things seem to come with it. Like doubt, anxiety. I get fed up with it and just want it to go away. When I opened my email this morning and seen this and read it, I thought maybe this would help. I do know the truth always sets is free.

  64. Donna Graham says:

I am enjoying the OBS A Confident Heart…I read the first two chapters that were given online..and very uplifting. I would realy love to win the 2 copies…because due to job loss I am not able to buy the book. And when I get 2 copies I will definitely pass one on to a friend or my daughter. She is trying to pick herself up from a bad relationship and can use the encouragement. I look forward to the next OBS . Thank you..Donna

  65. I am blessed daily with Proverbs 31 devotions. I truly strive to be a Proverbs 31 woman and share God’s love through my words and actions. Unfortunately, it is fear and doubt that I find often prevent me from being the woman God created and desires me to be. I am excited and encouraged about your new book, A Confident Heart! Can’t wait to read the devotionals and am praying God’s blessing on all those who read it. May each one feel his presence read these devotionals and and grow a heart of confidence through Christ Jesus.

  66. Marisa Gonzalez says:

The sentence from “a peak inside” of the book is me! I would love to win the new book. My sister in law sent me the link to Proverbs 31 knowing I was and still am going through difficult times. Most days I feel defeated with the issues going on in my family but, the little glimpse I get once in awhile reminds me God has a plan, remain hopeful and confident that God is in control. Thank you for the blessing of Proverbs 31, most of them seem written directly for me. Thank you for the chance of winning the book, the Skype session and other give always.

    • Marisa,
Having “A Confident Heart” in Jesus will help you through the tough times in life. The first time I read this book in 2011, I had no idea God was preparing my heart for the tough times I’d face in 2013. Applying what God has Renee teach in her book has given me a heart completely confident in Jesus!

  67. Brenda McB says:

I lead a bible study at our inner city outreach. We are in the midst of teaching them to attack fear with truth. To be able to teach them about rising above their dire circumstance through the power and confidence in Christ would give all of us a tool to use toward finding a joyful life. Would love to have your book to lead us forward.

  68. Christine says:

Feelings of inadequacy?!?! Do I ever struggle with that! The Lord has turned my life upside down since accepting Christ Jan. 21, 2008. I’m out of a horrible marriage to an unbeliever who was abusive to me and our daughter. I don’t want to get remarried because then I will have to face my feelings of inadequacy as a wife, and I’m not ready to deal with that. I’m following Christ as hard as I can, all the while thinking that there’s no way I can accomplish the things I’m reaching for. I work full time in a secular job, I’m in seminary (taking 3 classes), working on my biblical counseling certification, raising/supporting a college student, caring for my mother who is battling skin cancer (headed to required plastic surgery as soon as they can get her an appointment), caring for my neighbor’s sick dog while they’re out of town, working in the church college ministry, counseling three women who have lost their focus on Christ, and counseling college girls on-the-fly as i talk with them I’m totally inadequate except for the grace of God (now if I could just emblazon that on my heart…which is where the devotional will help). I occasionally stop and look at my life, wondering why on earth I thought I could accomplish any of this, and maybe I will fail at all of it, like I’ve failed at so much. This book might also be a great resource for the women I counsel!

    • Christine,

Praying for God to come alongside you and encourage and strengthen you as move closer and closer to His heart.

  69. Julia Sutherlin says:

I have always lacked self-confidence in my personal life (never has been a problem for me professionally, though). Now that I’m a mom of 3 kids under the age of 5 and a wife of 5 years, doubt about my capability to actually be the wife and mom that they need me to be is, well, raging in my head. I know this book could be helpful, and having a friend share in the devotions with me as an accountability partner would be even more beneficial.

  70. Shelly S. Cantrell says:

I am going through the Confident Heart book for the 4th time now with P31’s OBS and I’m wondering if the Devo and/or DVD would help it sink in more. 🙂

I keep having to re-read b/c I’m not “getting it” yet. Please pray for me. 🙂 And please enter me for the drawing for a chance to see if the devo/DVD will help. 🙂

  71. I want to win because I think this devotional will improve my walk with God

  72. I would love to win the devotionals. I need to be better about my quiet time and having a friend do it with me would give accountability.

  73. Love to have this!

  74. Lillian Williams says:

I’ve been reading the devotional what happens when women say yes to God. I love it and have always struggled with confidence and my confidence and trust in God and would love the book and an opportunity to study this further and improve my trust in God. About a year ago I applied to six graduate schools and had every intention of attending school. I prayed and prayed and did all I needed to apply, but was denied by every single school. I was shocked and confused about God’s plan for my life and why it wasn’t working out the way I thought. I moved home and started working and was encouraged to get involved in my church and spoke twice in my church, up front for the sermon. It was a humbling experience where I spoke about my doubt and my need yo trust in God and have my confidence in him. Its still something I struggle with but something I am working on daily, and would love this deviotonal book as a way to help guide me on my path with the Lord. God is good!

    • Lillian,
The “A Confident Heart” book and devotional would make a great impact on your heart and life! Thanks for sharing your heartache and how God is using you.

  75. Meighn Sanchez says:

I’m looking forward to this devotional!

  76. Pam Mowrer says:

I would love to win this devotional book for myself and my daughter. We have done some of the other online studies and have really enjoyed them and grown with them. My daughter is the mother of five girls under the age of 11 with another baby due in March. These types of books really help both of us with our daily walk with Christ.

    • I love that you and your daughter are connecting in such a way that will benefit generations to come! A Confident Heart is exactly what your legacy needs added to it! 🙂

  77. Rachael Trotter says:

I would love to win a Confident Heart devotional! I struggle with confidence and am in need of a devotional.

  78. I would love to receive to a copy of your devotional as well as one for a friend. I am going through a rocky marriage right now and every bit of encouragement helps. Somedays are better than others. I don’t feel so confident especially when my husband says and does things that makes me wonder if he ever loved me. It is a hard pill to swallow. I look forward to receiving the devotional one way or another. Thank you and please pray for me that I hold on to the promises of God.

  79. In such need of this book and the inspiration within it’s pages. Have truly enjoyed my daily dose of Proverbs 31 and would really like to do something more. Thanks!

  80. Confident Heart has helped me so much so wanted to purchase the devotional book but it is sold out so trying to win a copy. Wanted the devotional book to continue my journey for a “Confident Heart”!

  81. I would love to receive this book; even just the title intrigues me. I suffer from feelings of insecurities and low self worth; I have a lot of fear that I don’t or won’t measure up to others expectations. I am a Pastor’s kid and from when I was little was always under the watchful eye of congregation and always feeling like I could not do anything and that I could not even make my own mistakes lest my father be taken to task. I have struggled all my life with fears and self doubt and most likely robbed myself of many a blessing. I am so ready for change and to find confidence.

  82. I am finding myself a single mother of two terrific children but starting all over. I find myself struggling with insecurities and doubt daily. Am I doing all I can? How can I do this alone? I would love a Godly daily reminder that I am not all alone, that he is with me through each day, each minute, each second. That there is power in just his name. Thanks for the oppurtunity to enter this contest. It would be a blessing to me right now in my life.

  83. After being divorced for 3 years and straying from my faith, I feel God trying to lead me back to Him. I need to learn to change my doubts and negative thinking and begin to lean on my faith and God again.

  84. I would love to win a copy for myself and a friend because I’m entering a new season of my life and want to deepen my reliance on my faith.

  85. Kelly Moore says:

I don’t have either book yet. Been wanting to get them but can’t afford them right now. Everything I have read about this book is so inspiring.

  86. ReShonda Powell says:

This sounds like an excellent devotional and I would love to have it to open my heart to be confident. Thanks!

  87. I’ve done the online study. What I find is that it so easy to forget the truth and get stuck in self doubt, again. The daily devotional would be a great way to get me jump started again. And I’d love to share it with the women in my small group as well.

  88. When I thought about signing up for this study, I looked at all the material and I was thinking to myself well maybe I shouldn’t sign up for this one because I don’t have a problem with Confidence but I have so enjoyed the Prob. 31 studies so I bought the book and signed up and now I see I do have a problem with confidence this study has opened my eyes to the fact that I am a people pleaser and it is because of lack of Confidence. Thanks Renee I love the study!

  89. sandy ellinger says:

I have been moving farther and farther away from God even though I am trying to get closer. My thoughts and emotions are always beating me down (of course I let them). There is a lovely lady at my church that has been encouraging me (as she has gone thru a lot of the same emotions and pain that I have. I would love to have a book for the both of us and possibly have a study time together to reach a closeness to God that we so desire to experience.

  90. My reason for entering sounds selfish: I have failed to pass a state board exam twice now, and the parts of the exam that I’m struggling with are practical portions. They require me to be confident, knowledgeable, and professional. I have discovered at 50+ that I have test anxiety for oral exams-and this from a woman who is never at a loss for words. Ironic? Perhaps. Or maybe even though I know without a doubt that God brought me to this new career, reached me in a despairing time of my life with this opportunity to help others, maybe, just maybe, I leaned too much on me and not enough on HIM.

So I’ll be picking up this devotional and using it to help me remember to lean on HIM and not my own understanding.

    Anna W

    • That’s beautiful Anna! Once you house “A Confident Heart”, God will blow your mind at how and where He uses you! Prayer said for you sweet sister!

  91. Sandra Pruitt says:

I would really like the book. I do not have a computer at home and cannot stay after work to study on the work computer. Finances are very strapped for only the basic necessities. But I do love the Encouraging devotionals each morning when I come in. More times than I can tell they have been right on target for what I needed to get thru that day. So thank you very much for each day of encouraging and teaching words from God.

  92. In our world today we definitely need reminded that God is for us. Thank you for your encouragement to constantly turn our thoughts toward God. I would love to share this book with my daughter who is struggling with anxiety. Blessings!

  93. Jessica Davis says:

I am looking for ways to connect with God on a more intimate level and to let go of the fear I have a me control. I would love a copy of this devotional to begin my journey.

  94. I have experienced about a year of the wonderful life when I accepted Jesus and I spent that time basking in it and learning from others. Now, it is my turn to learn and keeping learning from the Bible…but that’s a hard one to tackle. 🙂 This book seems like a great way to start learning the messages from the Bible while integrating them into my life as a mom of young kids.

  95. looking for a new devotional -can hardly wait

  96. I have a young girl I’m mentoring that doesnt know Jesus. This would be a fantastic resource

  97. Having started week two of the OBS with Renee’s book, I have seen the change in my life through not only Him, but through this amazing book as well. I would love to with the accompanying devotional book to assist in my journey even farther!

  98. Jeffery Lynn Denton says:

I enjoy and get a blessing from reading the devotions every day! Even when your 59 years old you are still growing in the Lord everyday and will continue until The Lord Jesus comes for us! I have a friend who is a new Christian and she struggles with confidence in The Lord I would love to share with her! Thank you! God bless!

  105. I’m excited about this book to connect with God on a daily level and grow spiritually! To be inspired and develop a deeper relationship with our heavenly father. A Confident Heart is what I strive to reach.

  106. Kristin Dahl says:

My mom and I are doing this devotional together. I would be lovely to have the DVDs and actually watch and discuss the topics with each other and if we had another book my sister could join us as well.

  107. Hello,

I would be so grateful to receive your book. I have suffered enormous loss in the past year and a half.
Long story short, I lost my mother and 5 days later lost my 26 year old daughter in a very tragic accident.
The accident happened early in the morning of my moms funeral, therefore I was not able to attend her funeral……and this happened in AZ so my husband and son and I felt very isolated from all our friends in
My beautiful daughter had brought us to a church we just love and it’s because of her that we are now closer
To God than ever before. Yet I still want to grow in my faith and discover Gods plan for me.

I have a lifelong friend who lost her father recently and have been trying to be there for her ad wel

I know in my heart that we could both benefit greatly from your book.

Thank you so much and God bless!

    Christen Ryan
    Matthews. NC

    • I’m so sorry for your tremendous loss. May God use the “A Confident Heart” book and devotional to rise up a woman of God-fidence as Renee calls confidence in God.

  108. I would live to win this devotional as I believe it will bless my life!

  109. I have a teen girl (and several others) but reading isn’t really her thing. I think this devotional would be so helpful in getting her into her Bible and be a great one to do together. I would love for her to help me mentor and go through it again with my other daughters! I’m so thankful for the Proverbs 31 Ministries! 🙂

  110. I am so excited about this devotional! I have been following the book on radio stations and online and the sessions are so encouraging every time. My husband is battling selfishness and otherthings you mentioned and I am drained from trying to help him. I even got caught up in feeling hopeless. We both need this encouragement daily to get our marriage back on track. I can’t afford to buy the book right now but will hopefully be able to get it soon!
This sample blessed me and will bless my marriage today. Thank you for sharing this. We are always encouraged by you.

  111. Valerie Hammond says:

This morning I am really fighting hopelessness and discouragement due to feelings of inadequacy. It seems like I don’t have the strength to do anything good these days as a wife or mother. I saw your email and read the book excerpt that you posted and it was just what I needed to hear! I do want to glorify God with my life but it seems so impossible because of the daily frustration I have because my actions don’t line up with what I really want to do and be. I would love to have this resource as a daily reminder of god’s love and mercy for me through the stories of other women so that I can push through this mud I feel like I’m in. Thank you for your ministry!

  112. I would love to win the package because I tried to order and it is sold out. I am very drawn to the title and will look for the book itself, but the devotional sounds like exactly what I need right now.

  113. I would love to win your book Renee I love your book A confident Heart this is my second time through! I know a friend who would love one too! You are such an inspiration! I have been doing OBS for almost a year now and LOVE IT! thank you for what you do! I love devitional books becuase its hard for me to read a whole chaoter of the bible and understand what it is saying so with a devotional i get just a clip and its easy for me to understand and some are stories from peoples lives!

  114. No matter how hard I work and no matter how much I accomplish at work, I am frequently plagued by self-doubt and worry that I am not valuable enough in my job. This is in no way corroborated by my employers, so I know I need a shift in my thinking!

  115. Julia R. Joseph says:

I am looking forward to reading this devotion and growing closer to God and feel his presence with me all the time.

  116. The book looks like it could be a life changer for not only me but for my good friend who is going through an extremely painful season in her life. It would be blessing for us both to win this so we can experience growth and encouragement together through “A Confident Heart”.

