When you say…. God says….

When you say:
I feel worthless.

God says: You are precious and loved by Me.

You are precious and honored in my sight, and… I love you. Isa. 43:4

~From Chapter 12, A Confident Heart

Have you taken a peek at Chapter 12? I have included a chart of 31 of our most common whispers of doubts and truths God wants to speak into our hearts to set us back into a place of living in the security of HIS promises! They are just like the one I posted above.

No matter where you are in the book, I hope you’ll turn to Chapter 12 and  let them speak to your heart and into your doubts today.

I just finished speaking to these amazing women in Miami. I am at Expolit with my family attending a Spanish book convention where my book is being released in Spanish and Portuguese this week! I did a break-out session for women and now I’m heading into a luncheon where I am keynoting. Then I have five interviews with radio stations from Miami, Spain, Honduras, and other international outlets and then a book signing this afternoon.

I am so honored to be here with Wendy Bello from Proverbs 31 Spanish Ministries and with Paulo from Editorial Patmos, who is releasing my book and invited me to be here. {And Im not sure why Aster is making that funny face. I think that she was saying Cheese :)}

Updated Sunday: Here is a fun video from my Spanish publisher capturing my time at Expolit. If only I could understand all that is being said. One thing I know is that I have fallen in love with the hearts of these people!!

You are so inspiring and how exciting to see what a difference you and your book will be making when it is published in other languages. So many womens lives to touch!!!!

    • Kim, I love sharing the tools and verses that have helped me. Without God’s truths tucked in my heart and into my thoughts every day, I couldn’t walk in the confidence He has for me as His child. I love that you are using the charts for encouragement too!!

Praying women from many different languages will be given access to the life-giving and lie-breaking promises Jesus offers to set them free!

  3. TABITHA JONES says:

I am loving your book. I have a friend that has a daughter that just got saved and is in a recovery home and I wrote her a letter and shared some of your book with her. She loved what I shared so now I am in the process of finking out if they will let her have a copy at this home. You are such an inspiration, keep sharing what the Lord gives you.
Blessings to you and your team.

    • Im praying that Jesus will make a way for you to be able to get her a copy of A Confident Heart. I have had several counselors tell me they use it with women who are struggling with depression, anxiety or walking through recovery. Im going to be praying for her to feel the weight and pain of all that she’s carrying fall off as she receives all that Jesus has for her!

  4. Thank you for sharing so much wisdom with us, Renee. I’m reading ahead into chapter 8 and saw the verse from Isaiah. I’ve started collecting affirmative verses to carry with me and look at when I’m feeling insecure. Life can be a daily battle of endless attacks on our security in Christ, so those verses are our ‘weapons’ for fighting back and our faith in God is our shield. I need to be ‘armed’ every day in order to grow in confidence. Thank you for giving us these tools!

    • Amen Julie!! We have an enemy who is constantly on the prowl wanting to take us down or take us captive to discouragement and lies. But the more we turn toward the truth and pray it out loud and keep reminding ourselves of His unfailing love, the more we recognize the lies and can turn away from them faster. It’s a journey and a process and I love that we’re in it together!

  5. Gwenda says:

Renee words can not express what your book & this online study has done for me.
I am ever so greatful you were obedient in sharing your story through this book.
For years I thought my battle was a lonely one, I was on my own in it. Now I know
I am not alone. I can overcome me insecurities through my loving Father along with
encouragement we can all share with each other. We are not called to do life alone:-)

    • Amen, you are not alone Gwenda!! Love that Jesus has exposed that lie and is setting you free in His love – more and more as you trust His heart for you each day!

  6. Priscilla says:

I have been blessed by this study but still struggle with negative feelings. I feel so bad that I still struggle after 67 years of life. I love The Lord and want to do His will for my life but feel that early choices in life have hindered what I could have done for His kingdom to come. I know I can’t change the past and sometimes I am encouraged but the discouragement still dogs me. Thank you again for the study. I need to read and reread your book!

  7. Lourdes says:

Renee, I just want to say that I have read your book, and have also done your bible study on line and it has been a great inspiration , and blessing in my life, and it ha helped me in my spiritual growth. I have actually done your bible study twice for every time God reveals something new. to me. I hope to read your book in Spanish, as I’m bilingual. ” El Corazon Confiando”. God Bless…Que Dios te bendiga! .

  8. I am so grateful for your book. Your suggested scriptures are a great encouragement. I love what you posted today about how GOD sees us! I have spent a lot of time listening to others and myself say I am NOT good enough, and that I am worthless, but today I know and believe that God is my Abba. He loves me, values me, is proud of me, and will never leave me. I have been told I need to share my story of how God has kept me alive and brought me victory. Oh, yes there are days like this mornig when I struggle, but that is when I have learned to RUN to Jesus, to be enfolded in His arms, to LEAN on Him. Because of God’s faithfullness through the years, I am 62, I know that whatever this day or the future holds, HE will be there for me. Thanks for sharing so honestly your life, your journey, your self.

  9. Barbara says:

Chapter 8 was a true blessing to me. I have struggled with knowing God’s purpose for my life and where I should be ministering. When I first thought God was wanting me to begin a women’s ministry at my church, I approached the pastor. He said that was fine but not to expect the younger women to be involved. His words discouraged me so much that I seriously considered not going through with getting the ministry started. God kept prodding me to go ahead so I did. Thank the Lord that I was obedient to Him. Our womens’ ministry is small (we live in a small town) but God is using it and me. Thank you, Renee for your encouraging words. God bless you.