  117. I am excited to read this book

  118. I am on my second time of the Bible study A Confident Heart. Renee speaks in a way that truly grabs you and gives you the desire to get to know God better and seek Him more. Proverbs 31 ministry offered the first Bible study when I was truly going through a difficult, dark period in my life. The ladies who led the study reached out to me and gave me hope and strength when I didnt think I could go on. If I were to win this set, i would share it with someone who is struggling just like I was, and some times still do, so they can know Jesus in a close intimate way. In a way that Renee teaches so well in her book. A book I have shared with many. I am excited to see a devotional that I can have in my hands every day.

  119. I have a friend who has walked away from God and church altogether. I would love to be able to hand her a copy of this and to encourage her.

  120. My friend Dianne and I are both looking for a job. Your devotional will be a great way to keep our spirits up and support each other on our journey.

  121. I am in the place of waiting … and I have a friend who just go through a separation from her husband. Both situation, different circumstances . .we are just waiting for the Lord to lead us into something better. Life is hard right now for both of us, but we are hoping. I know this devotional books will help both of us to keep on looking to God instead our circumstances .. thanks for the chance.

  122. tara marsh says:

This book is Awesome! I can’t believe that Renee has literally spoken right to me through very similar experiences such as hers that relate closely to my own. I’m loving this book!! I can’t put it down!! I’m so glad I decided to continue being a part of the proverbs 31book studies. God is Great!!

  123. Suzanne VanSligtenhorst says:

“A Confident Heart” is my 4th OBS and I can see the way that God is changing me already. As a result of the OBS, I am digging into God’s Word (the Bible) everyday and this is effecting my relationships with my husband and son. So exciting to be a part of this OBS!

  124. Jennifer Rotan says:

  125. I have doubts so often and worry consumes too much of my time. I could use a refresher on confidence and a reminder about God’s role in my life.

  126. Cindy Berg says:

I recently received an answer to prayer in the form of a new friend who walks with me and helps start the day with the Lord and a positive attitude. We have been discussing on our 5 am walks the power of our thoughts and our words. This devotional seems to fit right in with what God is teaching me.

  127. I am a women’s ministry leader at a small town church in Illinois. Our thought life is so important in how life is. I love the am/fm radio analogy. I constantly am looking for something to share with the women in the church to encourage them, draw them into a Bible study, help get them focused on God’s Word and any other thing that might be needed. I haven’t read the book yet, but love the title of a Confident Heart. God’s blessings on you Renee.

  128. The words of encouragement I receive from p31. help me start everyday more positive. Would love to have this this .You ladies are a blessing in my life.Thank you.

  129. I want to stop living from a spirit of fear and insecurity. Sounds like the book and devotional would speak to my struggles.

  130. God is so faithful! And His word is full of His promises to us. I would love to find more. I’m excited to see how your devotional can help me find more of God’s promises from the Bible and give practical ways for me to apply them to my life.

  131. I feel as though Satan is attacking me spiritually with the string of bad luck that has been hitting my family one after another over the past 3 months. I know God is there, but I can’t hear him. I feel like all of these things are happening because I am not doing something right.

  132. My best friend and I meet every week – one on one- to uplift, encourage and hold each other accountable. We would love this book for our next study!!!

  133. Kristen S. says:

This book is on my list of books to purchase and read. I have found myself feeling really distant from God lately and I’m really trying to push through to stay close to Him, rather than do the natural thing and just think about myself. I’m trying to stay positive even though at times I feel really discouraged. I think this book would really help me through this time and regardless of if I win or not, I will be reading this book in the near future!

  134. Terri Johns says:

I am trusting God through a difficult season…all forms of encouragement is needed. What great news about this daily devotion. My daughter is on an 11 month mission trip all over the world. This mom struggles at times.

  138. Cheryl Harmon says:

I would like to win this book because I enjoy reading devotionals. They help me a lot in my life.I always like reading Christian books very much.

  139. Melinda Fleeman says:

I love great devotional books and this looks like it would fit perfectly in the season I am currently going through. I need a good dose of a confident heart. Please pick me!

  140. Ann Marie Miller says:

I had already purchased “Confident Heart” and was reading through it, when a friend called me one morning and was sharing her heart about a lot of “stuff” going on with her. (Which she would do often with me) But as soon as I was hearing her words, I felt this I had to give her this book. It was made for her heart! So I did! She has it now and I would love to have another copy, but also the devotion to go with it so we could do it together. She actually wanted to do that with the book alone this summer, but I couldn’t because of how busy my work and family life is in the summer. This would be a perfect time to do it. We live in the Adirondack’s of New York and winters are long and cold. Thank you for sharing you heart in writing this book and for making a devotional to go along with it!

  141. TAnderson says:

I would love to win the book and DVD to inspire me, give me hope and confidence and teach me about
God’s truth and plan for my life.

  142. I need something to change my life and guide me to where I need to be. Excited to read this book!

  143. Mary Beth Powers says:

I book your book several years ago and taught it out of my home. It changed my life!! Since then god has called me to be the women’s minister of my church. I can’t believe how much doubt run through us as children of God. My oldest daughter is now at college and is going through a tough time with relationships! I handed the book to her and she has handed it to a non-believer!! I love it!!! So much has come from your obedient call. I plan to teach this study again and really hope to win the devotion!!

  144. Jacqueline says:

Wow! After reading just a small piece from the book listed above it made me realize how insecure I didn’t even know I was being. God placed it on my heart that when I listen to the insecure thoughts I’m growing farther from Him. Even if i don’t win I’ll be praying everyday and finding scriptures that’ll help me be closer to God! Ty

  145. This looks like a wonderful opportunity to learn how to be more faithful and sure. What a wonderful opportunity. 🙂

  146. I’m recently retired and my husband is leaving his employment next month, but doesn’t have another job yet. I definitely need assurance I’m not on this journey alone.

  147. Kristi Schmieder says:

I would like to share my family’s journey and hopefully inspire someone else that may read this. My husband and I met when we were 14 and have been best friends since. Married for 16 years. 3sons. I always thought I had faith until April of this year, 2013. On spring break I discovered my husband stealing my prescription pain medications. I am chronically disabled but push myself to be the best mom and wife I can be. The discovery of my husband and best friend of 27 years addiction was horrifying. He chose to run and hide and deny the truth. Things quickly spiraled out of control. And what didn’t help was the hatred his family had for me, and used this opportunity to drive the wedge in to break up our marriage. They told him I was leaving and taking the boys. Which was so far from the truth. I kept telling my husband I was there for him. But he couldn’t let his family find out the truth. One night his anger and rage lead to an assault. And this is where I believe God intervened. My husband ended up getting arrested, face down, with asphalt in his face on a driveway leading to what became our church. That night I just prayed and knew this was a result of his addiction. He spent a night in jail. 4 days later he served me with divorce papers and used my disability to immediately obtain possession of our boys. Even though I had a protection order awaiting. But his parents hid him to prevent that. In Michigan there is a 6 month “time out” rule. You can not get divorced for 6 months. All the meanwhile my dad was dying of pancreatic cancer. I stayed patient and kind to Tim. This was not “my Tim”. This was addiction. 5 months went by. I had 1 month left. For the first time in my life I surrendered to God. I knew things wouldn’t happen “my” way. And certainly not Tim’s way. As a last resort I found a window of opportunity to get Tim to meet with a pastor. I randomly picked this pastor based on the location of the church being in the back of our neighborhood. And just so happens to be the church with the driveway where Tim got arrested. This pastor and his wife, complete strangers to me, took me in and listened to my story. I loved my husband. Knew he would die if this didn’t work. I convinced Tim to go meet with this pastor. And he did. That meeting with that pastor changed Tim’s life. I next invited Tim and our boys to come to that church with me. And Tim showed up with our boys. That Sunday Tim , a total stranger to this church, lead our entire family during silent prayer to the altar. Tim sobbed. We all did. I think the whole church did. The pastor and his wife immediate saw us and prayed with us. I knew my Tim was back. And 3 months later we are going better than ever. We are a family again. We have put faith first. Tim is in men’s bible study groups. We have a fun marriage class group through the church. I can say I witnessed a miracle from God. There was zero chance of us reconciling. And Tim is drug free. Which we are a team in this journey of recovery. I would love a chance of being chosen for this book series. This is all new to us, and we need all the guidance we can get. I am so grateful my prayers were answered. And God found Tim and saved him literally. Thank you for anyone that took the time to hear bits and pieces of our journey.

    • Kristi, I’m sobbing right now. I have a similar situation and your story encourages me. I’m so thankful you shared your story of love faith and recovery.

      • Kristi Schmieder says:

I am so grateful you read it. I BELIEVE in Tim. And now our family is putting faith and God first. We are fortunate to have a program called RACING FOR RECOVERY. It’s mission is to prevent substance abuse and help those who battle addiction. A guy who actually went to our high school, started it 12 years ago!!! It’s working for Tim and US. Todd Crandell is the guy and ESPN did a documentary called “from addict to ironman”. Anyone battling substance abuse, or is a supporter to a loved one, or knows of anyone struggling with addiction should look him up. His story incredible. He’s our counselor and we are so lucky he lives close by. Many if not every woman would not have fought to save their marriage, let alone their addict husbands life. But I chose to. Even with all the pain and hurt. (The stealing of my dying fathers medications too). The weird thing is, forgiveness was never an issue. And Tim can see and feel the love I have for him. Unconditional love. And God sure showed him the way!! Haha. It truly is miraculous. I will pray for you especially going through something similar. I “get” it. Feel free to contact me anytime. And don’t give up or lose hope!! And FAITH!! ( I’m just an ordinary mom of 3 boys. And Tim and I are in this to win this!! (Journey of recovery). Thanks again

    • Kristi Schmieder I have been having a lot going on in the last 2 years, but mine has been with our daughter I am really sorr

      • Kristi Schmieder I have been having a lot going on in the last 2 years, but mine has been with our daughter I am really sorry but prayers and peace to you (Sorry the computer cut me off) I hope things will get better for you!

        • Kristi Schmieder says:

Thank you so much Moya!! Keep the faith. This is all so new to us. But our marriage and friendship is the best it’s ever been. I ask myself everyday, why did God choose to save Tim? And our marriage?? So many don’t get saved. My only answer is surrendering to God for the FIRST time changed my life. It was like a calming and reassuring effect came over me, and I just completely left it up to God. I was going to accept whatever his will be done was. And honestly, since this was my first time completely relying on God, I had no clue what I was doing!! Lol I will pray for you and hope you find the strength to have HOPE and that your daughter figures out she is capable and deserving of a great life. It starts with a choice. She can do it! And I highly recommend addressing the root cause or the “why”. But counseling is best for that. Take care and I’m always here for you.

    • Praising God for His saving grace and for you!

Thank you for sharing your heart, your story and your life.

Praying for you as you continue to move forward to the heart of Jesus.

  148. Lauren Taylor Romero says:

I have been looking for a good devotional. I am a college student and trying to continue to keep my faith strong. 🙂

  149. God is doing mighty things in my family right now. I have ordered the study for me, my daughter and granddaughter to do as a family. there is much healing that needs to take place and I know that God is the great healer and restorer of life. the 60 day devotional would be one more tool to help with the healing journey we are on .

  150. I’ve been receiving daily devotionals from Proverbs 31 for 6 months. Most of the time it’s the exact message I needed. And there are times it’s carried me through my day. I have lost 4 grandparents, my biological father and stepfather (who was in my life for 35 years) in the past 6 years. It has been extremely difficult for me but I know they are in a better place. I think this book and devotional would continue to bless me and help me with my struggles.

  151. I think Confident Heart is a book is filled with God’s powerful Truth and I believe every woman should read it! So excited that you are offering the DVD and devotional along with it! Would love to win the Devotional especially to share with a friend!

  152. I’m looking forward to reading this book!

  153. I could really use this devotional for a daily reminder of what I read in the book! I am going through empty nest and a hubby who is on the road a lot for work. I have some physical issues that have kept me from going back to work!! Thank you for your awesome ministry! You have been a blessing in my life!

  154. I have struggled lately in many areas of my personal and spiritual life. I would appreciate the encouragement and assurance I need daily through this devotional. It would mean so much to me to feel and live confidently when lately, I don’t feel much confidence! I would give the second copy to either my sister, who has had some very challenging valleys in her life lately, or to my good friend Chris, who was just diagnosed with lung cancer, and her faith and hope are an inspiration to many!

  155. Sometimes I am stricken with insecurity. Being the leader of a pretty spirit-filled small group, being an instructor, and pretty successful that on the outside it appears that I have it all but that doesn’t mean I do. There’s some old insecurity and old past hurts that try to rise up when I’m not edified. Perhaps your devotional can help me on my quest to become the bold confident free woman I say that I am but that truly I am struggling to become.

  156. I hope I win this devotional, I love Renée Swoopes devotions on Proverbs 31.

  157. Delinda Mauney says:

I so enjoyed your A Confident Heart Study and would love to have a daily devotional to go with it. I have used so many of your comments from a Confident Heart in devotionals I have done at my church and for events, etc. To know God’s love for us is truly the only way to have a confident heart – Thanks for making me realize that!!!!!

Pick Me!!!!! Pick me for the devotional!!!!!!

  158. I would like to read the book and devotional and win the dvd – some days you just need to know that God has your back 🙂 A lot of times its easy to forget and this would be a great reminder!

    • I would also love to share this with my friends once I am done reading it. It would be a gift that keeps on giving 🙂

  159. Doreen Sowers says:

It sounds so fitting for my life right now, I have been looking for a devotional and have had my eye on this one, it would be awesome to win a copy 🙂

  160. I am reading A Confident Heart now and it is proving to be a life changer. I am able to apply the learnings each and every day. It is improving my personal relationship with Christ, improving my self confidence and improving my marriage. I can only imagine what the devotional can do for me!

  161. I am doing Obs …A Confident Heart.
Chapter 2 grabbed a hold of the one area that has kept me stuck in Gods Grace
And forgiveness in my head. But need it to grab a hold it in my heart and life.
I have been not able to get past my choices that hurt my own self and others.
I am ready for Gods transformation of Forgiveness to take over my life and remove the doubt
And fear that has crippled me in my Faith.
I would love to have this book to help me in My Journey of Forgiveness and grace that god has already
Given me..I want to grow past this doubt once and for all.
    Thank you

  162. Doreen Miller says:

Life can be overwhelming. Just when you think there is hope something else happens. I think God is trying to get my attention with all that is happening. I want to be obedient to him and put him first in all things because I know he can handle everything. I have been reading the bible and studying it. I would love to have something else with another perspective to share with my neighbor who I study with.

  163. Yolanda Holman says:

This would be a great book to boost confidence in myself and a friend. I would love to win this book.

    • I am a firstborn; I feel like I have to take care of everyone, everyone but myself. My mother chose men and alcohol over her children when I was young and I left her home to move in with my maternal grandmother. My mother then gave the other children up for adoption. I lived with my grandmother until I married at 25; she walked me down the isle. In her 80’s she started showing signs of dementia and having tia’s; my aunt used this to her advantage and convinced my grandmother that I was stealing from her (even though it was her name on all the checks written). She made my aunt her POA which gave my aunt the control to put her into a nursing home. I have always had walls built up and don’t let people in. I couldn’t bring myself to visit her in the nursing home on a regular basis; when I did, she always thought I was my aunt. One evening she was speaking about me and she said couldn’t remember my name; she said “oh, you know, the one that lived with me for a while and you never liked her.” WOW! What a blow! Now, I learned that my entire teen/early adult years were a lie.
I have nothing to do with that side of my family; I don’t want anymore lies and deception from them.
I have always doubted that I’m good enough; that God can love ME and that I’m worthy of anyone’s love.
I have purchased A Confident Heart in the hopes that I can truly believe that God loves me and thinks I’m worth something. This devotional would be a wonderful addition.
      Thank you for this opportunity.

  164. This must really be a very good book being already sold out. Winning it would be the next best thing!

    • So sorry for the confusion as you attempted to order the book. I assist Renee with her ministry and I just got off the phone with the P31 Office. The book is not actually sold out. The books will ship into the P31 offices on October 31st. It’s just a technically glitch that they will be correcting today with their systems. Please try again later today to pre-order your copy.

  165. I have been doing the A Confident Heart Bible study and already I can feel this book changing me. I am planning on buying the book for two of my friends I think would greatly benefit from it. I can’t wait to see what the devotional has in it. I think it would be a valuable tool 🙂

  166. Teresa Gierhart says:

I would love to win this set. I am currently reading ACH with the Proverbs 31 OBS – love it ! I would love to share this with my friend at work, we currently encourage each other through our rough days and this would be a great addition.

  167. I am always encouraged as Renee pours out her heart and soul to her readers. I would love the copies of Confient Heart devotional because I know that it would be a tremendous blessing to me and my friend. I would love to buy it but I am not financially able to do so at this time. Whoever wins will truly be blessed.

  168. Elizabeth Phillips says:

This would be a great book for my friend and I. We meet each week to share with each other how our week went, what God is laying on our hearts, and what we need to be lifted up in prayer. It is also just a good time for fellowship with a sister in Christ!

  169. As someone who struggles with this subject, I would love to have this devotional.

  170. Bobbi Owens says:

Life can be very challenging at times. Just when i think things are going good boom somethings else comes up and i feel like defeated again. God has really been working on my heart for the last several months now. I know he is trying to teach me to trust in him and also is showing me i need to be obedient to him. i would love to have this devotional book to help me in most difficult times when i just don’t feel like i have the confidence to go on. i know this book will point me in the right direction and tell me where to go in scripture. i know one of the ladies in my Bible study would love to have this book.

  171. Mandy Frank says:

I would live to win this book for myself and to give one to my mom. It is truly an inspiration and would help us in our day to day journey.

  172. I need some guidance. I would love to have some help in getting where I am suppose to be.

  173. I’m currently doing the online study of the book and would love to have a daily devotional to go along with it. The devotional would be a great Christmas present to give to one of my friends.

  174. As a single parent, I have amazed myself at what I am able to handle and accomplish on my own. Things I never would have believed I could have done. However, I have also learned how much encouragement helps me and self encouragement even more so. I think this would be a wonderful addition to my “toolkit” that I reach into when I need to get myself back on track.

  175. Kim Parker says:

I love your book and love it when a devo or blog post comes through reminding me of the things i learned through it. I have a daughter who is a sr in high school. THis will be perfect for college! A great idea for graduation gifts too!

  176. I’d love to share this with my best friend.

  177. Just reading the few pages shown above really got me excited about reading this book!! I know my friends and I would benefit greatly from it! Thank you for writing a book that shows us how God believes in us, is for us, and is always in control! In this crazy world, those things can be easily hidden once the hussle of your day sets way. Excited to read and share with friends!!

  178. Jen Shuler says:

I would love to win this. I’m having a hard time with family relationships.

  179. I need to jump start my feelings of self-doubt. I have so many good ideas on sharing my faith.

  180. Nancy Russell says:

I thought I was handling my husband’s unemployment well…..outwardly I am good but inside I am full of fear. I find myself “waiting for the other shoe to drop” in every situation. I’m tired of being afraid. I need help.

  181. PJ Ostendorf says:

I haven’t read this book but was intrigued when the ad said “I need to rely on the power of God’s truth in your circumstances and emotions” & “replace your thoughts with God’s thoughts about your doubts, fears & concerns”. I’ve always been a confident woman but am finding self-doubt with respect to my job searching. Everyone keeps saying it’s the economy but I’m feeling inadequate because of my age. Everyday I pray for God to point me in the right direction and maybe the next application will be the place he wants me to work. On top of all that, I now have 3 kids in college and worry about the choices they are making & only pray that the strong Christian roots/upbringing they have will steer them in the right direction. I receive email devotionals everyday and sometimes it’s like God is looking in my window and knows exactly what’s going on in my life! Oh that’s right- HE DOES! Thank You for listening to God in your life, and sharing those thoughts with the rest of us!

  182. I think this devotion would be a great encouragement for my friend and I. We have both been seeking a deeper walk with Christ, and I think your devotional would only help that. Thank-you for stepping out in faith and making the sacrifices to bring this message to us!

  183. Candy Hoffman says:

Love this book. The “If you say….God says” are powerful. I am making index cards with each situation to carry with me for my weak moments!

  184. I am strugglilng with my belief in God. I want so much to give Him control over my life, but within 5 minutes of deciding that, I am back in control. I need some help in getting to where I can trust in Him totally and completely. My friend is a Christian and is doing her best to help me along, but it’s been hard. Thanks

  185. Jami Weber says:

I’ve never read any of Renee’s books or done any of the Bible studies. But I would love to! My heart has been challenged lately to dig deeper into God’s word and study. In my head, I know my confidence is in the Lord, but sometimes it is a difficult task to take it to heart and act it out in my every day life. It would be a fun blessing to receive this book and to share it with a friend. It’s always fun to make someone smile with an unexpected gift!

  186. I am excited, plan on going through this with a group of women!

  187. I’ve been mentoring a young friend of mine for about 8 years now. We just started looking for a new book to go through together. This one would be perfect!

  188. This is my second time through the study and God continues to show me where I need work. I am doing the study with a friend of mine. We call each other daily to give encouragement and prayer. The devotional would be a great resource to pull from and a way for us to encourage each other with words of wisdom.

  189. Montessa Lee says:

My friends and I are always looking for ways to strengthen our walk with the Lord. We believe this tool will help us.

  190. I have done a Confident Heart OBS previously and found the book to be very helpful. I initially bought this book to do with my mother, because honestly I felt like it was something she needed to hear. As the time went on, I found that it actually applied to me way more than I thought it would. Coming from an abusive marriage, and emotionally detached father, I realized that I was not quite as confident in who I was, as I had originally thought. I am still on this transformational process, of identifying who God says I am, and allowing Him and only Him to define me. I believe that my mother and I could benefit from the devotional greatly, as we did gain so much from the book. Thanks!

  191. I am participating in the study group now doing A Confident Heart and been thinking I would love to give this to my seventeen year old granddaughter so I’d love to win the book and devotional.

  192. Your devotional book giveaway is fine, but the rest of the giveaways are ILLEGAL. It’s illegal to require purchase for entry in a giveaway in the USA. This is a serious matter, and not something that a Christian organization should be participating in. I realize that you probably did this out of ignorance, but you really could get into a heap of trouble, so you should take some time to look into it.

Here’s a good place to start:

    • Thank you for taking time to share your concerns about the giveaways. Im going to ask my publisher to research this and if that is the case – we will definitely change the details. So appreciate your sharing!

  193. I would love to read your devotional “A Confident Heart”. I’ve really been struggling with anxiety and depression the past few months. I can’t purchase the book at this time, but think it would really help me overcome these issues, along with God’s strength. May I please be entered in the contest to win this devotional. I would love to win the book too!

  194. Karisa Madera says:

I would love to win this!!!

  195. Sherry Eaton says:

I would be thrilled to win this book or the gift card to go buy books with. I have so many struggling
woman in my life that I could share it with. God is so good and we tend to forget that in our day
    to day busy lives.

  196. I have lived quite a bit of my life in fear: fear of circumstances, fear of not having friends when young, fear of being alone when my husband was dying. In each phase of life, The Lord went before me. I would be confident of who I am in Christ for awhile and then lapses would creep in. I want to live joyously in Christ and for Chriist. No More fear! If I win many books, or just 1, I would like to lead a Bible Study class on what it means to have a confident heart. Learning together! Love Pro 31 ministries and OBS.

  197. I would love to win this book for myself and a friend because it sounds like a wonderful book full of devotionals that will inspire me and help me to know and understand the Word of God better.

  198. Kaye Neely says:

This sounds like a very helpful devotional. I’m needing to find a new one for the new year and as I read this,I thought of a friend who I would love to share this with also.

  199. Kristina M says:

i am in the process of losing my job as it is being outsourced. this devotional would be a much needed blessing. i feel like i’m struggling to keep my heart confident. but God has promised me success through Jesus. i am trying to hold on.

  200. This sounds like EXACTLY what I’m needing in my life right now!!

  201. Thanks to Proverbs 31 Ministries & our Lord’s guidance I have been able to be in God’s Word daily each morning for the first time since I asked Jesus into my heart when my daughter was born! In addition, one of my goals for quite some time was to be in the Word with my daughter daily and now I have had an opportunity to journalize and email my daughter reflections each day which she responds to.

Reading “A Confident Heart” together, would give us further strength to focus on doing God’s work together! Thank you for a chance to be EXTRA blessed by more words of encouragement!

  202. I tried to buy the book and it is sold out 🙁

    • So sorry for the confusion as you attempted to order the book. I assist Renee with her ministry and I just got off the phone with the P31 Office. The book is not actually sold out. 203. I have the book and would so love to get the devotional and share this with my daughter. She as well as my self struggle with being confident. She is a new mom and i am a new grandma. We both need each other as we go down this road of being confident and to bring up this new child of God with a new heart and love for our God. I love what i have read so far. Would love to have a the set for us to share on this journey

  204. Katherine says:

I have been going through so much these last four years with a 2 of my 3 children with different illnesses, divorce of 23 year marriage and the realization of the unresolved abandonment issues from the loss of my dad as a little girl. The negative self talk and the walls I have built around myself are beginning to be broken down with counseling. This devotional book would be a great comfort and encouragement for my desire to replace the negative self talk with the word of God and then be able to apply these truths with my children to help them hearing the voice of God’s truth about them.

  205. Joanna Martin says:

I am so excited to be studying The Confident Heart book and am looking forward to the devotional. God bless all my sisters in Christ!!

  206. Ruby Hudson says:

I would love to have this devotional to keep me daily focused on Truth when there is so much chaos and deception in the world all around me. The second one I would love to give to a friend who is going through a very rough time right now.

  207. What a blessing it would be to use this book for myself and a friend. A perfect opportunity to jump in the Lords word together when we’re not feeling sufficient. When we are doubting. When we need lifted up. By the Lord. What a great give away!

  208. Anne Brown says:

I would love to win this book as I’ve got an almost-16 year old AMAZING daughter who struggles with severe test anxiety. We’ve discussed that those feelings are not of God and that He’s with her at all times, just ask for His help. I believe your book could really help her with this struggle. I’m praying for God’s favor that I might win this wonderful book so she can really understand God’s promises and love.
Thank you for the opportunity!! May God Bless you!

  209. Virla Neithinger says:

I love to win the book because I need confidence. It has been a rough year and I need encouragement daily. I know God’s in control, but somedays its hard to see beyond the problems.

  210. Julie Michalko says:

I have been reading A Confident Heart – this book is so inspiring and uplifting! I can only imagine what the devotional holds me and any other women that would read it! I know it will be awesome – and that God will definitely be speaking to me as I read it! Thank you for letting God shine thru you as you share thru your book writing.

  211. Dedee Moore says:

I am looking for such a study to grow my confidence as I am stretched again and again.

  212. I have the book but would love to have the devotional to go with it for a deeper study. I live in PA and my friend Heather, lives in CA. We encourage each other on different sides of the country and yet are connected through Christ. I miss her terribly. We are always praying for each other about lack of money, time, problems with our kids and constantly feeling a lack of confidence. I don’t have a lot of money right now, my oven is broken and my kids have been to the doctor for breathing/coughing problems for the past month, so you can add lack of sleep to that list. I would LOVE to bless my friend in CA with a copy of this devotional. She is a blessing to me, and I wish I could do more for her. Please keep us both in your prayers.

  213. My friend and I have been guiding and walking with each other with God and encouraging each other in hard times. I would like to win the book for the both of us because both of us struggle with insecurity and needing God’s worth shined into us.

  214. They say it takes 30 days to develop or change a habit. I would like to develop the habit of better self talk about what God says about me and infuse more of His truths to me. This devotional would be a wonderful help.

  215. Laura Flores says:

Pretty sure this book would qualify as a need in my life right now. Thank you for the opportunity to win!

  216. I just told my husband that I needed a devotional for me. i just feel like i need a guided lesson. Not just willy nilly reading. Thank you for the offer.

  217. I would consider it a true blessing if I was able to win this package. Not only do I find this study helpful to me – I have two daughters that need this so much and a friend that needs help in building her self esteem back up.

  219. DeeDee Brinkman says:

I would love to have this beautiful devotional to encourage my growth in Christ…thank you for doing this!

  220. I am really enjoying the online Bible study of this book. The book is wonderful, the fellowship of the ladies in my group is encouraging. Together they are a true gift, and a blessing. I stumbled upon this in a way that some might call “an accident”, I don’t believe it was accidental. I believe it was God intervening to heal my heart. Praise to our Lord.

  221. I am finishing up Gideon Bible study this week. This devotional would be a good next step!

  222. I am looking forward to beginning this devotional … I am so in need. Thank you.

  223. I am involved in youth ministry and would love this book for myself to grow and also to possibly use in a small group setting with my girls.

  224. Erin Porch says:

I would truly love to have this book because satan has been beating me down for YEARS with a failed first marriage due to drug abuse, leaving me to raise 2 children alone. I remarried only to discover that he was molesting my children and is now serving 20 years in prison, so I am a single mother of 4 beautiful girls… I know that I owe it to myself as well as all 4 of my girls to BE and to raise them to be the women He has made us and called us to be. I need and desire this daily encouragement and reminder that I am His and I DO have a purpose. I want to raise strong, christian girls and it has to start in me.

  225. JANE WOOD says:

I would like to win because I just started mentoring a young woman. I think this would be a wonderful devo for us to go through together.

    Blessings on you!

  226. I would love to win this book .. I am recently going thru something ..maybe like “mid life crisis” .. Just feel that I’ve lost my purpose and who I’m supposed to be .. I’m so wrapped up in things around me that I don’t focus well on who I really am and what I enjoy .. Just going thru a confusing time ..

  227. Christina says:

I would love to win this for me and my friend. We both have read and done the Confident Heart Bible study online twice. It has been such a blessing and we have told many others of this book. But each of still struggle in this area and I believe this would be such a blessing to have such a daily reminder of who we are in Christ each morning. We pray together every weekday before work and this would be so great to add to our time. Blessings and thank you Renee for sharing your heart.

I love this book. I bought it read and cried through then gave it to a friend who was struggling with self-esteem and alcoholism. I would love to have the devotional book.

  230. I am studying abroad in Costa Rica for four months. While I’ve been here (only two months) I have been assaulted twice. 237. This is to Danielle Humberstone who is having a hard time trusting God to take care of things. I was like that once and I still have my moments, but they are “little” moments compared to what it used to be like. Danielle, the Lord is magnificent – take baby steps if you have to, but talk to Him every day and tell Him what is on your heart then….Listen. He will guide you and also tell you what you need to be doing to get to where He wants you to be. Listening is the hardest part sometimes, but I’m praying it will be easy for you. Danielle, you trust that there is air to breathe each day – trust that the Lord is next to you each day – every moment when you start having doubt, talk to Him. Then let it go and let Him make your day better. There is one thing you have to do though – you have to get rid of all the toxic things in your life – people, places, things that can keep you from hearing the Lord. In other words, make God your best friend. Put Him first for a change. So many people will bring negativity into your life – you have to turn from it. It’s not easy, but you’ll be better in the long run. And the Lord will put the “right people” in your life to help you get closer to Him. It happens to me all the time!! And when it does, I thank Him and praise Him for putting that person in my life for whatever reason. So Danielle, I hope you will read this – I’m praying you will. I really want whatever is tearing your family up, to be resolved and for you and your family to have many, many happy days! May God bless you and guide you to where He wants you to be. Trust HIM – He will do what is best for YOU! I will keep you in my prayers. Lana

  253. Nicole Phillips says:

God’s Word is my fuel! Being able to read godly encouragement as I walk this difficult journey in life and to not allow the enemy to come in and plant doubt. Daily words of arming myself in God’s ways, this devotional would be a great blessing on the journey!

  254. Tonia Bowman says:

I think I would be soooo very Blessed as a woman to daily seek this new Devotional. I love listening to Renee Swope on KLove, and her encouraged for being a mother.

  255. I am super excited about this book! I would love to have the daily encouragement from this new book to keep me going from the great information and encouragement I received from the first one.

  256. Our daughters are both in college now and I have several young moms I’m friends with and try to encourage. One’s having a particular difficult time and this might just be the thing to get more of the Lord into her day and to speak the truth of His love into her life!

  257. Every morning I wake up and start my day by getting my kids off to school and getting ready for work. When I get to work is when I can read my Proverbs 31 devotion through my e-mail. It would be a great start to the day if I could have a devotional to start as soon as I wake up. Even if I don’t win one, I still think that this would be the one for me. I have read the book and I have a bible study group that meets on Tuesday nights. We have been discussing starting our next study on a Confident Heart.

  258. Melissa Burgess says:

I am going through a very difficult time in my life right now and really need this devotional. I read the book and absolutely loved it. I am finishing a bible study in the next week and would love this book to be my next focus.

  259. Christina says:

I’m a 46 year old woman that has gone through many trials in the last few years.Surgeries, dealing with two substance abusing daughters. Raising my grandson for years. A alcoholic husband whom I got the courage to leave this past August. Most of the people that know me have no clue how I’ve survived these trails. I knew I was strong but never could figure out what kept me going. Until, I opened my heart up to God through Jesus and fond my new church through a cousin. I have become a faithful believer. Since opening the door I’m a work in progress that is for sure learning so much about myself someone I had lost a long time go. I have lived with a “why me” look on life as if a dark cloud followed me everywhere destine for awful things to happen. I never saw any good in any of my trails but I knew I never felt alone either. ODD but true. Even though I never knew it but God was always with me. Never gave up on me and I honestly believe he showed me where to find him. I have become easier going. I’m softer, kinder and most of all easier on myself. I’m learning forgiveness sets me free not the people whom hurt me but me. I would love to win your gift your books. To continue my journey.

  262. I have been struggling with doubt since my husband of 23 years walked out on our marriage. I have trouble moment to moment remembering how much God loves me and that he is for me….I think this giveaway would help me, a lot.

  263. A Confident Heart…I am recently divorced. My ex-husband stated that he loves me, but why am I divorced? Why did he do the things he did? That wasn’t love and he didn’t know Jesus. In order to truly LOVE you must know Jesus because He is LOVE. Well on the same note I feel that I am confident. But not in the sense of God Confident. I want know confidence as God knows confidence; just as God is love. It’s that simple.

  264. Susn Sadler says:

I need a devotional desperately and this one even addresses personal struggles right now.

  265. My daughter and I were blessed by the confident heart study when we did it a few months back and it would be wonderful to keep those precepts in our hearts and minds with the new devotional!

  266. I would like to win your book so I can use it for a ladies’ class study.

  267. June shewbridge says:

I recently re-kindled a relationship with my x husband and moved from South Carolina to Virginia leaving my job friends and family within the first week I felt unsafe and was told to leave my new home. It was a long drive to my family in MD. and WV then finally back to SC but I am home and safe. Time to emerge myself in my faith with Gods word and heal while I look for a job and home

  268. Holly Branum says:

I know that myself like many women I know deal with the lies we tell ourselves each day about our self worth. It is hard to see ourselves the way He does. Self doubt has always plagued me.

  269. I feel as though my life has been written in the first to chapters of A Confident Heart. It send shivers down my spine when I continue to read that all the terrible times I went through, both emotionally and physically are being brought back to life. I can’t believe someone else GETS IT, knows me, and is helping me come to grips with my locked down emotions. I will value this book for the rest of my life. I can only imagine how wonderful the Devotional would be. If I don’t win it, I’ll definitely be buying it. Thank you Renee for forcing me to bring out everything I’ve hidden for so many years. I love the quote on page 62 A Confident Heart is found in a woman who knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that she is loed no matter what! I hope to feel that love IN FULL, by the time I’m done with this book. God Bless You, and all the woman who are now being renewed by your works.

  270. I am doing the online bible study right now and it is wonderful. I completed a christian abuse recovery program about a year ago after 40 years of abusive relationships that began with my mother and then in relationships with men, and am doing better, but I struggle with depression and feeling not good enough. I want to have a confident heart and know God better. Some day I want to work in womens ministry but I know I have to be confident in who I am in Christ first.

  271. Jill Kuiper says:

  276. D Hawkins says:

I have been sharing this book with my son. Also, I have been receiving in my email, the 7 day doubt diet. and sharing those with him as well. AWESOME!!! He is a young Christian man who is struggling with confidence with himself and our Lord. So far, through just the couple weeks of study, I can see HOPE coming back into his eyes!!!!! This devotion book would not only help him now, but later on in his life as a witness to others!!! God bless you ladies!!

  277. Valerie Sparks says:

I’m so excited about the release of the devotional. I saw it online a few weeks ago and couldn’t wait for it to come out. I’m currently doing the online study with a friend of mine and would love to continue on this journey with her through using the devotional.

  278. My whole life I have wrestled with my attacking thoughts of not being good enough or worthy enough. I have had great days of choosing to focus on God’s love for me: “My grace is sufficient.” But I’ve had many more days of choosing to let the Enemy drown out God’s voice. As I begin a new chapter in my life, moving into a job that requires every ounce of faith I can muster, I am in an all-out battle with myself about whether I can do this. I could use a book that reminds me that I am a confident, strong woman. I can do all things through Christ!

  279. JoAnn Erickson says:

I have finally found a church that I feel at home in. I woke up Sunday and so excited that it was Sunday so i can go to church and priase god for al he has done. I have been having nightmares for the past 10 years and went to a prayer groups and the night mares ended. I wake up every morning and thank God for a good night sleep without the nightmare. Its been a week. Its been a long time coming. But Also, through readings, people I get my answers to what God wants me to learn from a situation in my life. I love it. It usually takes 3 or 4 different resources for me to finally get it but I do. We have an AMAZING God there is nothing he can will not due… This devotional would be wonderful to complete my study. I have your book on Confident Woman. Thank you for all you do.

  280. Kelly Van Eps says:

So Excited for this! Love Proverbs 31 Ministries and you are just such an encouragement to me! Even if I don’t win something I still love this!!

  281. Debbie Painter says:

This last year has been a continuous struggle with trust. I have dove into His word and learned so much but am always ready to learn more. We left the church we had served in and attened for over 30 years and this shook me to the core. I began to doubt all I knew. I hope to use the book for encouragement for my self and others.
    Thanks, Debbie

  282. This would be a great book for myself and a friend because we are both struggling with deep insecurity from some unhealthy past relationships. We are both striving to develop a more confident faith filled heart and I think this book could help guide us on this path.

  283. This devotional sounds like it is just what my daughter and I need at this time in our lives.

  284. Sounds like a wonderful book to add to my library.

  285. Can’t wait to get this devotional! It sounds like just what I need.

  286. Proverbs 31 has been such an inspiration to me for several years now. I feel like each and every one of these beautiful women of God are my best friends. Thank you all! 🙂

  287. Ashley Bullock says:

I am in the middle of reading the book and I have gotten so much out of it. God has really spoken to me through it. I would love to have the devotional book to go along with it. I am very excited about this!

  288. Alexandra Ziller says:

Your ministry and book have been the water to quench my desperate thirst to grow in The Lord. When I spend time with you, your blog or book I realize I am not alone in the desert dying of thirst but thriving in the Word with my sisters in faith!

    Thank you Renee!

  289. Gabrielle Clapper says:

I would really love to win this devotional book because I am a Sophomore college student and it’s so hard to be confident in my personality, my grades, my body image, a lot! I think that this book could help me calm some of these unnecessary worries that I can’t seem to make my mind forget. My friend that I would give the other devotional to was just talking to me the other day how she too struggles with her self image and would love to just forget about it and tell her self that it’s okay. We are both single too and it’s hard to feel good about yourself because so many people at my school have significant others and there is even this pressure quota of “ring by spring”, where each girl is to be proposed to by spring of their senior year. Don’t get me wrong though, because I am so blessed and thankful to be at the college I am. It’s just hard sometimes to see me as the valuable girl God sees me as.

  290. I know life isn’t always easy, but I thought what was happening to you would at least have some purpose or make some sense. Two years of underemployment living off relatives, no home, no full time jobs, no benefits, over fifty, unpaid school loan, we are hopeless about ever being on our own again. I’m glad I joined OBS and have found encouragement but it’s hard to get beyond myself and this situation to see God’s purpose in a all this. I know other people have it much worse than I do and I feel like I’m whining, but this is real and personal and I can’t find God in it. I know all the platitudes, “Wait on The Lord, Be still and listen, Do something for someone else, FROG (fully rely on God)”, etc, etc, etc. My hearts just not in it anymore.

  291. I think to myself, yes I’m confident and strong… but then I read the “peek inside” portion and it brings me to reality: those are my exact thoughts. Recently my job was eliminated and I hold insurance for our family so feel a big burden there. We look at it as a blessing in disguise as I wanted to spend more time at home with my young boys. My husband is very supportive but I still have those “can’t do it all” thoughts that come creeping back. My husband farms so has been away from home for weeks and I’ve got two boys ages 3 and 1 and dealing with work issues. Everything seems to be adding up and am stuck in a rut. This book would be so helpful for me to gain perspective and keep constant confidence.

  292. Sandy Walton says:

I would love to have a copy of the devotional, but they are sold out ! When can we possibly order in the future? This looks like a wonderful tool for relieving anxiety.

  293. Alyssa Heitman says:

I would love to read this book as well as give a copy to my friend. We have both come from very difficult backgrounds and have had to deal with many trials and tribulations, but by the grace of God we have had each other to get through the difficult times. We both have trouble with confidence and letting go of past fear and anger, and I believe this book will help us with that.

  294. I would love to win the book.

  295. Glenna Graupmann says:

I have recently discovered the Proverbs site and enjoy each of the various blogs from the ladies who
write their messages. So many times they fit me exactly or a friend who I pass them along too.

  296. Helen Loewen says:

I have been enjoying getting the Proverbs 31 online devotionals and just recently purchased Lysa Terkuerst’s book, Unglued and the devotional that goes along with it. I would love to read a Confident Heart. I too struggle with feelings of inadequacy at times and need to learn to lean on Our Heavenly Father more. I know he is our strength, but it is easy to forget sometimes and we try to go it alone.

  297. I’d like to win a NEW Confident Heart Devotional book for me and a friend because I am ready to live the life of faith God’s designed forme and become all He’s created me to be. I’d love to experience this with a friend or several friends who are also ready to stop letting doubt, fear, and insecurity control them. I’m ready to step out the boat and walk on water.

  298. Sandra Salazar says:

I just came across this and this just what my friend & I need! She has just left an abusive relationship and this book & study would help me to help her put her confidence back on God so her relationship with Him may be restored. It would also help me to remind me that i am able to be used by God because it’s thru His strength and word I can be courageous. Thank you for this opportunity. -blessings

  299. Donna Quinn says:

I would love to win this book!! I have been looking for a good devotion book and this really speaks to me. Working on my walk with Jesus!!

  300. I am currently doing the online bible study and would love the devotional book. I have two close friends that we do devotional and other books together for accountability. This would be awesome for us to do together.

I tried to go out and purchase the devotional and the website said it was SOLD OUT.

Thanks for making this offer available. Thank you for being obedient to God’s lead.

  301. Corrie Salgado says:

Honestly, I am eager to read this because I’ve alway struggled with confidence. Not the world’s confidence but a heart of confidence from my Savior and father! I want to be able to inspire and encourage other women through Christs love and i feel this book could teach me the way!!!

  302. I would love to win the devotional because I am currently doing the OBS and have found inspiration through it. I have had the same thoughts of feeling like I cannot do it all and place pressure on myself to be a better wife, mother, employee etc. etc. I would love to have a boost of confidence each morning to start my day off right and remind me I am a Child of God and although not perfect and have room for improvement, I can handle the day:-)

  303. I would like to win this Devotional because I am an Advanced Unit Leader of 100 Avon Reps. Who look to me for guidance. I try to steer them to God’s way not my way. I open our meetings with prayer giving Him praise ,and asking for guidance to people who need lifestyle changes and who will help others achieve lifestyle changes both, spiritually and financially. It’s all about Him!!
I know that I must be fed in order to feed others, and I believe your book is the answer.
Thank you, and may god continue to Bless you as you do His will.

  304. Lori Powell says:

Winning this series of incredible inspiration would lift me out of the depressive state I’m in. I’m very fortunate and blessed to work with some increditble Christian women, but it seems like I take one step forward and something or someone pushes me about 10 steps back. I’m a single mom of 2 teenagers in a new town and I’ve been met with extreme adversity from my daughter. I would love to be able to share this devotional with her. Thank you for offering devotional.

  305. I could definitely benefit from this book – I find that devotionals give me directio and confidence is something I’m lacking.

  306. I have a God sent friend who has stood by me through some trying times we’ve decided to stand together in the war. We pray together for our spouses children family and friends we have some amazing breakthroughs. I would lobe to be able to share this with her.

  307. Thank you for the opportunity to win your book! I would love to share this with a dear friend who just had her fifth back surgery. She and I live in separate states but it would be a wonderful way to connect with her while she is laid up. We both have very challenging lives and have been friends for almost 30 years. Look forward to receiving your emails and more opportunities to win!

  308. I love devotionals, so this would be a good one for me.

  309. I enjoy reading devotionals along with my Bible each day.

  310. Thank you for all you do to encourage and help us stay focused on our heavenly Father. God bless!

  311. My hubby and i have been through some trying times and I sometimes question where God is. I need to
Build my confidence in myself and knowing that He is in control and His timing is perfect

  312. I just recently started working for my church while homeschooling one of my four children (and to top it off I’m approaching the half century mark). The old feelings of not good enough, why did it take me so long to get started serving the Lord, should I be serving, I can’t do any of this very well, not feeling liked/loved…. feelings that were in my past resurfacing to unglue me. Thus, I struggle with confidence in Christ. I councel my children and friends to hang in there, yet struggle to do that myself. I’ve started to go through “A Confident Heart” and finding it life changing – knowing that I have to change, and I am (slowly). Having the devotional to go along with the Confident Heart book would be….. great. It would be like a booster shot to help ward off insecurity.

  313. Annette Rosendahl says:

Very excited about this book! I would love the opportunity to share with our Steel Magnolias group at church

  314. I love the book and can’t wait to get the journal..

  315. I am a struggling addict who is seeking God and feel I am missing something unique. I feel this book may help me heal a broken heart that I have always longed for. Thanks for considering me.

  316. I just bought the book and am excited about it. I had read snippets on the Proverbs 31 site and it really spoke to me. I feel as though I have spent my whole life missing opportunities – both to enjoy life experiences for myself and with those I love, and also to be able to share God’s love with those around me who don’t yet know it for themselves – because of a lack of confidence. I have always felt not good enough. It’s not like there is a particular sin that I feel unforgiven of – it’s more that I just don’t feel good enough – and I’ve been so afraid to fail that I haven’t been willing to even take a shot! I am so grateful that God is working this out of me!! He is teaching me that it’s not about just who I am – but who I am in Him!! He is giving me identity. It’s a process – but one I am happy to be undergoing. Renee – I am so thankful for you sharing your own experiences with us. It gives me so much hope and excitement as to where I can go.

  317. I couldn’t believe it when I saw this book! I have a dear friend who is going through a divorce, she is struggling so much & is wanting to get involved in a bible study. I’ve been praying that God would show me how I can help her & what would be the perfect study for us to do together…& then I saw this! This is exactly what she needs & I know I will benefit from it too! Thank you for such wonderful material!

  318. Racquel Peterson says:

I would like to win a copy of the devotional book for me and a friend because we are currently participating in A Confident Heart online bible study and feel this would be a great resource of encouragement for us going forward.

  319. I love the fact that your book addresses the issue that so many women have…feeling confident in their place as one of God’s beautiful, beloved daughters! Thank you for your ministry! All of my life I have struggled with trying to please people and have only recently (in the past couple years) been trying to see myself from God’s eyes, not the world’s eyes. It’s a daily battle, but is so necessary so that I can keep my focus on Him, and not waste precious time on things that don’t really matter in the context of eternity! 🙂

  320. I have been a stay at home mother for my 3 children for the last nine years. Last July my husband lost his job forcing me to go back to work outside the house. My church has a Bible study group that meets Friday mornings and I am unable to attend due to working.

  321. Janet Carney says:

I am excited to win this because I would love to have another tool to help on my journey to a more confident woman in Christ! And how exciting that I would get to share one with a friend!!
    Thanks for the opportunity!!

    Good luck to all!!

  322. Chris Owens says:

I have attended the Confident Heart online study twice and have truly enjoyed it. I download my book but would like to have a hard copy so that I could transfer my notes into the hard copy so that I could pass on to my daughters. I also have a friend in a small town who has the gift of teaching but is fearful of stepping out and actually doing it. I’ve encouraged her to do your online devotional but she has limited resources. If I won the bundle, I’d send a book and the DVDs to my friend so that she could step out and serve God in this capacity – since I truly believe she has the gift of teaching.

  323. Sandi Perez says:

I have been doing the Confident Heart online study. This is a really good book that encourages deeper
Thoughts on the bible and it’s meaning and how that pertains to me. I would love to have the devotional
    To go along with this.

  324. Laura Taylor says:

I’m starting to read the book & would love to have a copy of the devotional to go along with it. Thank you Renee for writing it! Blessings! Laura

  325. I haven’t read this book or even heard of it but it sounds great. I just turned 30 this year and i feel completey at a cross roads….I don’t know where to start. I know with Gods love and support i can do anything…but I still feel so lost. I hope this book would me to get out of living in fear and to be brave about moving foward in my life.

  326. I would like a copy if this book for me and my friend Bc we are both going through very hard times in life especially our marriages. We feel like this is the end and don’t understand what God is doing. Tried to commit suicide b couldn’t see pass this but God saw fit to spare

  327. We walked through a impossible tragedy as a family two years ago, and I stopped to wonder where God’s plans would next lead us. I have looked at my daughters’ bond, wondering how their heartache and acceptance of what happened has shaped them, and realized they really need to find strength and support in each other throughout the rest of their time here on earth. I want to use this series as an accountability devotional for them to gather (through Skype, or face-time) and share how their study in this series is helping them, to draw them closer as not only sisters by blood, but also sisters in Christ. Winning these books and DVD’s would make a difference in our lives.

  328. Annika Sailer says:

I recently had the privilege of guiding a dear friend to Christ and I think this devotion would be so encouraging for her…and ME! I’m excited to see her and I grow together and to gain valuable insight on growing up and going deep in Christ.

  329. Carrie Patterson says:

I would love to win this book. I feel like I need this devotional book in my life right now!! I am having a rough time with my marriage & raising my rebellious teenage son. On top of that, I have MS and have had it for 6 years. I am 39 years old and life it just rough right now….sometimes it doesn’t seem quite fair. Hoping something like this would help me see things more clearly & lean more on God for guidance.

  330. I would be a great candidate to win this book for a friend and myself, because: I love sharing the good news with other women. If I tell another woman to read a book, they read it just because they trust my judgement and walk in Christ. I would also use this as an opportunity to set up a Bible study with other women and start a conversation, dialogue and exchange about what it means to be a woman after God’s own heart. It would also give me the opportunity to share in encouraging someone the entire time that we participated in the devotions together, as well as after.

  331. Being that I am always weighed down with self doubt, this would be a great book to have to read on a daily basis. I am stepping out of my comfort zone in starting a new career and business and need all of the uplifting and self doubt armor that I can get. Love the part that you shared. Much luck on you new book.

  332. Mel Anthony says:

I love your Proverbs 31 Ministry! I would love to win copies of the Confident Heart devotional for myself and my best friend, Cel. We both have been through so much this side of Heaven, and struggle with fear and incessant insecurities daily. It’s funny we believe God’s promises for each other with our whole heart, but when it comes to believing it for ourselves, it’s a struggle! We love the Lord and each other, and are determined to continue to walk this “path’ together with Christ in the center….the daily devotional would be such an asset for our continued journey!

  333. Self esteem and self worth – and knowing who I am are issues I have struggled with all my life – would love to be set free!

  334. I want to share God’s love with other women!!

  335. I have been enjoying Proverbs 31 online devotionals for years. I have purchased Lysa Terkuerst’s book, Unglued and Becoming more than a good Bible Study Girl. I would love to read a Confident Heart. I definitley need a confidence boost and need to learn to lean on Our Heavenly Father more. Thanks for all you do through Christ!

  336. Linda Chaplin says:

As women we have such a huge responsibility of how our lives affect so many others. It seems our actions and thoughts can inspire or completely discourage those around us such as husbands, children, grandchildren, fellow Christians, co-workers and the list goes on and on. I want to learn to have complete trust and victory in the power of Jesus so I can be part of God’s plan to break the chains that hold so many women back from “joy unspeakable” in the Lord. Just reading the notes about your new book “A Confident Heart” already inspires me today to begin this journey of “turning my thoughts into God’s thoughts” and sharing this excitement of hope to those around me!

  337. Linda Wilkin says:

I read all Proverb 31 Ministries Devotionals. + love all of them. You always address problems that happen in every day life.

  338. Cheri King says:

I would love the book to help my daily life grow in God.

  339. I would love to win the book for me and my bestie! We have been with each other through thick and thin. She helped me walk through the illness of my husband and his death. And I’ve helped her through family battles of her own. We both did the “When Women Say “Yes” To God” and we’d love to journey through this devotion too.

God is so good….all the time!!

  340. As women we need to be reminded of God’s plan for us and the security we should have in His love. I would love to have another resource to remind me how to rest assured in the peace He has for us!

  341. This would be a great devotional for my two daughters and myself. We have enjoyed this ministry for some time now and have been blessed tremendously through it. God bless and keep you as you daily minister to us. You are in my prayers.

    Love In Christ!

  342. Thanks for this book and the OBS. I already have the book but would like to have the devotional for myself and a friend so we can grow into having a more confident heart. By the way, the friend doing this study with me is not another woman but my boyfriend. We are both learning and it just goes to show that men also desire a Confident heart. 🙂

  343. I would love to win this for my mother in law & I. I had such a great opportunity to share what I’ve learned in my local women’s bible study with her this past Sunday in a casual conversation. She is so compelled to learn & draw closer to the Lord but doesn’t feel like she is good enough (who of us is)- it would be a great way to boost her confidence in Him & her worth in his eyes.

  344. Dalaina Smith says:

Would love to work through this devotional with the other ladies in my church! I think this would open many opportunities to share the Word with others!

  345. Paige Robertson says:

I think we all struggle with having a confident heart in this current society that we are living in. However, my concern today is for my three daughters. One in high school, one in middle school and one in elementary. They are faced with such difficult situations, especially the older two. As a mother, I pray and am constantly looking for literature or opportunities that will allow me to teach them through God “how to have a confident heart” and how to make decisions that are consistant with their values. It is hard! This book would be a wonderful asset to bring all of us together in this journey towards raising girls/women who are confident through Christ. If I could get multiple books and the dvd, it might even allow the opportunity to bring other teenage girls together to pass along the same message. Thank you for writing this book!

  346. Stephanie D. says:

I enjoy reading Renee Swope. I would love to win because I homeschool and believe me there are doubts everyday!!! I am in Gods word daily and direct my children in the same manner. There are times that is so hard though. My sister in law homeschools as well and she would so love to have one too. Thank you for this chance.

  347. I’m currently a part of the P31 OBS where we’re reading your book. What a great accompaniment the devotional would make for the bible study.

PS – The testimony at the beginning of Chapter 3…I would have thought you were writing my OWN story. Thanks for sharing!

  348. I would love to share this devotional with my sister-in-law, who has been through many trials and whose confidence has really taken a beating.

  349. Lara Johndrow says:

I would so love to be able to share this with a friend! My favorite friend and I are always looking for something new to go through together!

  350. Its even hard to express my gratitude for your devotionals, the one i can say is Im thankful you are so sentitive to the Holy Spirit. I ve had one of my most challenging and dificult months of my life, and was incredible that , every morning when I opened my email the devocional of the day spoke straight into my situation on that specific day. Some nights i would wake up in the middle of the it and hope that your email already came throufh because I knew God would speak to me and strenghten me for another day. I dont know how all the other people felt about the devocionals since they were written specific for me ; ) . I m extremely appreciative of your ministry, and share on my FB page frequently and email to my friends too. I really dont know how I would have copped without it. thank

  351. Just had brain surgery started out with a bloodclot on the right lung and it traveled to the left side had to have emergency surgery before I bled to death and died. The lord was with me he has work for me to do so it wasn’t my time to go yet. Had my first surgery which took six hours came out and had to go back in two hours later God is Good! I now have cognitive memeory loss and can’t use my right side but waiting to hear from social security applied for disability keep me in your prayers. This book would help me get through the rough times in my life I am now facing.

  352. This would be so great to do this devotional with my bff. Thanks renee

  353. Laura Burmaster says:

I’ve been looking for a new devotional book to host an informal study with some friends and acquaintances. I love reading Renee Swope’s thoughts through the email devotions and this book looks perfect for our needs. I’m so, so grateful for Proverbs 31 ministries. It has kept me afloat during many trying times. Love and blessings to all of you!

  354. I have loved my emails from Proverbs 31 and loved A Confident Heart. I am looking forward to the devotional, maybe a little challenging for my not so confident heart stuck in a world where i am afraid to let walls down.

  355. Ardis Rivera says:

I enjoy the devotional emails so much and am always looking for books that will help me in my work as missionary in Mexico. Finances are many times tight because of investing in the ministry here, and I look for as many things as I can get to help me in teaching the various classes that I have to teach here. I also use these books as tools for teaching English and use them with non-Christians that come to me for classes. The books would be going into homes that don’t know Christ through English classes.

  356. I am recently divorced and want to live by faith in what god can do instead of fear of what satan might do. I also want to be able to teach others to do the same. Thank you!

  357. Carmen D'Souza says:

I want to grow stronger and closer to my Lord.

  358. Melissa Sarlo says:

Confident Heart was a life changing book. Growing up I struggled with who I was in Christ and after my husbands affair I felt like I hit rock bottom. This book helped me out of a pit and taught me to see how God sees me. I also work in Youth Ministry and this book has been instrumental for the teen girls I mentor. I refer to Confident Heart all the time and this devotional would just aid in the ministry God has called me to; teaching young girls who they are in Christ and showing them they are deeply loved by an incredible Savior and that we are truly His Beloved Masterpiece.

  359. Maggie Voth says:

I am currently in the Proverbs 31 OBS studying, A Confident Heart, so I would love to win this devo book to go along with it!

  360. I’d been separated from my husband for 19 months ( 23 yrs of marriage) and reading daily devotionals from Proverbs 31 and Renee had help me greatly in those days in which everything seems dark and hopeless.. I share them with my co-worker and it helps us both to tackle our work day in an office enviroment in which we deal with pain and abuse in a daily basis ( we work for a Domestic Violence Unit)

  361. Hannah bailey says:

I struggle as I am sure many women do with not believing the lies that flood my soul. It is a moment by moment battle and I am so desperate for God’s truth to set me free and to give me the strength and confidence I need each day to live in His truth and grace! I would love a devotional like this one that God could use to do just that!

  362. Renee, thank YOU so much for your daily encouragement to women globally. The peek that I had today on your new book is DYNAMITE! Like what you said, I’m my worst critic of myself. For whatever the reasons, I’m my biggest worst AM commentator! I need to tune in to the powerful FM channel. If God is for me, who can be against me? My actions going forward, is to align my thoughts with God’s truth like you said:
“As my thoughts aligned with God’s truth, my whole perspective changed. I went from feeling afraid to feeling determined, from feeling out of control to knowing God is in control.”
I’m sure most of the women will also share your book with the men in their lives. God bless you, sister!

  363. Reading your book ” A Confident Heart” helped me to place my confidence where it really belongs, with the Lord! Since then, He has enabled me to share my story with other women in a small group for married couples where I have started teaching a women’s session every few weeks. I want other women to see and experience that God wastes nothing in our past and when we place our confidence in Him. I hope the devotional will help me day-by-day to stay on track and help others along the way.

  364. Having recently entered into an extremely difficult and unexpected season of life, I’m learning dependence on God but my faith is being tested, and my courage and strength shaken. Would love to have this for encouragement through this hard time

  365. I would love to win this devotional! There are so many times in my life that I feel like I’m not good enough at either being a good wife, mother or just overall person. I’ve been through a divorce and remarried. My new husband had an affair after we were together for 2 years…it went off and on for 2 years without me even knowing. I immediately forgave him, because I know that is what the bible tells us to do. I’m not in the place to put judgement on anyone. However; the pain and grief that I went through to heal was a lot to handle! I thought of suicide, but then I thought about my kids and family that love me. We are still together and I have grown to trust him and I think being through something so tragic has made our relationship that much stronger. I have to thank God for that miracle work in my life!

  366. I am loving the Confident Heart book and online Bible study! I am sure this book will be a great addition!

  367. A Confident Heart is my go-to book when I’m struggling with insecurity & doubt because it points me right to God’s encouraging word! I stopped counting how many times I’ve read it – at least once a year! I face insecurity constantly and I would LOVE to have the devotional book to really help me with this battle!! Blessings! Huge thanks to Renee and Proverbs31!

  368. Donna Lawson says:

This is my second time reading this book and I absolutely love it. I find that daily devotionals are extremely helpful in applying what we learn through bible studies to our lives

  369. Rita Brown says:

Would so love to win this book to help me elevate my faith! Praise God!

  370. The past 2 years have been tough and I’ve been dealing with depression. I build up my confidence to only let others and situations knock it back down again. Hoping and praying that the ACH OBS I am currently enrolled in will help me overcome this and realize/remember that God is my confidence, not people and things and situations. I have several books by P31 authors with their companion devotionals and they really compliment each other.

  371. I am so excited for this devotional! I am doing the P31 Bible Study of A Confident Heart and know this devotional will just cap it off nicely! Blessings!

  372. I need to remember God’s promises to me so I can repeat them to myself when fear and worry come my way! I can’t wait to do this devotional!

  373. Christie Davis says:

I would love to win this package as we are a very small church and we have started a Soul Sister group for the women. We meet on Wednesday nights as a group to go through a book together so we can grow in the Lord and build a relationship with each other. I believe this book would be great for that class and what a blessing to everyone to be able to do it at no charge. Thank you for the opportunity and look forward to hearing from you!!

  374. My friend and I are going through some changes…New seasons…job loss (We work together) We both need the confidence to go forward in God’s plan with boldness and confidence…Would really like for you to keep us in prayer….

  375. Debbie Parker says:

I would love to win these books as I need these encouraging words. I am in a very tough period and keep feeling God is against me. I need encouragement to help me remember the truth.

  376. I have been struggling with feeling insecure and wanting to know God really does love me. Proverbs 31 ha been the best devotion I have found and I find so much peace and wisdom from it everyday. I would love to read the new book they are advertising A Confident Heart Devotional.

  377. Kim Holmes says:

I would really love to win today’s drawing. I am the house mother at a new Faith based Homeless Shelter for Women and Children in my town. I know that I could use this daily devotional for myself to keep me encouraged in times of doubt and stress and I have a friend, who lives at this shelter also, that is a new believer in Christ and we were just talking yesterday about how she wants to grow more, but she gets confused on reading the bible and just likes to read the devotionals that I have given to her. I think this would make a wonderful gift for her. Thank you for letting the Lord use you to reach so many. May God continue to bless you.

  378. I would love to win this package so that I can bless a sweet friend who is at a very difficult juncture in her life.

  379. I am so excited about this book! I am going through a time of dealing with fear and insecurity and I think this book would be a great one for me to have! I haven’t been able to go to church or be around friends because of the anxiety and insecurity. It has been a battle for 10 years now and waxes and wanes. I am working on renewing my mind with God’s word.

  380. I’m excited to do the devotional!

  381. I looking for a learning tool to help me become more confident, strong and free in the word of God. I feel the Lord is truly pulling and tugging at my heart. I love the Lord and He has heard my cried and this devotional book will help me with my journey.

  382. I am a seeker always searching for information and teachings. Your delivery and faith truly resonate with me.
I would deeply appreciate any gift you share.

  383. Allison Crow says:

I suggested doing the Confident Heart bible study with my Emmaus reunion group so we started a week late on Mon. Oct. 21st and there were 7 of us. We had some good discussions. The devotional sounds really awesome. Thanks Proverbs 31 ministry

  384. I am doing the online bible study and I actually feel changes happening inside of me, especially my thought patterns. I’m much more aware of not allowing the belittling thoughts that usually rule me all the time. It would be so cool to win – winning is fun. 🙂

  385. Cant wait for this book to come out. So excited to see what God has planned for me.

  386. I love good devotional books!

  387. Lara Hudson says:

The Bible is full of God’s promises for His followers, us His children, His beloved. The world, self and Satan daily remind us of the ways we fall short, lies about you we are and where we have failed. What a blessed reminder this daily devotional is of the truths that can hold us secure in the joy, promises and security available to Christ’s beloved.

  388. This is a complete confirmation for me this morning from a prophetic word last night! But God!!!!! And, SO EXCITED to see what is in store!

  389. I would love to win a Confident Heart Devotional book for myself and a friend! I help lead a moms’ group called FLOURISH, and I am always looking for encouragement and inspiration to pass on to others. I have already been blessed by reading Renee’s book and watching her videos.

  390. Despite the many doubts I have about myself, there is no doubt in my mind that God gave you a message to write in this book! I know that feelings of doubt, inadequacy, and insecurity fill my mind just about daily – it is a huge struggle for me. And yet (I’m going to be really honest here) I have not yet read your book, even though every time I read something about the book I think it must have been written just for me. I even signed up for the current online bible study through P31 (with Melissa Taylor) and am already behind. I had my mother get it on her kindle when the book first came out just so I could borrow it and read it, and while she did read it and said it was very good, I have yet to read it. I’m not even sure what keeps holding me back from actually reading this book when the promos for the book seem to speak to my heart every time. So, thank you for every giveaway you have and every opportunity to win materials to help us step over the struggle!

  391. I’ve heard really good things about this book! So excited it will now be a devotional. I hope to share it with a colleague who has begun attending Bible Study with me. We all struggle with insecurities and the search for identity.

  392. Tina Ziegler says:

I’ve been reding Provers 31 for years and over e last 6 months I have felt as though god has more planned for me. I’ve been praying about what

  393. I could see this book/devotional bringing peace to a friend in need.

  394. Just from reading the unsure of this devotional I know that this book will be a tremendous blessing and encouragement to Christian women.

  395. A confident heart to combat the lies of Satan with the truth of God is what this exhausted momma and people pleaser needs. I have been encouraged by your devotionals over at Proverbs 31 and I have needed it in this hectic time of life.

  396. Angie Gainey says:

I would love to win these two devotionals because I feel that I could benefit from them. i could also share them with my teenage daughter to help encourage her on her daily walk with Christ.

  397. I am so excited about the devotional and a chance to win it and other great prizes because I am currently doing this OBS for a Confident heart and it has made me realize and learn ,much about myself and my relationship with God. I love it and look forward to other OBS. renee Swope’s book is amazing. please enter me in the competition.

  398. Melissa Haselby says:

This is my second time reading this book and it honestly has changed my life! I would love to win this new book because all my life I have struggled with self doubt, negative talk, etc. However when I read Confident Heart it was like Jesus was speaking to me. I would like to just flourish on that and use this devotional. I have a new mom friend that could really use this and it would be a great excuse for us to get together once a week 🙂 However, I trust that whoever wins this will be blessed immensely! Thank you! 🙂

  399. Erin Peters says:

Looking forward to getting this devotional for myself and my best friend. She struggles with doubt. I’ve tried to get her to read the book, but she doesn’t like to read a lot, so the devotional would be perfect for her!

  400. April Wade says:

I have not heard of this book before but it sounds like exactly what I need. I will have to get the book but wld love to have this devo to go along with it. I’ve been a little discouraged with myself lately.

  401. Orenda Smith says:

I am doing this study now with Proverbs 31 and WOW! It has open my eyes to so much and I would love to read the devotional along with it…

  402. Tina Ziegler says:

I’ve been reding Provers 31 for years and over the last 6 months I have felt as though God has more planned for me. I’ve been praying about what path to take but am not getting a clear answer. I really feel A Confident Heart would be just what I need to boost my insecurities and help me hear Gods word more clearly.

  403. Marianne Johnson says:

WOW! Renee, this could NOT be more perfect timing and just what the doctor ordered! I have been an educator for 31 years, and in a leadership role for the past 7 year! I knew when this leadership position fell in my lap, that God had an amazing plan for me. I know it is time to retire and move into a different career, but I am so afraid! God has recently been calling me to step out of my comfort zone. Two weeks ago God called me to speak at a women’s retreat. I also recently memorized a 10 paragraph monologue and performed this live in front of 500 church members. Both times I have been so amazed at what God was and is doing through my life. Right NOW more than ever I need a confident heart! I am faithful and I will move when God says move, but at times I am so unsure. I would absolutely LOVE to read your book and the new devotional. I saw your book advertrised online this morning and jumped at the chance to send you a message. I am the clay that God is molding!

  404. MaryAnn Hale says:

I am going through the Proverbs 31 Online Bible Study and this devotional would be a nice addition to that. Additionally, I know other women who can benefit from this study.

  405. I have not heard of this study series and book but I would love to read and study more!!!

  406. I’ve been blessed by P31 ministries for many years and have found every devotional and resource to be biblical and practical for building up and challenging women to grow in their walk. I love Renee’s writing. Her honesty and insight are Spirit-filled. Blessings to everyone working there at P31! I look forward to gifting this book to a sister.

  407. Would love this book. Leaving my church after 38 years and being a stay at home mom, I don’t want to miss out on anything inspirational!! I LOVE TO READ! This would help me on a daily basis. I love reading the devotionals in my email daily!! ♥

  408. Telia Carman says:

I need more confidence, God confidence! Would love to receive this devotional and even if I don’t win it, will most likely buy it! Thank you for all you do!

  409. I believe that myself and my best friend, Shelly, could both benefit greatly from these books. I have struggled with self-esteem my entire life and moreso recently than ever. I am a mother of three beautiful children, but am very unhappy in my marriage. My best friend is a single mother to two daughters; her oldest, who is 14, is struggling with addiction and is being treated in a Christian facility miles away from home.

Every day is a struggle for me; I am always trying to figure out what God wants to do with my life and try to live as a positive role model for Him, but He is truly challenging my spirit. I know the love of Christ, but have found myself questioning it lately and that is now how I want to live. I want to be confident, strong and free; able to share and show my love for Christ day in and day out!

  410. I really need this right now. I am walking through a very difficult time, feeling like everything and everyone is against me. Praying and doing everything that I know to do, but continue to feel crushed and alone. I really need to hear His truths instead of all the lies that are running through my head. Seeking His presence and direction and think this new devo book would help.

    • Praying for you as God comes alongside you and walks with you through these difficult times. Praying He comforts you and takes away those feelings of being crushed.

      Renee Swope’s Ministry Team

  411. I have been a subscriber to the Proverbs31 Ministries newsletter for many years and it never ceases to amaze me how each topic can be applied to situations that I am currently or have gone through in my life.

This new 60 day devotional is exactly what I need at this point in my life and more specifically, in my new 3 month old love relationship. I believe that God has ordained this relationship, but it is like no other relationship I’ve ever had. For the first time ever, I am involved with a man that has a true heart of God, is more mature than me (is the 1st older man, he’s 53 and I’m 46), is way above me intellectually, and has a God-give knowledge of the Word of God. Needless to say, I am very intimidated by him in that knowledge, even though he encourages me to be more confident. That’s why I say that I believe this book is exactly what I need to take me out of that fear and into the confidence in God towards becoming the woman He has and is calling me to be.

  412. Mary Davidson says:

First of all my girlfriend and I are planning to see you next September 2014 in Findlay, OH. We go each year to the Reaching Women Conference there. We are from Windsor, ON Canada. But it’s our girlfriends weekend away. So I am very excited for that. What really caught my attention was this book being good for a friend who has fallen away from God; and sadly my girlfriend has and is struggling deeply. She has just gone through a divorce and depression and began to question God and His existence and significance in her life. It breaks my heart and of course the heart of God. It would wonderful to give her the book and for her and I to be able to read it together and discuss it. II also forward the devotionals that I am on the email list for. Not everyone but the ones I feel led to forward. Thanking for what you do. Be blessed, Mary Davidson

  413. I am very much looking forward to doing this bible study. I have been going through a very tough year, and have struggled to keep my eyes focused on God. I feel like I am barely holding on. But I am holding on! I know I have to go through this illness for a reason, even if it is to simply turn to Him for my strength. I am certain that this study will direct me, and strengthen me – through this , and the rest of my life. I hope to share this with a dear friend who is struggling with her own issues. I know we can help each other through this study. Thank you for your faith, and love. I am excited!

  414. Sherry Holeman says:

I would love to win these books for me and my daughter. I struggle with confidence due to abuse I suffered as a child. With God’s help I have overcome negative feelings and work with girls in our church to be overcomers as well. My daughter feels called to be a youth pastor and I think this book would help her as she pursues her calling. Thank you for pouring your heart out into other women to help us know that we can be overcomers and confident women.

  415. Michelle Weber says:

Sounds like a wonderful book! I would love to read it and share it with others! I love the fact that it is a 60 day devotional. Would be great for an intimate woman’s group!

  416. I’m feeling lost and don’t know where to start…my mom, step-dad, and my 20 yr old kitty died all in the last 7 months. I love the Lord and I feel I am a disappointment to my Lord, because I’ve been distracted and have drifted away from being the woman after God’s own heart. I would love to feel more grounded, and feel closer to the Lord. My best-friend and sister in Christ has been by my side through all of my trials. Your devotion book would be a blessing to me, so I can begin on my journey to living the life God’s designed for me and as a thank you for my friend…I would love for her to journey with me through the Confident Heart Devotional. Thank you and God’s blessings to you Renee.

  417. I am so thankful for my children and the career God blessed me with for 12 years, however a traumatic divorce and on going custody issues have left me drained and a shell of who I once was. I know God has brought me through everything and will never leave me, but I have debilitating anxiety and low self-esteem. Confidence is something this former television news anchor has never been short of or at least I faked it until I made it. But now confidence is something I struggle with daily, trying to find my way once again as a single mother of three children. I would love to share this with another woman who is struggling. I want to overcome and once again be the woman God created!!

  418. Karen Bridges says:

Dear Renee, You will never know how tremendously and miraculously God has used your book not only for me but for Saving My Marriage! I don’t want to take up to much space to write but on Jan 9th 2009 I found out that my husband of 26 years had been betraying me in the worst most horrific ways possible that a husband could ever do to his wife. I didn’t just find out he was looking at Porn or had an affair although these painful sins were included in his Disclosure to me. No the trauma I faced was thinking I had a loving Christian husband but instead he was living a sinfully double life. Throughout the past 4 years he has disclosed to me that he has had sex at 19 massage parlors, multiple strip clubs, lingerie studios, 2 affairs one with my best friend and was heavily addicted to Porn for many years. And I NEVER knew nor suspected anything. These past 4 years in this Journey of Trauma and Healing has been the hardest most painful things I’ve ever gone through. There were many times I didn’t even want to live. God has used many counselors, women’s groups, and books and materials to help in my healing. But I must truthfully say when I read Confident Woman I wept through the entire book. See all my confidence had been stripped. I didn’t know who I was any longer or what the truth was about me. But your book inspired by the Holy Spirit has provided the confidence and comfort I have so desperately needed on this Journey. I want to say that it is only a miracle and having a Repentant humbled transformed Husband and God also Transforming my heart that we have stayed together through all of this and have been married for 32 years as we Renewed our Vows last year. I have had the priviledge to give your book to family members and friends and they all have been deeply touched and transformed by God’s inspired word through you. Thank you doesn’t seem adequate enough for being a huge instrument in saving my marriage. Please keep writing you never know how your writing will touch so many different women that are hurting and in need of God Confidence! I know today that no matter what my husband should choose to do in the future that I am safe and secure in Christ because He is my Husband, My first love and I am His Princess Warrior! Many Blessings, Karen Bridges

  419. Like most women, my girlfriends and I struggle with busy schedules and finding balance. This devotional book would be a great resource for daily dependence on God.

    • I need a confident heart. The valley experience is bearable only because of the God’s unfailing grace and lovingkindness. I am in my mid fifties, separated after 27 years of marriage, alone, isolated and no transportation or financial securitysecurity, so it is difficult right now. I am sustained in prayer and His word, and He takes good care of me. seeking answers. I don’t know. I would love to win and i ask for prayers. God bless you all. I pray especially for those who are walking a valley experience of your own. His Unfailing Grace Sustains.

  420. Dana Julian says:

I’m looking for a good devotional book to help me with some better direction for my personal Bible study and devotional time. I often feel overwhelmed with so many responsibilities and long to be more like Jesus and more devoted to Him. I love the Proverbs31 devotional emails that I receive daily and would love to read the Confident Heart devotional and book.

  421. I am going through a growing period and feeling pretty beat up by the world today, but KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is in control. I know He has called me to be a stay at home mom, I am walking in faith and praying through the “timing” aspect of it, along with my husband. We are growing in our financial faith. Proverbs 31 Ministry has gotten me through a very tough last 2 years. Thank you to all the ladies who have been giving Godly words and loving, humble hearts that have shared with us.

  422. Renee’s devotionals are the reason I started subscribing to Proverbs 31 emails! As a new momma she calmed my nerves and spoke truth to my heart. How awesome to experience that truth daily! So excited for the devotional!

  424. suzie krueger says:

I would love to get the devotional and share with a friend. I do my best to read devotionals and spend time with God each day yet I still struggle with anxiety and depression. I feel a lack of self-confidence in myself and a need a boost to remind me that I am a child of the most high and am a special part of His creation. Devotionals to me are little reminders of Gods help in our life and the words that create the strength we need to survive and thrive. I pray for the Lord’s blessing and for thank Him for blessing you with the talent to create a devotional that can touch so many lives.

Having grown up abandoned by my father, taken from my mother by my grandfather, then being constantly “reminded” that nothing I did was ever good enough, I struggle with believing that God believes in me, or even loves me sometimes. I struggle with anxiety issues as well. God put a woman who has the same struggles (even almost identical circumstances) into my life. This book would be an excellent daily reminder that we truly are loved and worthy to God.

  436. Count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have it’s perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4

This was where The Lord brought me this morning. I can’t wait to see His final destination for my life. There have been many changes in my life. I would love to read this book and get insight on how to have a confident heart through my journey. It is something I have not had in a very long time if ever.

  437. LOVED this book!! Can’t wait for the devotional!! It is so perfect for me, at this point in my life, as I struggle to build my business, I definitely could use the daily devotionals to be strong and courageous!

  438. Good morning! I saw your giveaway link and decided to leave you a comment. I call myself “the posterchild for codependence”. Due to many unhealthy factors during my childhood, I created a “black place” inside myself where I saw, felt, and heard nothing except buzzing. I liken this to a sort of walled off capsule inside of me, where there was all the pain, fear, anger and shame that I avoided experiencing. Several years ago, God decided that I was finally ready to deal with those things, and that shell broke open. Along with all those emotions I mentioned came paranoia, delusion, denial, demonic opression, and childlike immaturity. I am a wife and mother of 8 children and had a full-time job. The resulting crash was not pretty. I have spent the past several years since coming out of the delusionary state working very intensely and deliberately in dealing with exactly what your book talks about. There have been various low points along the way, but I can testify that God has used this trial in my life to refine me and purify my heart, but I still need to be very intentional.

  439. I am just like many other women who struggle with insecurities. These feeling often hinder my relationship with God and other in my life. I would love this book to help as a resource to gain victory over this issue!

  440. Always looking for new devotions and would love to be able to share with a friend as well.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share Gods love with others. Be blessed!!!!

  450. Amy Jackson says:

Since learning about Proverbs 31 ministries, my soul has been fed in so many ways — daily devotionals, book studies, on-line Bible studies, power verses, etc. As a mother of young children, I know this would speak to me. My only problem would be deciding with which friend in the same boat to share the second copy!

  451. I would love to have this devotional!

  452. Vicki White says:

I can’t wait to continue the journey I started with “A Confident Heart” by getting the book of devotionals! I hope to be able to share this with my Bible study group for Christmas! Thank you, Renee, for your faithfulness and transparency…God has used your books to change many lives!!! God bless you!

  453. Casey Swartz says:

I am in need of some direction. My husband passed away in a tragic car accident on his way to work at the age of 40. That was May 31, 2012. I have been struggling ever since.

  454. Confidence is hard to come by sometimes. I have struggled with weight and dieting my whole life. I was finally able to quiet my heart enough to hear God tell me that my body is a temple for the Holy spirit and I don’t have to feel trapped anymore. Now that I am winning the battle of the bulge I could sure use some help building that confidence! Looking forward to a great read!

  456. I’d like to win these two devos for me and my daughter. She is going through some medical challenges. Presently she is not driving and depends on several to get her to work. She has a doctor’s appointment in 3 weeks and will be making a decision about a treatment. Doing the same devotional will deepen our relationship further. Being in the Word everyday together may help her come to peace about the decisions she will make. We may not live close to each other, but we can talk and message each other each day about what we are reading!

  457. I would give this devotional to my precious daughter, who homeschools her 4 children under the age of 13. She leads and teaches them in the truth of the Lord.

  458. Rowzina Middleton says:

This past years trials have really shaken my faith. My confidence level in God and myself has gone up and down. This devotional will enable me to remain consistent in my walk with Christ and be a light to those around me.

  459. Jocelyn Lewis says:

The first line of the book description is what I need desparately. “Exchange fear-filled thinking with faith filled believing!”

Even if I don’t win, I will buy this book and encourage my friends to do the same. In this world, we need all of the strength and support we can find – and we need to share it with one another.

2 Books! first thought that came to mind was “Don’t get greedy” I Love that I have joined this OBS it has given me an opportunity for great communication among a Dear friendship. We have used this OBS to help encourage each other through our daily battles. The great part has been that she is in IL and I am in AR. We have been dear friends for 25 years and have always been able to encourage each other but one or the other or even both would have doubts during our battles. Like Gideon. Well being apart of this study has given us encouragement together. I have been spreading the word about OBS and now want everyone I know to join. It is great to know that we aren’t the only ones who needed this.
Thank you for committing and obeying GOD!

I know I could benefit from this devotional but money is so tight for my daughter and me right now. I would really appreciate being able to win a free copy. Thank you for your consideration of my request! — Shelly Thomas

  476. Why Id like to win a NEW Confident Heart Devotional book for myself and a friend is because I am learning through this study to rely on him even more than I have in the pasted with the little and bigger things because of this study and would love to continue with daily reminders to help me.

I have a girlfriend that I feel would really benefit from reading this and it would be a great present for her. I really feel that she could use it to deepen her walk with Jesus/God much more than it is now. Thank you for this opportunity for submitting a chance to win this!

  477. The last two years have been a true journey in the wilderness for me. My husband walked away from our marriage and our family, had a baby with one of his mistresses, and has made the divorce process as slow and painful as possible. In the beginning, I immediately wanted to blame myself and question why I wasn’t good enough. The book “A Confident Heart” helped me retrain my thoughts and see myself through God’s eyes. It was a great tool to go along with my quiet time and helped me realize where most of my insecurities and hurts stemmed from. I am still on the journey, but it is much more pleasurable knowing who I am in Christ and it is so worth it. One day, I will be able to fall at His feet and praise Him forever so this moment of suffering is minor. The Lord has revealed so much to me through brokenness and continues to teach me to completely trust Him. He led me on my first foreign mission trip. When I thought that there was no way I could possibly help someone in need because I myself was hurting, He quickly showed me what a blessing it was for me, not just the people I was serving. Dealing with a Narcissist spouse can quickly drain your spirit as well as being a single parent who strives to do the absolute best for her child. I rest in knowing that the Lord has a perfect plan and this is all part of His planned future for mine and my child’s lives. I pray that any woman facing similar situations has a relationship with Christ and finds her worth and confidence in Him. His love is captivating, His strength is unbreakable, and His faithfulness is absolutely beyond amazing.

  481. Rebecca Cornwell says:

This devotional would be great for me! I am a Bible College student and am always so easily finding myself swerving away from what God has for me. Satan tries to get us harder when we are were God wants us to be. The day after the winner is picked I will be clean 2 1/2 years from cutting. Satan tempts me most to try and go back to that. I won’t do it! But I do need daily encouragement to stay on the path that God has called me to be on.

  488. Feelings of deep-seeded insecurity have plagued the women on my mother’s side of the family for generations! This is something I personally struggle with on a regular basis. I have struggled with being a “people pleaser” all my life and although, I’ve made others happy, I would make myself miserable in many situations. This would be an awesome follow-up to the P31 study of the book. I’d likely find a group of friends with whom to share it, not just one. I’ve been feeling led to start something at work, and this would be just the thing to kick it off.

I am a one-parent family and the Lord knows my heart but I am often tired, over worked and lack confidence that I am doing things “right”. 517. Chanel Rodriguez says:

First i would like to just thank God for blessing you with such spiritual wisdom, and your obediance to write. it’s such a life changing inspirational and very empowering way to over come, those deep wounds and insecurities that are such lies that hold some of us in a place of not being able to be who we are called to be in Christ Jesus. God has delivered me from abusive relationships, substances abuse and self destruction and i’m still in so much more need of His Divine healing and deliverence so that i can be able to build relationship with others for the Glory of God. Being a positive and Godly influence to other women and young girls like my daughter and her peers. A mature Christian that has been awakened,by the Glory of God and the Holy Spirit and not have to struggle so much with negative thoughts. Thanks for taking the time to read my cry for God’s help……

May God continue to pour out His Spirit of Blessing to you and you family. Chanel

  518. Chelsie Hendrickson says:

The reason I would say that these devotions would be so great to have would be because the book is so wonderful now. It is taking every ounce of me to trust God and it already is showing my identity in him. The brilliant thing is not only is the study good but it is going along with my home church. It has already been effective on my life. The devotions would be so great and just having more of that affirmation from God is so powerful too.

I’ve been trying to escape a domestic violent relationship. I’ve endured so much loss and hardship, it’s hard to feel like God is still there. I’m losing confidence in myself and in who He is.

Insecurity and self doubt are my two biggest areas of struggle. These two things have effected every area of my life in some way. I have dealt with this since childhood so many of my choices and circumstances have been a result of my insecurity. I have been seeking God for years in this area. I know all of God’s truths from an intellectual level but for some reason I can’t get into my heart. I believe that not until I can get all of God’s truths to seep into my heart will I ever be truly free.

  534. I would love to win this so that I can give the copies to two of my friends for their birthdays that are coming up! I’m certain that God sent each one of them into mine and my daughter’s lives. It was because of each one of these ladies that I was able to come back and resume my walk with Christ and that my daughter has love and seeks him now. It seems that whenever I am especially struggling, I will get a call or a text or a visit from one of them. I don’t need the book for me. God has given me and my daughter these two wonderful ladies to fellowship with. However, it sure would make a perfect gift. I know the message(s) that is/are for me and my daughter in the book will received through fellowship with them.

  535. I have been a subscriber of the Proverbs 31 daily devotionals for many years. On more than one occasion, the day’s topic has been exactly what I needed – some of them get saved off onto my hard drive or printed out to share with my girlfriends. Thank you all for all that you do!

I felt I always had to be with a man, not matter how bad it was. Now being married for twenty three years w a husband that has been through a lot with me. 544. I would love to receive this. I am a mother of three boys. I have always struggled with my own self esteem and depression. I am finding this is not helping making life easier with children who have social, behavioral, and physical issues. My marriage is also suffering. I am having trouble being the role model I know I have in me and am trying to find myself as God sees me and not as I do.

  545. Carol Duncan says:

I have been walking in a valley since June and as of right now, there is no end in sight. My husband was a worship pastor at a local church until he was asked to leave in June. There was no legitimate reason for a small group of people to ask him to leave but made up reasons and then attacked his character with their lies. They even broke NC employment laws but nobody seems to care. The severance package ended a month ago and now money is scarce. During all this, comments were made about me that has left me doubting myself and my talents. I could use some encouragement and some good news.

  546. I would love to win this devotional and share it with my best friend who, as a widow, is raising 3 little boys alone.

  549. Marsha Lehan says:

One thing I find interesting is that when you are really down. I mean $10 a week food budget. Always looking for work. You can get tools to help no how to listen, get help, pray, or ask God for help or even ask for prayers because you DO NOT have the money. I do not believe this is what would please God.

  550. A devotional can be the first step to the rest of your day. I would love to make it a great one. This devotional seems to be geared toward Women with a lot going on and that shoe fits my foot! 553. Pamela Valkema says:

I’d actually like to win this as a gift for a friend. She has battled low self-esteem for as long as I have known her and a series of events in the last 3 years only has added to this perception. I see this book as a tool, along with the love of Christ in her, as a possible way for her to begin overcoming her destructive low self-esteem issue. It would please me dearly to be able to give her this tool as a way to her own healing.

  554. I am new at really developing my relationship with God. I grew up with Catholic upbringing and went thru all the rituals that many Catholic children go through but feeling like God was always so far away and never really developing a relationship with him. I spent a good portion of my life full of fear and God seemed so far away. I always felt like I was on my own and at times that was a very lonely place to be. I masked my fear, anxiety and pain with many different addictions including drugs, alcohol, food, sex and relationships but with each one could never find enough of them to fill the black hole inside my soul. I became broken beyond repair. After losing both my parents and entering into and extremely unhealthy relationship I denounced God and entered the darkest period of my life. I almost died from alcohol addiction and abuse in a relationship. One night when I thought I could go on no more I got down on my knees and asked God to help me and save me from this darkness that I had entered into. I knew I either had to surrender totally to God or die. Thus began my journey back into faith. It was baby steps and a lot of work with counselors, support groups but ultimately when I hit another emotional bottom a couple of years ago I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and thats when the things truly started to change for me. I am a newly reborn Christian Woman. I would love to win this book to continue to establish and grow in my relationship with Jesus. Thank you!

  555. I love the book, I’m excited to read the devotional!

  556. Renee’s book “A Confident Heart” was an absolute life-changer for me!! I truly thought it was written just for me. I need to read it again and again. 560. Oh my goodness….My friends and I SOOOO need to stop being so hard on ourselves! Show us how!

  561. Pat Parker says:

So many times, I wake up with GOOD INTENTIONS. I TELL myself God loves me as I am, I can do all things, etc… I am confident inside, and then comes the test and I fail often. “I’m too afraid to teach that class at co op” ” what if I missed God hearing this or that” etc………. This sounds like a great book.

  562. Kim Peterson says:

I love this book so far! It speaks to me!!! I’m so ready to erase the doubt and fully put all my trust in God and know that he is always with me. Thank you so much for this book and I’m thrilled for the chance to win the devotional book!
    Thank you!!!

I would love to win a copy of the new devotional. I have been starting each day for almost the past 2 years now with Jesus Calling, and though I love it, was wanting to look for a new devotional. This seems like the perfect one!

  568. I start each day with Proverbs 31 comments and personal prayers! Each prayer touches my heart and moves me to action!

  569. Dana Masquat says:

I first learned about you (Renee Swope) on KLOVE! I looked forward to the ONE minute segments on the radio. That one minute painted my entire day with colorful encouragement! There were days where my spirit yearned for more and I anticipated the next time your encouragement was going to be streamed on KLOVE. I recently joined Proverbs 31 Ministry on line! It has been a blessing! I didn’t know you all offered so much to help us along as we run our Christian race. There are some days when my stride and pace are full of strength and other days when I struggle. Your ministry has really help boost my spirit on the days the race is rough and the toughest opponent is yourself. Its funny…I picture your ministry metaphorically as those that stand on the side lines of marathons with cups of water in their hands to help hydrate the runners while they trek through to the finish line. You guys are awesome! Thanks for your devotion to the Lord and to the lives of believers! God’s blessings to you all! Much Love! 🙂

  570. Karen Lauzon says:

I could really use a confident heart right now .I seem to be confused by fear and I am not sure if God is already telling me what to do and it is right in front of me or if he is just saying wait on him .I am in a complicated situation right now and I just want to be obedient but at the same time I feel frozen .

  571. I am buying the devotional book for daily affirmation of God’s love for me, and for confidence in Him! I would love to win additional copies to share with my mom; she doesn’t know the LORD and she suffers from depression. I desperately want her to come to a saving faith in Christ and to find her identity and confidence in Him.

  572. I would love the devotional because I am currently in the OBS and feel like Renee wrote the book for me :).

  573. I am a remarried mother of 3, and everyday life bogs me down daily. Dealing with my ex-husband, our 2 kids, my husband and our child, work, volunteering time at church, and trying to juggle all of this is hard, but this book and it’s lessons have helped in so many ways I could not possibly name them all! I am so thankful for these daily moments that help me remember God is with me through it all!

  574. I continually struggle daily with feelings/thoughts of fear, anxiety, depression. I seek Gods guidance through
prayer, brothers and sisters in Christ and His word. What a blessing this devotional can be to myself and so many others, another tool in our tool kit designed and orchestrated by God. Thank you for being obedient
to His calling to reach out to the body of Christ through this devotional,DVD etc. I very much look forward to
hearing your heart beat through His which will bring so much healing.

  575. Sandy McCartney says:

I think this book sounds like a great way to rekindle my faith and confidence in the Lord. I was on fire for the Lord about 6 years ago, and then many trials made me stumble, and slip away. I have been trying to get close to the Lord again, but am struggling to find my way. I would like to gain encouragement and enthusiasm in my Christian walk. I know I am called to more. Thanks for the opportunity for a chance to win this book!

  576. I’m taking part in the on-line bible study of the book and it is providing tremendous encouragement. The devotional will be a great extension of those truths and continued encouragement.

  577. Robin Richards says:

Please read the following to see why I would like to have this book. I feel like have been punched in the gut by God. I know He wouldn’t do any such thing, but His silence to my prayers for the past three years has impacted my faith to the point that I struggle with persevering in faith. I lost my job three years ago. I was 55-years-old at the time. I am a true believer is seeking God’s guidance in all areas of my life. I have spent the past three years praying and seeking His will, wisdom and guidance through prayer, bible study and worship. He has never let me down before in this regard, and I know He has bigger plans for me because I wait for Him. In the meantime, my financial situation has become serious. I know the gifts and talents with which He has blessed me, but I don’t how He wants me to use them. I am trying self-employment, but I need help to remain confident, strong and know there is confident freedom that God is walking with me. My day begins and ends with Him in prayer and bible study, but still His guidance and answers seem to be elusive. Your book may help see things differently.

    • Karri Hollingsworth says:

I felt drawn to your post…it seems as you’re doing everything “right” as far as living a Christian life, which I admire tremendously, but a verse popped in my head as I was reading your post. I’m not sure of the book, but the verse goes something like this “be still and know that I am God, I will never forsake you” I know that’s not the exact verse but, like I previously mentioned, it rang in my head as I read your post. Everything is on God’s time so maybe he’s waiting for the exact time for your business to take off or maybe he wants you to go down a different path. No matter what, with your strong faith, when you feel the pull in your gut, and listen with your heart, you’ll receive your answer. I will keep you in my prayers!!

  578. I would love to read this devotional and share it with my daughter.

  579. My heart has been broken these last 7 months and I am looking for a way to heal. I think this book would help me.

    • Karri Hollingsworth says:

I’m so sorry your heart is broken….remember, God loves you and only he can fill your heart. It took me a long time to fully grasp that..I’ll be praying for you!!!

  580. Hi
I am always on the outlook for new material to share with my Ladies Bible Study. I have some very precious and hungry women wanting to learn more on Living for Jesus and what He has to teach us.
I would be honoured to win this book as I know it would meet the needs of some if not all of my ladies.
    God Bless

  581. Karri Hollingsworth says:

I know that I probably won’t win this, but the opportunity came at the perfect time!! I’m reading “A confident heart” for the second time and I’m getting way more “meat” out of it this time. Renee is an amazing writer and mentor! I would really benefit from the daily devotional because as the mother of two small children and a full time college student, a daily dose of extra confidence is always needed. Also, I have a dear friend who’s suffering with major insecurity issues. This book would bless her in so many ways and help her to realize that no matter what, God’s love is priceless and we can be confident that he loves us no matter what our past looks like..

  582. I’ve been struggling with my parenting of two teenaged daughters…I think we could all benefit from this book!

  583. I have been really enjoying A Confident Heart. I know myself and how easy it is to forget what I learn and to fall back into bad habits. This devotional for A Confident Heart would be so helpful to continue my journey of changing my heart.

  584. Jen Dattilo says:

  585. I so need this book. I feel I go from crisis to crisis, white knuckling it the whole way. Many times, I excessivley worry for nothing. I need help just letting it all go to the Lord.

  586. I’d love to win The Confident Heart devotional because I need it so much in my life right now. I’m undergoing so many scary transitions and I absolutely need this encourage right now. 588. I would love to read this and learn through Christ to have a confident heart.

  589. I am thankful for this book confident heart and the change it has made on my like.

  590. I am currently participating in the bible study A Confident Heart and I am amazed at how you can easily get distracted and that satan is looking at every opportunity to steal your happiness and joy to make you feel empty and not worthy! When I got to the part of the bible study that said ” you are looking at the shadow just turn back to the light and the shadow will be gone” Oh my!!!!! I was so filled with the warmth of the light a feeling that I can’t seems to find the words for! It was just that easy just face the light! I am now facing that light and I want to share that experience with everyone! Thanks you for your simple words that have such a huge impact on my life!

  591. Megan Jackson says:

Loving the book so far! Daily doses of A Confident Heart would be amazing!!

God Bless You for the work that you do through your ministry!!!

  594. Looking forward to receiving this book; been having a difficult time lately and I’m hoping this will offer me some guidance and security in my relationship with Christ…

  595. Karla Elaine says:

I have been saved for just four week and was Baptised I week ago. I am learning so much already but I heard from a friend that this is one book I HAVE to own. Can’t wait to read it!!

  596. GOD has not given us a spirt of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. The enemy wants to bring a spirit of defeat in our lives through his lies. He wants to tell us that we are NOT overcomers. GOD’s Word reminds us that we are more than conquerers and able to resist and defeat the enemy. The devil has to flee when we believe and proclaim GOD’s Word. This devotional is needed! It’s a weapon in warfare for every believer and hope for both believers and non.

  597. Lorna Jacoby says:

Confident on the outside, while the inside shouts out words…blasts from the past….childhood abuse, Failed marriage (S), lost friendships, now a caregiver to my mother…pushing forward ..feeling as if I am visibly limping, sometimes wishing someone would come by and put their arm around me and help me, carry me and lift the burdens that weigh down my heart. Haven’t wanted to open pages of a book, but this one intrigues me. It’s time for change.

  598. Life can be overwhelming with responsibilities at work, home, kids’ school and church. I get down on myself for not being able to do it all… This book sounds like just the tool to guide me to God’s grace and peace when all around me seems to be “towering” over me. Thank you for the opportunity! “I’m on it!”

  599. Tracie Gebauer says:

This is what I as many women struggle with on a daily basis. The struggles of ” Am I good enough to keep my husband’s eyes on me”, ” Do they like me”, and the many other struggles that many face. I daily ask for God’s help in my struggle areas, but I seem to fail offten. I desperatley need guidance and help in overcoming my fears and doubts and let’s not forget my uglies( that’s what I call it when I fail).

  600. Crystal Caudill says:

Doubt is something I have dealt with all my life. The last two years were really crippling to my confidence. When I gave up on teaching and became a stay at home mom the doubt I dealt with was almost too much to bear. I had lost my identity and was struggling to find my self worth. God laid your book a Confident Heart in my lap and it truly has helped me to move forward. There are days that confidence is truly a struggle and I know I need to strengthen my alone time with God, but lack direction. It would be a great help and guidance to me. As I have traveled down this road of doubt and self consciousness I have met other women like me and have shared your wisdom and guidance from it. I am blessed to teach a small group of young women who will also benefit from your message. The devotional would be a great resource for me and the second one would give me the opportunity to seek out an accountability partner to walk down this road with me. The book and DVD bundle would facilitate bringing your message of confidence to others through our weekly small group meetings. Thank you for the great words you have provided.

  601. I would love to have this book!! The encouragement and confidence coming from God is beyond what I can do alone!! And to add it it the Proverbs 31 devotional would be wonderful!!

  602. I logged in after receiving the email to win this devotional. Then I saw where we were asked to share our story why we would benefit from winning it. Well, let me tell you, even though I am going through my own major struggles, I truly see I could have it so much worse! Even though I have recently lost my job after working in the medical profession for 15+ years with a college age son & a 16 year old daughter to take care of, at least I still have them! Although my dad & father-in-law both battled cancer at the same time this past year & we lost my father-in-law, we still have my daddy, even with residual problems from treatments. I fight battles daily wondering “Why me?” “Why us?” “Why now?” I am thankful after reading some of these other posts that I am still able to even ask the questions. Lord forgive me & place me where I may be used!
